We had our furnace checked out from the original "Big-Box HVAC" company that installed our unit. We were told that we had cracks in the heat exchanger and needed a new heat exchanger. I wanted a second opinion, so I emailed Jeison. Jeison emailed me to call him right away. He was at our house, afterhours, within the hour. He told us that the unit was shot and dangerous to operate. In addition, after taking it all apart, Miguel discovered that multiple holes in the heat exchanger had been "caulked" three years prior during a previous "Big-Box HVAC" checkup when we reported a smell.
Within 24 hours of my first contact, we had a brand- new unit operating in our home. Jeison and Miguel are the tops. Miguel worked consistently and happily and didn't leave even a speck of dust behind. We 100% recommend TICO HVAC without any reservation. We are grateful.

Jeison and his crew were absolutely the best. I received 2 bids to install a mini split in my condo. Jeison's was the lowest bid by a modest amount, but the level of service he offered was far superior to what his competitor offered. Jeison spent time with me, recommending the right unit for my small condo and steering me toward the most cost-effective option. They were on site within a few days of signing the contract, completed the work in one day, left my place clean and neat, and left me feeling really good about the decision to finally put in a proper heating/cooling unit. My entire family has used Jeison over the years, and for a reason. He is competent, fair, and a really nice guy.

Two things before I comment on the work: (1) I’m an M.I.T. Graduate w/ a MechE degree (2) I rarely do reviews unless the the work is exceptional. TICO HVAC did a whole house furnace & air-conditioner replacement along with a water heater upgrade on our property. Their entire operation is 1st class. Their work quality and attention to detail is exceptional. Their choice and recommendations for equipment manufacturers is spot on. They are state of the art in everything they recommend and do. They take extreme pride in their work , show up on time and don’t leave until the job is done. I can’t say enough good things about this company. They have a customer for life from us. If you need HVAC work done I would highly recommend you give them a call.

TicoHVAC is an excellent company. The owner does a great job communicating, great pricing, and wants to be sure everything is done properly. They installed a new outside and inside AC unit for me and it was not a normal install and all I can say is the owner and his team are really good! I will use again for sure.

We had a problem with our A/C unit on the hottest day of the year. I called Tico and they came out immediately, diagnosed the issue and had our A/C unit back up and running in no time. Quick, efficient and affordable service. I would definitely use them again!

About a month after closing on my condo, the AC stopped blowing cold air and I contacted the same company the seller used. The first appt was useless - I told dispatch it was rooftop unit when I made the appt. The tech did not have a ladder.

When he came back a few days later, he did a warranty fill of refrigerant and added leak sealant. I was warned if it happened again I would need a leak search completed which could be pricey and inconvenient with units above me.

It stopped blowing cold air again a few weeks later but before calling them back, I made an appointment with Tico HVAC for a second opinion. I received great communication from the time I scheduled until the tech, Oliver arrived.

Oliver had a ladder.

Oliver spent hours in 97° heat, going up and down the stairs and out the hatch to my rooftop unit figuring out why my condenser was not powering on; it was not a coolant issue this time.

Turns out an electrical wire was broken -- who knows why or how but Oliver repaired it and I will be sleeping comfortably without the sound of the box fan coming in for landing in my room tonight.

I will continue to use Tico HVAC; I just felt so much better during the whole appointment.

Tico replaced our water heater. They were awesome! They scheduled us quickly, came prepared, were very careful about moving materials and protecting carpet I would gladly have them do projects in the future. Real keepers! Highest quality of work I’ve seen in years!

I reached out to Tico HVAC today. Within 3 hours, Oliver and Kevin were at my property. They provided excellent diagnosis and service of the heating problem. Our 25 year old evaporative cooler went out last week just in time for a hot spell here in Colorado. So we looked for an AC quote from our current HVAC company along with some recommendations we had seen on a Broomfield Mom's group, and a bigger corporate company.

Tico HVAC wasn't the rock bottom cheapest, but they were very reasonable and could do the work the next day. And based on the reviews from the many neighbors on their work, we booked them.

Wow. Done with a hard installation in a day (they had to lower the furnace to make room for the coils and access to the outside for the compressor wasn't straight forward) with a neat job and full explanation of how the system works and ties into our current thermostat and furnace proved that we made the right choice.

Definitely would recommend Tico HVAC. Reasonable prices, honest interactions, hard workers - and local!

He took his time to investigate the issue with my furnace and saved us money after multiple other companies had simply replaced parts without actually fixing the main issue. Jeison, Ricardo, and Miguel installed a new Amana heat pump/furnace, a Hot Dawg garage heater, new ductwork in the basement, a new cold air return system to improve airflow in the bedrooms, and new inline bathroom vent fans. They exceeded my expectations in all areas.
