Had Nate out to do a service/panel upgrade and add a new subpanel. Zero complaints -- he did a great job and got it done in one day while my family was out of the house.

Had Kappler back out for a Mitsubishi ducted heat pump install (replacing an old furnace/AC). The entire crew was friendly and worked diligently to get things installed in a timely manner and the heat back on by end of day.

Unfortunately, an issue arose during install that I was not happy with -- when time permitted, I reached out to the install manager (Justin) and after discussion it was decided that Kappler would replace the outdoor condenser unit to resolve any issues beyond a shadow of a doubt (at no cost to me). They came out today and performed that replacement with no issue. I think it very likely that many contractors would have brushed aside my concerns.

In my view, it is more important how a contractor handles problems/unhappy customers than how they handle things that go perfectly as planned. (After all, in my experience, it is rare that work ever goes as planned...) And Kappler took the "100 % customer satisfaction" thing very seriously which I sincerely appreciate.

Ruben and Steven from Kappler did a great job servicing our mini split and gas furnace. They came on time, were professional and got the annual tune up complete. Kappler has a good notification system about upcoming appointments making it easy to stay on top of annual maintenance.

Kappler Mechanical is top tier in all areas. We used them in May 2022 for a new HVAC system and again in February 2023 for a new tankless water heater and water softener installation. I am consistently and completely impressed by this company. Brent, Justin, Alex, and the whole team are communicative, professional, and work until it’s done and done right. The team goes above any beyond to do quality work in a cleanly manner. Kappler is not the cheapest option, but the extra cost is well worth it for the level of service and outstanding end results provided. I genuinely wish I could use them for everything home-related. They’ve made loyal customers out of me and my husband and we recommend them to everyone and anyone we can. Do yourself a favor and pick Kappler if you’re on the fence.

Kappler Mechanical provided excellent service when we requested a diagnostic/troubleshooting visit. Travis did a great job of analyzing and determining next steps with our thermostat replacement. Bosch recommended that we reach out to Kappler and that referral turned out to be a good one.

Kappler is amazing. I used them in 2008 originally to install my house HVAC system. They have been great at servicing that system since and it is still working great! Recently used them for a mini-split system to replace one that has not worked well (they weren’t doing mini-splits when I installed the old one). My mini-split install crew (Adrian, Logn and Alex) were respectful, prompt, clean and professional and I highly recommend Kappler for any of your HVAC needs!

Excellent installation of a new HVAC system, thousands below another highly rated competitor. They went out of their way to do a clean installation without even removing any drywall, which was a pleasant surprise. Courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable team. Highly recommend.

From the sales process to installation, everyone we met at Kappler were amazing to work with. Brent was incredibly responsive and clearly explained the heat pump and heat pump water heater system we were quoted. The installation team were some of the best we've seen. They were professional and did a great job communicating with us through the process. We highly recommend Kappler and would use them again for further HVAC needs.

We have excellent support for our Furnace and A/C that were installed by Kappler 13 years ago. Ulysess has serviced our installation for 3 years and did again recently with Travis. Brent was just here to talk about other options for heat pumps and battery backup switching and other furnace upgrades for the future. We have had professional and expert information and service from this team.

This is our second installation by Kappler and we were very happy with the process and the results could not be better. We have reached our goal to switch everything we can from gas to electricity with both major jobs done by Kappler. Over a year ago, they replaced the gas furnace & air conditioning units with a heat pump and extra split unit which keeps our bedroom extra toasty in the winter. This was a suggestion by Project Manager Brent Monnin which we are very glad we did. We worked with Brent again to replace our gas water heater with a shorter heat pump unit. This transition was seamless and the crew led by Noah Mazzola was excellent. Not only did we go electric, they moved the water heater to our crawl space, freeing up valuable real estate we can repurpose. Installation Coordinator Kristina Mestas is also excellent, getting us everything we needed to take advantage of rebates and tax credits proactively. This is a top notch company in all respects.

Kappler visited us for a semiannual service. They’re always professional and often early. I ask questions and they always have good answers leaving us assured of their competence. Steven and Travis tag teamed the visit and gave us an update at the end which left us feeling confident and assured of the system’s future.

Justin and team installed a mini-split system (ductless AC + heat pump), and everything went stellar. From the first communication to the final handshake, their team was professional, expert, and friendly. Not only were they able to accommodate us asking for an earlier install time, their team showed up and finished the entire project in a single day! We had a pretty straightforward 3-zone setup, but even still, the efficiency of their work was incredible.

They laid down mats for everything, cleaned when they were done, and spent ample time walking us through every aspect of the new system.

10/10, Kappler will be my HVAC and heating company moving forward without any hesitation. If you want a job done on time, on budget, and done correctly, hire them.

Ulises was extremely courteous and prompt for the appointment. He knew exactly what was wrong with the system, and not only explained to me what was wrong but showed me different tools of my system that I had never been shown before from other contractors . Now I will know what to look at if I have further problems.

To me that shows that he's a top-notch technician.

I'm impressed with their level of service starting from the office staff to their technicians. They certainly have a higher level of expertise than the installers and other companies who were unable to fix the problem.

Our great experience started with Brent who assessed our needs, suggested great options, checked current rebates, and quickly provided quotes. We went with a Mitsubishi cassette mini split. The Installation team led by Adrian, along with Eric & Alec, did a phenomenal job. The team that installed our Mitsubishi mini split system were incredible! The quality of the work, communication, promptness and respect for our property was second to none. Seven different technicians worked on our project over the course of 3 days and we could tell they were not only well-trained and knowledgeable, but also committed to completing the project properly, with no short cuts. Without being asked, they even quickly corrected a couple of previously poorly installed items (from other contractors) including lazily installed cold air return ducts and a electrical outlet that was incorrectly installed. What a pleasure to have this level of integrity and competence working in our home. As far as we’re concerned, Kappler Mechanical is our new go- to for anything HVAC related!

Foolishly, we had another company install Mitsubishi mini split system. When we kept having issues, we brought in Kappler. We were not getting heat out of one of the mini split heads and called Kappler late on a Friday and they had a technician at our place first thing on Saturday morning. The technician troubleshot our system and found that the previous installer had not completed the install properly. There were several switches that needed to be changed to reflect our system configuration. Once those switches were fixed are system worked flawlessly. We love Kappler!

Update: We had Kappler quote and install line hide on our outdoor lines They did a great job! You can from the before and after photos what a difference the line hide made. We have already pre-scheduled them for our Spring check-up on our Mini split system.

Update: We're so happy to have found a great HVAC company, that we're doing more work with them. Had Kappler in today to replace and clean our humidifier system. I called at 8:30am and they were here at 10:15am. Great job!

Update: Our appreciation for doing business with Kappler continues to grow. Based upon the great experience that we had working with Kappler on our furnace and the mini split system, we decided to try Kappler's electrical services. I'm pleased to say that they are did just as excellent work as the other members of the Kappler team. Nate and Eric added two new outlets, installed a timer switch and a pico switch for us. They were on time, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. And they did a great job taking care of our house while working and cleaned up afterwards so we couldn't even tell they were there I'd certainly have them back anytime!

Alex recently installed a humidifier in our new home. He was extremely professional and was done in a few hours. He left no mess and took the time to explain the controls and maintenance to us after he finished the installation. Kappler Mechanical was quick to provide a quote and flexible in getting us scheduled. We will absolutely be using them for future works and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and great customer service.

Outstanding company and service. We switched to ducted heat pump with a mini-split in the primary BR and a heat pump water heater. Elephant was excellent start to finish — great communication, smart people, seamless payment & rebate process, reliable scheduling, top notch installers, and we are very happy with the end results, which are a big improvement on even heating throughout. We haven’t seen sub-zero temps yet but we are confident the system will handle them well. Very highly recommended!

We had a great experience replacing our faltering gas water heater with a heat pump water heater. The electrical was more complicated than initially anticipated thanks to some quirks of our home, but our electrician was creative, thorough, and got the job done. The duo that installed our water heater were just as excellent. What really stands out, though, is that we locked in our price a few days before the city of Denver abruptly ended their electrification rebate. However, we didn't find out that happened until a few weeks ago because Elephant ate the lost rebate in excess of $2000 and they kept quiet about it for months. We are so appreciative of their professionalism and for not leaving us holding the bag. Eventually, we'll have to replace our HVAC and when that happens we'll go with Elephant.
