We live in a rental and the landlord had a humidifier replaced in the spring of 2011. Unfortunately, HVAC Solutions did not install the drain line properly for two reasons. First, they didn't allow enough slack as it was wrapped around the plenum, so it crimped over time. Second, they did not route the drain line so it gravity fed properly. At a low humidity setting it worked fine. However, when we turned up the humidity to higher level the humidifier did not drain fast enough. As a result it backed up and partially flooded the mechanical room. Fortunately, we caught it before it caused too much damage. I personally checked the drain line and it was NOT clogged. It backed up was due to the two reasons I stated earlier. The technician came to the house (Jan 2013) and CONFIRMED my diagnosis. He agreed that the line was NOT clogged, but needed to re-routed to avoid the kink and allow it to gravity feed properly to the floor drain. This was obviously an initial installation problem.

The landlord told me he was charged for the service call. I personally contacted the manager because I thought this was totally unfair. The manager told me the line had clogged due to sentiment, which caused the flooding. I told him this was not the case and stated the reasons above, which were CONFIRMED by the technician. He disagreed with me, but told me he would speak to the owner. He called me back and let me know that they would not reimburse our landlord for the service because the line was clogged.

Wow! This REALLY surprised me, since the technician saw that the drain line was NOT clogged! I was with the technician when he corrected the problem. Again, he verbalized that the drain was NOT clogged. Since he rerouted the drain line, the humidifier has worked fine. This to me is an integrity issue and a total disregard for customer service. Therefore, I rated them as one star and WOULD NOT recommend this HVAC company to anyone.

Had a wonderful experience with HVAC solutions. They were cleanand professional. They answered all my questions, got my furnace and ac installed in less than the time they said they would. I would highly reccomend to anyone!

I had these guys out when my AC stopped working. The person I spoke with over the phone was friendly and helpful and was able to get a technician to my house that day! The technician arrived in a timely manner, was able to diagnose and fix the problem. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing work done on a furnace or AC unit!

Outstanding service. Chris J. Showed up to repair a leak and refill the system. Outside of the cost of the coolant, the labor fees were very fair and reasonable. Chris even combed the fins on the condenser unit while he waited for the system to fill. The system runs great now! Thanks a lot guys, I’ll be recommending you to family and friends.

We have been a member of HVAC solution's service plan-- where they come out every winter and spring to ensure our systems are working properly. For the last 3 years we have had issues with our AC freezing when we turn it on-regardless of HVAC saying it's fine upon our yearly inspection. Over the last 3 years we have spent over 2k on top of our maintenance plans trying to get this fixed. They have sent out tech telling us "everything is fine"
Or "it's fixed" only for it to freeze the first time it comes on in the summer. The last visit was the final straw-- $700 bill for 2 techs to come out, at $145 an hour, to fix a problem that should have been fixed 3 years ago. We paid the bill, but I would never recommend their services or their service plans. It's a joke. They just keep sending techs that never fix the problem and keep charging more.

Been using HVAC Solutions for many, many years (about 16 I believe) for my furnance and A/C. . Always efficient, on time, knowledgeable, honest, thorough, explains everything, and just the best Heating and A/C business in town. Kudos and thanks to Johnny today for another through and complete service on my furnance.

The 2 man crew completed all the work on time and left my home in clean condition. They were friendly to my rescue dog too! They arrived on time, were efficient in their installation and informative. I appreciate their professionalism and couldn't have asked for better service!

I had a vry good experience with HVAC solutions. They fix all furnaces and are a Lennox premier dealer.
They came over to my house for an intermittent problem with my furnace.
They kept coming back ( only charged me the 1st service call ) until they could be here when I was having the problem.Once they found it they replaced a main valve promptly and with a very reasonable price. That fixed it and it works great now. Thank you to Jim the tech and Natasa the receptionist and the manager Dave? the manger for all doing agreat job to help me.
Will use them and recommend them again.

Outstanding. We have had HVAC Solutions come to our business to assist us with our HVAC units. 2 of the Units are 41 years old! They diagnosed the problems (one of which is old units), supplied us with alternatives and assisted us. I am not one to speak about pricing. To some "cheap" is what they want and then will complain about receiving bad results. I believe in value and that is what I have received from the tech's who came to our facility. With 3 units that went out all at the same time, they were expediate, kind, and knowledgeable about how to fix the problem at professional rates. We appreciate them and will utilize them again.

HVAC Solutions replaced a thermostat at my business and charged a small fortune. It took a week for them to order the right thermostat and install it. Two months later, the thermostat stopped working. When we called for a warranty replacement, the "Service Manager" said they will no longer service our business because "things always break" (isn't that what business you're in, to fix stuff?!?). When I asked to speak with the Service Manager, he was unavailable, and finally after threatening them with lawsuit, they sent a repair specialist. The repair specialist said a breaker was popped and to call an electrician.

The electrician said the breaker was fine. We called another HVAC repair company and they fixed everything HVAC Solutions could not repair.

If you're reading this and still debating on using HVAC Solutions -- DON'T! Save yourself the frustration and find another company. This company needs to find another Service Manager who will train a better staff and communicate with customers.

I didn’t know that much about furnaces until the guys from HVAC Solutions installed a new Lenex unit in our house. The time they took to explain how it functions and how to keep it efficient was extremely helpful but want impressed me most was when the PPRB Inspector ask me who did the install?

When I told him HVAC Solutions, his response was, “They always go above and beyond what’s expected “. He further showed me how well they layered the mounts and secured attachments. He also said, “this is top commercial grade work in a residential home. You don’t see that with many jobs I inspect for final approval.”

HVAC Solutions came out and removed a 15 year old attic A/C system that had failed and leaked into the ceiling. When the work was completed they lowered the price as it took less time than originally expected. I don't know many companies that would do that. Very pleased with the professional work and cleanliness. I highly recommend them, not something I can do very often.

The service professionals always take great care in your home, wearing booties to not track dirt and take all trash items with them. This is an excellent company started by J.D. Steward, an award winning contractor in our area for many years. Highly recommend this company!

12 years ago we selected HVAC Solutions to install our AC unit in our newly constructed home. I was concerned I didn't go with the builder on the AC unit but the price through the builder was exorbitant. We financed the unit through a third party that HVAC Solutions sales person brought to the table and our terms were 1 year same as cash. We paid off the unit in a year and there were NO fees or interest. Fantastic financing package. The install by the HVAC Solutions team along with the electrician they contracted with had the unit in and running in under 4 hours. Wow, and not a sloppy job at all. Very uptight install and completed cleaned up after themselves (no wire snipping in the rocks outside or sloppy work in the circuit breaker board). The unit has worked great without an issue for 10 years. After making the mistake last year of having another company come out and service the unit, we had an issue with a new "board" installed and less than a year later it was out again. We called HVAC Solutions this time and Sean came out and diagnosed the problem, the reason for the problem, went over the overall health of our furnace, blower and AC unit, and fixed our problem at a great price. Thanks HVAC SOLUTIONS. We will recommend you 7 days a week and twice on Sundays.

I needed a new whole home / central humidifier installed because my old one kicked the bucket. I'm in the local construction industry and know that HVAC Solutions does great work on our commercial projects. I was really happy to hear they did residential projects as well. Jason came out to view my system and walked me through all the options explaining the pros and cons of each. We settled on one that was affordable and easy to maintain. He gave me a quote and we scheduled the install. Sean and another guy came out and did the install. They arrived early, wore booties, had all the correct parts, kept the area clean and tidy and had it installed very quickly. They walked me through how to maintain the new humidifier and where to get filters. Super professional, high quality install. Highly recommend.

We have used HVAC Solutions for our annual inspection and maintenance on our HVAC system since moving here 11 years ago. This year it was time to get a new heating system, and later in the summer when we could afford it, get A/C installed as well. Jason came to our home, looked at our existing system, took measurements and gave us our options promptly. They performed the install on time for both units. Both units also require an outside inspection post install, and the inspector had minor issues that needed addressing; they scheduled dates to perform these repairs very promptly and the follow-up inspection was approved. I highly recommend them and would use them again.
