Wow! That’s all I have to say. Chris with Fountain Valley Mechanical was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He saved the day during the hottest week of the year so far. My A/C went out and after a quick diagnosis, he replaced the Capacitor for my A/C unit. He was in and out in less than a half hour. Fountain Valley Mechanical and their customers are lucky to have Chris! I hope I don’t have another HVAC issue in the near future but if I have to call, my first call will be to Fountain Valley Mechanical!

I had Fountain Valley Mechanical come out today (for the third year) to service my Air Conditioner, and I had another fantastic experience, using this company's services. The owner Matt, is outstanding. He came out initially, when the company I had been using, kept giving me horrible service and shoddy work and after 12 "service" appointments, the former company I had used still could not fix my AC. Matt fixed the issue within 10 minutes, and then proceeded to give my entire system a full inspection and cleaning. I was hooked. Everytime Fountain Valley Mechanical has been here I have had a very positive experience. Today was no exception. The technician who came out, Robert, was polite, professional, (he even came wearing a filtered Mask) and was extremely proficient and explained everything very clearly. He was also very thorough, (even though it took a little extra time,) he did detailed work and it was truly worth the time, and I was actually able to see excellent results! I wish I would have known about Fountain Valley Mechanical years ago, because this Company and ALL of their personnel are very good, hard working people, and that was definitely proven again today, Robert was a true professional and is a definite asset to FVM! They are such an amazing team, that I signed a three year service agreement,, and hope to have them around many, many years WITH the current owner and staff, as they are the "magic," that makes this such a wonderful Company! Thank you, MATT, for saving me from two terribly knowledgeable and money hungry companies and making me feel like a part of your family! Believe me when I say, I recommend everyone I know (and some I don't) to your wonderful company! Thanks again for ALWAYS going above and beyond for myself, as well as your other customers!

Fountain Valley Mechanical just installed a Trane central A.C. system in my house and I couldn't be more satisfied with the total experience from start to finish. We finally were able to get rid of our two swamp coolers on the roof and put in the Trane system we have been wanting for years !
They were very easy to contact, and scheduled me quickly. Furthermore they showed up when they said that they would. Matt was a pleasure to do business with.

I purchased a furnace & A/C unit 2 yrs ago and was very pleased !
Not only was my experience really great but the owner himself was very professional whenever he came to evaluate my home and the price was very affordable!
Before, I contacted Fountain Valley Mechanical I got two other estimates from Smith's and One Source, their prices were ridiculously expensive and a rip off because the workers work for a commission.
I was very blessed to find a very honest business like Fountain Valley Mechanical and I have never regretted my purchase. I continued to use their services for my summer & fall check ups/maintenance on my equipment and their prices are very affordable!

So, if you DON'T want the run around, want affordable quotes, fair prices & good equipment...I truly recommend this business!

Chirs arrived right in the window, cleaned up the furnace explained everything that was cleaned and checked. He was professional, nice and thorough.

Overall great experience!! Austin was my tech and I can't say enough good things about him. Professional, friendly and incredibly knowledgable while also taking the time to educate me, as I'm a new home owner and still learning. Service on our water heater was done quickly and concisely at a very reasonable price. Will absolutely be going back to Fountain Valley Mechanical in the future!

If you need HVAC work, talk to this company. A general contractor referred me to Fountain Valley Mechanical in 2000 and they've been my go-to ever since. Everyone from the receptionist to the owner is friendly, professional, honest and efficient. They take the time to understand the customer's needs and to offer sound advice and appropriate solutions. I'm a comparison-shopper and I say with experience that this company charges a fair price even during peak demand when others will try to oversell or overcharge you. Strongly recommended!

Passing along a review from my Dad. Great service and very empathetic to my parents when at their house. My dad put in the battery backwards, and they still checked over the system.

Been using yhem for years to do furnace maintenance and always happy. This year, Chris found a small gas leak and corrected it, even after CSU was unable to find it.

I would give more than 5 stars if possible. I had a problem with my A/C leaking because of excessive condensation. I called WireNut first and they quoted me $2,400. I then called Fountain Valley Mechanical for a second opinion and they sent Tim over 20 minutes later. Tim looked at the A/C, showed me how to drain the excess water with a shop vac, and then serviced both the A/C and furnace. Whole thing cost $110 dollars.

9/08/25 We have been using them for years now. Always very friendly, polite, prompt, clean and thorough.
We're good to go for this winter. Tim was excellent. Thank you FVM!!
