Cassidy was super friendly each time I spoke with her at the office. Tyler came out to look at our very old A/C unit. He was also very nice, professional (even when he encountered a hornet’s nest in our compressor), and knowledgeable. He inspected our air conditioner and gave us some recommendations, as well as some good info for when we do need to replace our unit. Will definitely contact them again when our unit dies need to be replaced (likely within the year).

Just wanted to say that Simply Mechanical did and excellent job on our 12 zone boiler system that need all valves changed and system reprofiled/built. excelent customer service, followup, communication etc. The gentleman I worked with there on the actual job named John was a pleasure to interact with and clearly an expert. After many challenging and mostly negative experiences with HVAC companies using shady tactics to “upsell”, a friend turned me in to Simply Mechanical. Wow, what a difference it makes to have a company that actually cares about you, not what they can sell you. Yes, eventually they may need to sell me something, but they don’t push that. The staff are always amazing, and put up with all of my questions and abundant curiosity, not with condescending compliance, but with genuine conversation. I was quoted an $89 service/diagnostic fee when scheduling the visit. After the technician completed the assessment, I was charged $197 instead, with no clear explanation beforehand or approval for the higher amount.

The recommended solution was a full furnace replacement quoted at $7,900, which seemed extremely inflated compared to market pricing for the same equipment. Even more concerning, the invoice consisted of a single vague line item and automatically applied a $1,000 “discount”, which felt more like a sales tactic than a legitimate price reduction.

There was no detailed breakdown of labor, parts, or justification for the cost, making it difficult to understand or trust the pricing. Transparency and upfront pricing are critical when dealing with major home repairs, and unfortunately that was lacking here
