I had a very positive experience with Elephant. I worked with home comfort advisor, Louis, who was knowledgeable, provided a very a straightforward and well priced design and quote (for my old, funky Denver home) without having to come see the house. While we ended up going another route, I had a great customer experience and would highly recommend Elephant for those in their service areas needing a heat pump without hassle.

Elephant was absolutely wonderful! They were the only contractor who could explain the calculations for sizing the heat pump, they did multiple site visits to verify and confirm how the installation was going to work, and they were able to schedule the install to allow a floor repair between the removal of the old unit and installation of the new one. They continue to check in on our installation even though we are over a month gone.

The installation was clean, the crew was polite and informative, and they knew exactly what they were doing.

We had a heat pump installed by Elephant and we had a great experience. The price was competitive, they handled all the rebates, and the service and communication were top notch. One of the rebates included in the quote ran out of funds, and Elephant paid us the difference directly to honor the original quote.

I just had a 3-ton Mitsubishi hyper heat installed on my 100+ year old home in Denver. I was very impressed with Elephant's entire process, from initial proposal, to educating me on my options with the product & how it worked to the final install/commissioning. I'm in the commercial and industrial HVAC space and I relayed some of my positive experience to my colleagues, particularly the digital experience and how that smoothed the entire project finish initial contact with Elephant through my final inspection.

We are so pleased with our mini-split! It's made such a huge difference! We are able to host gatherings in a space that otherwise felt unhospitable because we weren't able to maintain a reasonable temperature. Many people have commented on the welcoming space we now have! Elephant Energy installed a heat pump system for my home at the start of 2023. The install process was streamlined, and their team was a pleasure to work with during the process.

However, it was a frustrating and prolonged process to complete inspections - from Jan 2023 to Sept 2024. It took a pretty exasperated email after two no-replies to get to the finish line.

Since the install, I started having some electrical connectivity issues with the attic. It finally got to a point where certain ceiling lights would not turn on. There were also a couple items I wanted done in the attic, so I rented an insulation vacuum to investigate and start the other work. To my shock, I found the insulation had been compacted down to near or below the joists from the 20+” of loose fill that was there prior in a swath from the attic hatch all the way across the house on one side. A couple months prior to the work by Elephant Energy, I had air sealing and insulation done by another company in preparation for the heat pump install since my 1950s home was pretty lacking in that respect. The cost for the insulation work was not trivial.

While I can’t attribute the electrical issues to the work done by Elephant Energy (it very well could have been the insulation company too), I can place the blame on them for severely compacting the insulation since they had to pull a difficult run from between the electrical panel to the condenser. No other work has been done in the attic since.

I’m well aware working in low slung attics like mine is challenging especially with loose fill insulation in the way. I understand the cost to remove, dispose and blow in insulation hurts their bottom line, but considering Elephant Energy’s business is predicated upon energy efficiency, it’s pretty at odds with their ethos to take so little care with the attic insulation during the install.

Had a new VRF heat pump and a HP water heater installed last year. The folks at Elephant E were super professional and helpful. The install was uneventful and they quickly answered all our questions as we learned to operate.

Elephant Energy installed a heat pump solution for our house and did a great job from start to finish. The initial consultation was very professional, and the installation went according to plan with no surprises. After the installation, the team made sure we received all of the available rebates as well. It was cost effective and easy to work with Elephant Energy on our project.

Although we did not sign a contract with Elephant Energy for our whole-home cold climate heat pump installation, we were very impressed with Allison's professionalism, throughness, and follow-through during the entire process.

EE took several factors into consideration when sizing a system for our home, and unlike several of their competitors, they took an aggressive approach when selecting the correct system for our home, avoiding a potentially oversized system that would likely result in excessive cycling and non-optimized operation. EE was not able to schedule an install prior to the expiration of several rebates/credits, so we ended up going with another provider that had availability to complete our installation prior to year end. We would highly recommend considering Elephant Energy for your heat pump needs!

I've been plotting with Elephant to upgrade my mother's home since August 15, 2023. They stuck with me through all my questions and curveballs especially leading up to the launch of the Colorado HEAR rebates. Our Elephant Champion is Alex who would answer my calls after work, update me on last minute items, and squeeze me into an installation schedule the final days of 2025 in order to claim the electrification tax credits.

I can't overstate how instrumental Steve has also been in our electrification journey. He's provided the technical insight and wrangled contractors to make sure we got what we needed and was also available to answer questions.

Overall, we saved $26k on a $39k project because of the expertise of Elephant and the commitment to getting this work accomplished as soon as possible. I'm particularly fond of their one year comfort guarantee in the event that this new equipment doesn't meet our expectations.

For this scope of work, we were originally quoted more than $80k by some other businesses like cooper, and they tried talking us out of electrification saying how it's not reliable in cold climates. They weren't with the times, but elephant sure is.

I really enjoyed working with Elephant Energy, although I did not ultimately decide to move forward with the project for reasons not related to their business or quote. I was looking for a heat pump HVAC and heat pump water heater to replace my traditional gas-fired heater and water heater.

Their sales team (I worked with Allison) was extremely helpful, friendly, and readily available. If there was a technical question she could not answer immediately, she was diligent about following up and getting that answer for me.

The quote process was all virtual, with a video walkthrough to help the team understand details of the installation. She was thorough about explaining their processes and next steps. I am familiar with heat pump technology, but even for someone who may not be, Allison was able to explain the benefits of such a system.

I had a superb experience working with Elephant Energy to purchase and install my heat pump. The project manager was extremely knowledgeable and went "over and above" to make sure all my needs and expectations were met. Even before I made a commitment, their technicians completed a detailed assessment to make sure they were recommending a heat pump that was "right-sized" for my house. This made me confident I was buying the right product. The project manager also referred me to the Colorado rebate program, which ended up providing the maximum rebate for my project, covering nearly 75% of the cost. Installation was less than two days and went smoothly. I would highly recommend this company if you want a heat pump. It is their specialty and their customer service proves they know what they're doing!

I Love Elephant Energy! I had my Mitsubishi Heat Pump (with the optional heat strips) and Rheem Proterra Heat Pump Water Heater installed by their team and contractors in October 2025. My home is much more comfortable and warm and consistent in temperature than it was with my old 2-stage gas furnace. It is also more consistently warm on my second floor! There were a few issues with the install on the HP Water Heater, but Elephant was in constant contact with me and the issues were resolved successfully. I worked with Elephant through the Switch Together program, and Elephant was very competitive on price and they assisted me with receiving all the maximum applicable rebates. (Other companies didn’t) I did my homework and had 5 quotes from other companies but Elephant was best in customer service and price and features offered. The other companies didn’t want to bundle the Heat Pump with the HP Water Heater. I got a great deal on that bundle through Elephant!
