It's not always easy to find a company that will respond to correspondence AND show up to do a job! I started noticing a leak with my 14 yo water heater. I contacted S&J for two reasons: they are local and the good reviews. Tyler showed up on time. Friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I was hoping the water heater could be saved until spring, but... Tyler was able to coordinate getting it replaced within a few hours. That included having to get a second new one since the first was too tall for the space (silly old log cabins). The only reason this isn't a 5 star, is that I'm waiting for some electrical to still be completed for the job. The water heater works great and will use this company in the future.

Our water heater started leaking from the bottom the evening prior. We called Sanders & Johnson, got connected to a receptionist immediately, and was scheduled a visit with Tyler the very next morning. Upon inspection, he recommended a replacement unit - that came with a drain pan, new copper lines and fittings, new vent piping. Tyler and his associate, Nathan, were clear, informative, and professional. The installation was clean and tidy; they wore booties inside the house when they needed to vent the faucets. Thank you for such responsive, prompt service!

Sanders & Johnson have been our go to for all HVAC and plumbing. We bought a house with an old water heater and they prices a few options for replacement. They have also performed annual maintenance on our furnace and A/C. They are always on time and very professional. Any items needing attention are explained in detail and repair pricing is totally transparent. Josh has been out to our house twice and he is GREAT! 2025 update at our new house - Ian and Reza helped us fix some issues left by the previous owner. They were able to complete everything in a timely manner as we expected. Great quality and value! And more! Noah and Kobe replaced our hot water heater on a day’s notice after it stopped warming properly. They were super nice on got the job done quickly and cleanly!

Saunders and Johnson has been amazing. Tyler came by to help determine where my tankless was leaking and nothing turned up the first time. When it started to leak again, they waved the fee. Tyler was diligent and found the origin of the issue. He talked me through retracing where the water was coming from with a camera, provided me with a detailed report and several options for repair vs replace. Everything was high quality and I’d recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommend Sanders & Johnson! Over the years since we bought our home, we’ve tried many HVAC companies and finally found S&J. They are super professionals. If you have an emergency, they get someone out same day. If it’s preventative maintenance, they’re efficient and thorough. Prices are fair.
We only had an issue once with a tech forgetting a portion of our repair and Sanders & Johnson was quick to make it right once I noticed.
They have earned our business for as long as we live in Colorado!

We appreciate Zabih for his help plumbing in a new shower valve and replacing our old fixtures. He has a gentle nature, communicates clearly and performs excellent prompt service. We would definitely recommend him.

Good price, excellent service and professional attitude. They replaced ~110’ of sewer line in one day in poor weather conditions. Followed up with inspection and relocated line to prevent from having to remove any trees. The tech Zabih kept me informed. The crew was courteous and had minimal interruptions to the sewer access.
Highly recommend this company.

If you want something fixed quickly, don't call these guys.

Lied to me to get me onboard, promised ton of work, totally inadequate shop, Woody and his son are the shot callers, and they are clueless. Gary and the service guy are equally inept. Avoid these clowns.....

Over charged, charged extra hour on bill for "drive time" when their shop is located less than a mile from job site. Also tried to sell me on a thermostat for an hour then charged me for that hour. That's two hours of non work time that i was charged at $95 an hour.

Other reviews mentioned they aren't quick to respond, but based on their van on I25 and 225 this morning, I can't imagine they're ever late for a job. Cut over at the last second, then going well above the speed limit. Hope their regular work is done with more attention and control.

CMI Mechanical offers some of the best service in the industry. They are fast to respond, reliable in their work, and very transparent in their pricing. Happy to have worked with them now and in the future.

Missing the mediocre HVAC service I terminated. CMI is unbelievably overpriced to the point of gouging. A three hour venting job turned into a $1200 fiasco. 90 minute damper check cost $500. I think Woody is on the way out in a blaze of glory using his reputation as a con. Sorry, that's just the hard truth. AVOID CMI.

NEVER SEEN SUCH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE Ever!!! Heather was extremely helpful by looking into finding me a technician on short notice, she called me approx 6x to make sure I knew the status of getting service today. She took the time to contact me after hours on her personal cell phone and everything! Then Kevin came in and was exceptional with fixing the AC and he was extremely educated on what needed to be done and was beyond super friendly. Thank You CMI Mechanical
