These guys did a clean job with their work, were pleasant to have on the premises and finished our job quickly. We’re looking forward to much use of this beautiful deck. New front porch deck. Completed in about 4 days by expert crew: James, Nick, and Seth. The process was professional, including requirements meetings and estimates with Andrew, great communication with Project Manager Richard, front office staff and cost information from Miguel. We were informed of how the process works and what to expect. The crew built to specification from us with little interaction needed. We didn’t need to be home for them to make good progress. Result was excellent.

Our house underwent a total outside makeover and Krueger Brothers did a fantastic job. Hats off to the crew: Jr., James, Phil, Jacob, Tex & Daniel. They, along with some other specialists transformed our house from rather dull to a real delight. Thanks so much! We would certainly recommend them to anyone.

The team did an outstanding job turning my vision into reality. They worked closely with the other contractors to deliver on time and on budget. The foreman (Aaron) and PM (Jeremiah) were always very communicative, easy to reach, and quick to respond.

In my opinion,
Awesome experience until I paid a deposit... As soon as the deposit was collected, Krugger tried to write a change order before the first board was removed. then delays started and project took almost a year. (not the 90 days talked about before deposit) Horrible communication and incompetence to the point where I had to keep a list of what was next and communicate out to Krugger to try to get the project finished.

Edit: Talked to Krugger today 10-6-25 and after thinking about my first review, I wish there was a zero star rating. So bad of a company and apparently the only way for Krugger to respond is to write a bad review. Not taking it down Krugger . Not for the price u charged. People should know they are not getting good service for the price they are paying.

Great salesman, but everything after the fact was awful. Was told at signing that work would start 4-6 weeks out, and at 8 weeks they said it would be another 3+ months. I escalated until they finally said they could make it work.

Work was okay, but not nearly as detail oriented as I'd expect, given the premium price associated with their bid. Simple things like columns way off center from poured concrete footers (one was hanging OFF the footer - I made them redo that one).

A year later, we had some staining on a few of the deck boards. This was most likely from some unrelated painting we had done, and I reached out for a quote. The rep came and confirmed it was a simple job, 2-3 hours max for a single rep.

More than 2 weeks later and I still haven't heard back from KBC. I called 3-4 times in a week requesting a call back, and never got anything until finally an email. Their "unofficial estimate" was $4,200 stating it would take 2 men 2 full days to replace the boards.

Mind you, the boards are on the end, the job couldn't be simpler. Why the disconnect between their field man and office? My best guess is they're price gauging because they either don't want the work, or think the painters will cover the cost. Either way, super shady.

I talked to 2 other decking companies out of curiosity, both were 75% cheaper than KBC's estimate, and one even said they would have "goodwilled" the labor to me, only charging for materials, because it was such a simple repair so close to the completion of a larger project.

For the record I still never received a call, as requested, from Angela. I would stay away from Krueger Brothers because it seems once they have your initial deposit they stop caring about you, and no care is given to customer satisfaction or loyalty.

Attached are the photos of the very lightly stained boards, 4 in total, that we were interested in replacing. $4200 and 32+ man hours for that LOL

Krueger Brothers extended our deck and covered the deck. Andrew gave us a detailed and accurate bid and was there for us throughout the whole project. As project manager, Josh was open to our ideas and ensured we got the exact covered deck that we wanted. Tex, Jason, Ricky and Daniel did outstanding work were very friendly and were always there to entertain my many questions. We are thrilled with how the deck turned out. We have already referred two neighbors to Krueger Brothers.

I want to let KB (Krueger Brothers) Construction know just how happy I am with my new covered patio deck. I look forward to showing it off, all summer long; especially when I have family and friends over for BBQ's. I worked with Danielle and Crew 4 throughout the project. Danielle put together several design renderings which made it much easier for me to visualize. Crew 4 fabricated these plans to my satisfaction; including a couple of revisions. Thanks Fabian. Everything was communicated with us throughout the entire process and they done a professional job. They were easy to talk with and explain things we weren’t familiar with. The tear down went smoothly as well as construction and cleanup. We were very happy with Krueger Brothers and would highly recommend them.

My wife and I just moved to Colorado Springs, bought our house, and needed to get our deck redone because it was unsafe. After looking at multiple reviews, we decided to go with Krueger Brothers Construction. I will break down this review into three parts pre-construction, during, and post-construction.

Pre-construction- In Sep 2021, my wife and I ultimately decided to go with KB due to the fantastic reviews. They were very punctual and delivered a personally built booklet of our deck. Everything seemed to flow right, and our consultant told us that the project could be started in November 2021. After breaking down the numbers and rejecting multiple competitors, we decided to sign with KB. Our consultant told us that the KB team would reach out to keep us updated and even had us download an app to keep us updated. October came and went, and we did not get an update. November finally arrived, and I was updated that the job was pushed to Feb2022 after a team of 6 people came out to take measurements. I was introduced to our project manager and other people with different titles. Finally, after calling and inquiring about updates, KB informed me that the project got pushed up to late Jan22. Through this process, communication was not constant. If I had not kept calling, the project would have been delayed another month. In the pre-construction phase, I would give KB 2/5 stars due to the communication.

Construction Phase- The workers where on it. They were so professional, prompt, and communicated with us throughout this process. This project contract was signed 04Oct21, but supplies were still delayed after being told all were at the KB warehouse. The workers still continued and took approximately seven days to complete my deck. I had concerns about siding gaps left after the deck was built, and eventually, the project manager had them filled. On day six, the workers came out for half a day but could not finish. This led over the weekend, and we had to wait until the following week to get our railings completed. The construction leader informed us that he let the lead manager know about needing an extra day, but his concerns were ignored. Monday came, and no one showed up. I called our project manager and he informed me that he sent his workers to another job site and couldn’t complete our job for another week. I informed our project manager that this was unacceptable and I needed our rails to be complete due to having small children and pets. Someone came out the next day to finish the job. I am still waiting for a final walkthrough of the project. The workers did amazing and would rate them 5/5 stars, and for the administration part, I would rate 1/5 stars. Again, communication lacking and not putting the current project at a high priority made it seem like KB was just pushing to start other jobs.

Post-construction- I have not had a phone call to conduct a final walkthrough of the project and time to bring up concerns of the deck. Overall, this was a 53K$ job, and my wife and I feel like our time was not respected. Communicating updates, mismanagement of supplies, missed deadlines, and lack of manager presence made this job last longer than it had to. I believe that Matthew and Michael started a great company, but the administration process is cumbersome and very bureaucratic.

We contracted with Krueger Brothers for a deck project we wanted to pursue. After reaching out to numerous companies in the area for bids, KBros quickly became our first choice. Most other contractors were quick to tell us that what we wanted was too difficult, or told us that our project wasn’t “big” enough for them to take on (i.e.: that they only do uber fancy high dollar decks). We simply wanted to have a deck built on the back of our home, and have a door added leading from our 2nd story out onto the deck.

From our first consultation meeting, KBros was professional, communicative, honest and committed to expertly giving us exactly what we wanted. They were patient with our decision-making process and answered all our million questions to make sure we felt confident about things. The work itself was done over about a week and the crew was incredibly unobtrusive, professional and exacting in their quality of work. We are so happy with the result and with every step of the process -- we absolutely got our money’s worth. If you’re looking for a contractor for your project, look NO further!

We are extremely happy with our new deck and pergola! Aside from some supply issues/delays, the whole process from Danielle getting the ball rolling, Scott organizing and coordinating, and the crew of Fabian, Brett, Candelario, and Jason was just great! All were friendly and very professional. Any small issue that came up was promptly addressed and taken care of without hesitation. We will definitely come back to these guys if we have other projects in the future. Just a great company to work with!

After receiving bids from multiple companies, I selected Krueger Brothers to tear down an existing deck and build a new one. I could not be more pleased. The experience started with Andrew coming out and working with me to understand my needs, and then to design the deck. He was great in going over everything and helping us select the right products.

As we got closer to build time, Andrew brought out Brad the project manager and a team of folks to map out a detailed design.

When the project started, we met Tex, Jason and Ronnie and the three of them set off working. The guys were not only professional and friendly, but I really enjoyed being around them - all three of them were great in answering all my questions, which I really appreciate!

The last day, while Tex was gone, Aromond joined the team and helped wrap things up.

My wife and I are so very pleased with the deck, and our family and friends love it as well.

This company did a beautiful job installing our deck a few years ago. They were always on time, polite, and cleaned up everything when finished. However, when they removed our outdoor stereo speakers and drilled into the stucco, our speaker wiring was accidentally damaged. We didn’t realize it right away and spent two years trying to figure out what went wrong, after one speaker would not work. After having repairmen look at it, we learned it couldn’t be fixed without rewiring the entire house. So, while their work on the deck was excellent, I’d advise caution if they need to remove or drill into areas that might have wiring behind them.

We could not be more pleased with the work Krueger Brothers did on our home. James, Jeremy and Jesse are skilled and dedicated construction pros who built two decks, each being over twelve feet off the ground and on steep terrain. They were more than up to the challenge. The outcome was both beautiful and will last a lifetime. The cost was competitive. The quality above standards. The satisfaction beyond expectation. Thank you to the entire Krueger Brothers staff for a job well done from beginning to end. We have already recommended them to a number of neighbors for future work. After shopping five of the local roofing companies, we went with Krueger Brothers Construction to replace our roof. We liked their products, their attention to detail, the owner came out and gave us our estimate, and they could also replace a bunch of our damaged siding at the same time as doing our roof. We wanted to get it all done at once and not use two separate companies. I highly recommend these guys for any construction, remodeling, roofing or siding replacement job you have. We couldn't be happier with our new roof and new siding. Our insurance company gave us a substantial discount with installing Class 4 shingles which saves us quite a bit of money. Great job Krueger Brothers-- A+ work!! We will use them again for sure!

We are very happy with the deck that Krueger Brothers built for us. Our old deck needed to be replaced and Krueger Brothers was able to build us a new deck that was very challenging given our location. The crew (Richard, Ronnie, Ricky, Austin, Chris and Semji) were very professional. They were always willing to answer my questions, showed up every day once the deck was started and never left a mess after the days work was done. They even replaced some of the rotted siding that was on my house and made the replacement look like the original. I would hire them again.

They replaces our old front and back decks. I love the material and the work they did it was amazing. Easy to work with and very respectful of our needs.
