I had a very unsatisfactory experience with this operation and absolutely do NOT recommend them. Came out and diagnosed it as the icemaker unit plus a filter replacement for $750. Unit worked fine after he left; I suspect it was just a matter of seating the bin correctly or a little shard of ice in the wrong place. The business then kept over twice the $155 I was quoted for the initial visit. (I had paid the tech 1/2 of the total quoted costs in advance, almost $400.), even though no parts were replaced or failure actually established. And the icemaker was not broken! Completely uncompromising and no refund of any money upon complaint. All in all, an unreputable outfit, in my considered opinion.

I have used them twice for my GE range, both times the technician was Allen. He was fun to talk to, and did a great job. He's a terrific ambassador for the company.

Allen did an excellent thorough job with diagnosing my dryer. He was willing to explain what was happening and treated me respectfully! He is an awesome tech, definitely a keeper!!!!!

This was my first time trying out this company but I was very pleased with the prompt and courteous service. Derek was extremely knowledgeable and quickly had my ice dispenser working better than when it was new. I will definitely be calling Action Appliance next time I need any kind of appliance repair

Brandon was our refrigerator service technician, and he was fantastic. Trustworthy, kind, and reliable. Exactly the kind of person you want in your home. A real asset to any organization. We were lucky to get him.

Tom came out last minute, late at night, even though he didnt need too. He helped with our refrigerator repair, even though we decided to go through samsung for repairs he was professional and helpful in our time of need. Thank you Tom!

Their tech, Marcos, came out the same day I reported an issue with our fridge. He diagnosed the issue quickly and had it fixed three days later. It is working perfectly now!

$154 to come out & see what issue is. Didn’t say they add on 4% cc charge. So $161.15 total for tech to tell me fix for my 4 yr old dryer will cost more than replacing the entire unit. Quoted over $900. Then tech stood while he had to call office, wait to speak to someone to ask them to send me a bill. Then waited while I accessed my email to pay. I can understand they want to be sure ppl pay but I told him that was uncomfortable. If they need you to pay that minute, tech should come equipped to take payment. Wouldn’t use in future. Good communication just uncomfortable & expensive.

I called early and Tom arrived within an hour or two! Fast, friendly, service for sure. Tom walked me through what is going on with my machine and the options I have for repair and was able to order the parts on the spot. Glad I found them in my time of need.

I was pleasantly surprised that I could have someone look at my broken dryer on the same day. Marcos was amazing diagnosing the problem. Even though I needed a costly repair, the repair was done the next day by Carlos. What a team of polite, competent, tidy efficient workers!!! I am so happy with the quick repair and will use this company again. How refreshing to have hard knowledgeable workers today!!!

Allen & Dion are the techs who did the assessment and repair of our dishwasher. In each case, they arrived in the scheduled window and were cordial. They went to work quickly and wasted no time in the repairs. Their work area was kept clean and they protected our floors while working.
We have had Action do work for us on several occasions and are very satisfied with the repairs.

Dion was experienced, thoughtful, and knew how to make the repair. In the process he saw that a part he had purchased was missing the appropriate seals. Rather than just put it on and us having trouble later, he purchased the correct part and finished the repair.

Dion was amazing and friendly. Dion fixed my washer door and took all the old parts with him. He was also fine with Luna (my Pitbull) hang out in the house.

Derek was very helpful. He came out for the complimentary follow up inspection we requested and explained to us all of the possible causes of the problem, then actually addressed them. I appreciate his kindness and thoroughness.

First, im mad at myself for not researching the repair we needed. Bad review on me. Sometimes when you're busy, you just want it done knowing it's going to cost. With a service call fee of $153 that you can put toward the repair, and knowing that it was a small broken piece of plastic, I had in mind that with labor, the job would be in that price range. Nope, the estimate was over $420. UNREAL! The price of a new dishwasher! I reluctantly pay the service call fee. I look up the part on the whirlpool website. It is $46 with an instruction video attached. Now I want my $153 back for the 5 minute service call. When I call the company inquiring about the parts and labor fees with a job that will take 6 minutes, I was told it's not an hourly rate, it's by the job. Some of us want to support local business, but this is not good business.

We were very pleased with both people who did the diagnostic and repair on our washer and dryer. Today it was very snowy with ofcourse bad roads but Dion managed to make it to do the repairs...great job! This review also goes out to the very helpful, friendly receptionist.

Brandon was amazing. Listened to my furnace challenges and he thought outside the box to solve the problems. Very professional and personable. I would hire and work with him any day of the year.

This is the second time I’ve called Action Appliance to look at a major appliance. (Obviously, we were very satisfied with their first visit.) Allen arrived very promptly within the estimated time I was given, was very friendly and listened to my problem with the dryer. I left him to it and he soon reported that our exhaust pipe was clogged and gave me, what I thought, was a very fair price to clean it out. He cleaned it out and reported that the dryer was working properly.
Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you, Allen and we are very happy to know that we have Action Appliance to count on in the future.

This company is a rip off. My mom needed 5 drawers for her refrigerator and they charged her 160 to send someone out just to look at the fridge, then they told her the 5 drawers would be 2000 dollars. So she decided to just get 1 bottom drawer and the charged her 400 for the one bottom drawer. So I told her I could find those parts cheaper. I looked on Amazon and got all 5 pieces for her refrigerator for 173.dollars. SO WE CALLED ACTION APPLIANCE TO CANCEL THE 400 DOLLAR ORDER SO THEY CHARGED HER A 260 FOR A CANCELLATION FEE. WHEN YOU CALL IT SAYS THEY HAVE GREAT PRICES AND SERVICE. This company is a Rip off, they are way over priced, don't care about the customer, and will try and to STEAL AS MUCH MONEY FROM YOU AS THEY CAN. If you need a place for place to get good prices on appliances, Don't ever, ever, ever Call this Company. Unless you liked getting Ripped off. The only way this company stays in business is by ripping off the clients. How pathetic.

Scheduled a service call because our furnace went out. We were worried about our pipes freezing. Our timeframe was 4-8pm. Isabelle was polite and helpful, however when I called to inquire when our technician might come, Isabelle's Supervisor told me they'd have to reschedule because the tech had an emergency. I asked some questions and the Supervisor told me she didn't want to work with me. She hung up on me. I've been a customer for various appliances at least since 2013 and possibly before. I've always had good service. I called back a day later asking for the Owner's contact information to share this unfortunate customer treatment with them, and the same Supervisor answered. She hung up on me again! Very unprofessional and poor customer service.
