Technician came out to replace a broken water heater. He left the old unit to drain and said he was coming back to pick up. I’ve called numerous times to arrange for pick up and they have not responded. Very unprofessional and would not recommend. Company has no concept of customer service.

Justin came over to help us fix our sink. It has very little water pressure. He spent the afternoon checking everything to try to fix it but in the end determined it was our faucet. I ordered a new faucet and the day it arrived I called and was able to get Justin to come back out and replace the faucet and he did it quickly and efficiently and now we have the best water pressure and new faucet! I’m very happy with his work and attention to detail. We would hire again 10/10

Crown Home Services was called in by AHS and totally lied on his report. Had water damage under the floor due to a pipe leak that was running from the upstairs bathroom. It was not caught on the inspection report and the only way we found it was because we were redoing the flooring in the Laundry Room. He told me its a 50/50 chance that is would be covered because "I know how AHS works". Then my claim got denied. After 3 Months of prying the report out of AHS, we sent them the inspection report to where they disclosed what he said. His report noted that there was existing ceiling stains and the leak had been going on since a month before we even moved in the house??? How would he know that?? We proved that there was no way of knowing of this leak since it didn't come up during inspection, no ceiling stains and we moved in a month later after he said it had started. AHS finally sent another contractor out and is currently getting resolved. Seems like Crown Home Services has no work ethic, to me the guy just got a free pay check by doing nothing!

Disappointed with Lack of Transparency and Poor Follow-Up

I had Crown Home Services replace my hot water heater through my home warranty, and while the unit is technically working, the overall experience was frustrating and disappointing.

From the start, they were unclear about pricing. I wasn’t given an actual breakdown of charges until after the installation was complete. They quoted over $1,100 in non-covered fees to my home warranty provider for supposed code upgrades—many of which were not actually performed. Included in this a charged for $175 permit fee, but never followed up to schedule the required inspection.

Customer service was friendly at first, but became defensive and rude the moment we started questioning the charges and pointing out the work that hadn’t been done. We were specifically told we wouldn’t be charged until we had a chance to review and discuss the fees—this turned out to be false.

The technician who installed the unit didn’t communicate with us at all after the job was finished. He didn’t test the system with us, warn us to turn the water on slowly (which led to hot water blasting out of faucets due to trapped air), or even let us know he was done. He also mentioned they don’t install expansion tanks—only cheaper expansion valves that waste water and break down faster. When we asked if we could receive the tank that was originally quoted to the home warranty, they refused.

Overall, the experience left me feeling misled and dismissed. The lack of transparency, incomplete work, and poor customer care are enough for me to never use this company again—and I would strongly caution others to think twice before doing so.

Crown services always comes via our home warranty. Never had any issues with them
Fixing the problem. I will say one of the techs is not the friendliest, but Heather is great with helping every time!

Justin arrived early, worked quickly and solved our problem. He was professional and answered all my questions.

We used our home warranty service (2-10) when we needed this repair and had a great experience.

I would reach out to Crown Services if I have future needs even if we don't utilize the home warranty.

The overall review rating says evening for this business. We tried booking service for a leaking hose bib. When we booked for an outside problem they did not mention they would need access inside our house. As such, we mentioned we would not be home but something got missed between Heather and the service tech. During our appt window my wife received a call from an absolutely livid woman named Heather. After we calmed her down and rescheduled they ghosted us during our new appt window after we had someone wait there hours for them to never show. I would recommend you don’t use this provided as they’re extremely rude and the other reviews are evidence enough.

The only reason this gets 4 stars is because of the tech we have gotten twice - Justin Newsome. Our home warranty company connected us with this company and the customer service and other techs leave a lot to be desired…very unprofessional to the point of rude.

Justin however has helped us with two pipe issues - one clog and one leak and he is top tier. I highly recommend requesting him if you use this company.

Had a great experience today. Justin came on a holiday and was nothing but polite to myself and family. Checked every possibility for sewage smell and identified the issue in the shower. He fixed the issue and called to check in later in the day. Great service.

I would not recommend Crown Home Solutions based on my recent experience.

The technician sent to my home arrived smelling strongly of cigarettes, failed to locate the source of the issue, told me he was “too fat” to access the pipe, and incorrectly stated that I had 90 days to call back if it happened again — which was not true.

More concerning than the lack of resolution was the behavior from Heather who was less than helpful in helping me to resolve the issue. In fact, I had to hire another plumber who came out the next day and within 10 minutes located the sewer line cleanout and removed the blockage. The other technician said he couldn't get to the pipe due to his size but didn't even look for the cleanout that was in the front of the house and easily accessible.

Homeowners deserve professionalism, competence, and basic knowledge of how plumbing works — that was not my experience.

The crew excavated down 5 feet to repair a cracked 4" ductal cast iron main water line that had developed a severe water leak the day after Christmas 2022 with snow on the ground. This was a main line to a building with 6 townhome units. Due to gas lines, and other utility lines they had to hand dig trenches to locate the origin of the water leak. They were very diligent in their efforts, and went the extra mile to restore water to the units as quickly as possible. I highly recommend this company.
