Dylan and Josh did a great job! They replaced 3 thermostats and cleaned and checked my boiler for hot water heat in a multi-level home.

We are deeply disappointed with our experience with Mac Vik and feel it’s important to warn other customers. We had them install a new toilet and they did not install a flange. We didn’t know what a flange was and trusted them to do all that was needed when installing the toilet. Now we have water damage on our wood floor and had to replace ceiling tiles in our basement. When the mistake was discovered by another plumber, we called Mac Vik. We called three times over a period of a month before they would speak to us. The final dispatcher we spoke to looked up our record and said a flange should have been installed and literally said “that is why this plumber doesn’t work for us anymore.” He sent a plumber to our home, however we were told that Mac Vik was not going to do anything to address their mistake. Instead, we were given a $1200 estimate to install a flange. Shocking that they would treat customers this way.

Tech was not only very professional but also advocated for us extensively with the home warranty company to make sure we got our AC working same day and didn't have to wait longer. He sat on hold for over 45 minutes and when the home warranty company was saying they weren't going to be able to approve it, he fought to make sure it was. We were very appreciative. He has also very thorough and our AC started working right away.

Mac-Vik was responsive and able to get someone to my house pretty quickly. Unlike a lot of places, they didn't charge a service fee just to come give me an estimate (although no estimate given over the phone). Brian did great work, was on time and friendly. Check them out!

DO NOT USE!!!!!!! I called Mac Vik to clear a basic drain clog. They were unable to clear the clog, didn't send a person to follow up the next day as promised, and the result was a sewer backup that caused $40,000 of damage to my house. Drain Terrier was able to clear the clog no issue and came out on a Sunday to fix the issue (which Mac-Vik was unwilling to do after they had caused all the damage in the first place). Not only that but they wouldn't pay a dime to me to make it right, not taking responsibility for any part of it at all. I would avoid at all costs. BTW, the only reason they have so many reviews is because they literally HOUND people after service to provide reviews.

Update: Thanks for the feedback Tom, it's the first I've heard from you personally throughout this ordeal (the last month and a half), so I appreciate the response. Feel free to reach out to me directly to discuss, your team has had my contact information since early July, and I'm happy to discuss it with you. It's not surprising that the facts (as you lay them out) are disputed, but what I think your customers really need to know is that a plumber came out and cleared the drain no problem after your plumber couldn't, and that a pipe specialist came out to take a look at the pipe (said it didn't require replacement) and independently told me without me asking that your plumber dragging roots back through the line when he incorrectly cleared it most likely caused the backup into my kitchen. While that is frustrating to me, the follow up customer service is what is most problematic (i.e. I haven't talked to you once since a $40K kitchen loss). Again, I am happy to talk if you'd like to call me instead of putting all of the facts on this thread. Thanks, Amy

The Cypress was quick and professional. Maris and his partner showed up on time and we were very quick and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. He explained every step of the process and make sure that I was comfortable and understood everything that was going on. I would definitely recommend and will be calling them again for this from Cyrus. Thank you!

We purchased a older home and wanted to have the boiler looked over and to let us know what they thought. Marius showed up and explained things to me and the wife that made excellent sense. So now we know what we need to do.

Fernando was prompt and explained the issue with the roots in the sewer line. A quick clean out and the drain is working again. I have worked with Mac-Vik on several occasions and am always pleased with the service.

Marius was fantastic to work with, extremely knowledgable and competent and I felt full trust in his decisions and the work he and his crew at Mac-Vic did installing a new bolier and hot water system. Very skilled individual and very easy to work with!

Fernando was very professional. He cleared my drains of debris and showed me the results with his video camera. He explained a lot of things to me regarding drains. Very courteous and helpful. He worked hard to get the job done in good time.

Alan, Collin and team were so awesome. Professional, responsive, caring. Alan knew we were sticker-shocked after the estimate and called the next day to inform us of a discount mailer they had just sent out for our area. It saved us a bunch of money and really felt like he cared. Everyone at Mac-Vik took the time to explain things, help with financing, and the communication really is so far above and beyond. I love all the texts- especially the live location tracker and photos of crew members. They replaced my boiler quickly and from what I can tell, did an awesome job. Will absolutely hire them again for any future projects.

Camden and Mac-Vic did such a great job on our electrical work. He even took the time to explain how it all works. I would recommend Mac-Bic going forward.

Marius came out on a cold snowy day to check out the boiler for our hot water radiant heating. He was knowledgeable and was happy to help educate us in the system since we are new to boilers.

Hired to install new overhead light. Knew in advance a $189 service call charge, but could get no estimate in advance. Upon arrival they said it would take 1 hour to install. That hour for a journeyman electrician would be another $350. We cancelled the work.

A pleasant, knowledgeable young man. He knows his job and explained to me what was wrong. I would request Fernando again if there was another problem, and without hesitation.
