First off I will say that Jake the technician that did the work at my house was top notch. He communicated clearly with me when he would be there, what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. Besides not putting silicone around the piping to the outside of my house his work was great. He did let me know about the silicone and he didn't have any. I told him I could put some on it was no problem. Kudos to Jake for his customer service and work!

The major issue that drove my rating was the bait and switch situation that happened and the offensive nature of Bill the owner. I read other reviews after my experience and Gman David had a very similar sentiment to mine so it doesn't seem to be unfounded. I chose this company to do some repair work on my house under a pretense of reasonable costs. They told me they were not able to give me a quote for a sump pump over the phone but then when Jake arrived I found out they had a standard cost for a sump pump. Had a I known that cost upfront I would have never used these guys but at that point they had done other work at my house and I was pretty much stuck. Bill didn't care at all about this and was very rude and argumentative on the phone and then hung up on me.

As Gman David and others have said there are far too many plumbing, heating and air companies in Northern Colorado to choose from. I would personally recommend staying away from these guys.

My dishwasher was not draining and I called an appliance repair company to come fix the issue. The technician found the problem to be in the plumbing and let me know that I would need to call a plumber to resolve the issue. I called Good Guys, Bill was at my home and had the problem fixed within a number of minutes. He was in the neighborhood for other work and declined to charge me because it had only taken him a few minutes of his time. As you can imagine, I will thrilled not to have to pay a second repair cost and will absolutely use them in the future. That kind of service builds loyalty!

Jake from Good Guys is truly amazing! He saved us big time with a leak we had in our ceiling. Efficient hardworking guy, total professional. I am amazed at the high quality repair and more than fair pricing. I really appreciate the hard work and high quality expertise.

After traveling for 10 days, we came home to find our water heater leaking, causing a decent amount of flooding into our crawl space and laundry room. We called Good Guys to come out (hoping same day) and they fit us into their schedule and we’re out a few hours later. After realizing we needed a new water heater, Rob got us taken care of and spent hours in and out of the house to get it knocked out!! With New Years Eve and holiday closures, we forsure thought we would be days until we could get on the schedule.... but not with Good Guys. It feels great to know we can call them and Rob will always treat us like family. Thank you for making these tough moments as first homeowners a piece of cake! :)

Warning! Very high prices! Not "good guys" at all! I called the company to unclog my kitchen sink. They wanted to charge me over $300.00 to do this ($312.00, to be exact). When I called the owner to inquire, they explained that their pricing (about twice as much as it usually is) was right in line with the two priciest companies in town (as if this is a good thing), and that their technician had holes in his boots and couldn't afford new ones because he's so poorly paid (the technician was very nice, by the way). They also said that the gas for the trip over to my house would "barely be covered" by the $40.00 they got out of me for a trip charge. They also said other plumbing companies don't stand behind their work, and Good Guys is the only company that does. The owner refused to work with me on price. I explained that he should inform people who have simple household clogs that they're going to be charged an arm and a leg before they send someone out (of course, they can never tell you anything about pricing before they come out--they probably make most of their money from the old trip charge scam). I told him to pay his technician enough to afford new boots (what a Scrooge!), and I congratulated him for suckering me. 'Tis the season, I guess.

I had my furnace go out in the middle of the night. Called Home Advisor and the gave me a list of furnace companies in my area. I called Good Guys and they were able to come out the same day and get my furnace up and running. Jacob was awesome! He explained what happened and gave me my options. He was able to find the part needed to fix it but in the future when we replace I will give them a call again.

I really wanted to like these guys. We got a new furnace and AC with them. The install guys left a mess in our crawl space and their sloppy work on pipes dripped pipe primer on our gear we had stored there which we specifically said we could move. Then HVAC leaked water all through our crawl space. They were very responsive on the customer service issues, and came out to fix things. Now going to replace the filter we find they caulked over where you access the filter. Just feel like they sent super inexperienced guys to install what was a large investment for us.

Highly recommended! Professional and friendly with quality work. We had a steam humidifier and whole home air filtration system installed in our house, as well as some gas line work. The work was done efficiently with highly skilled team members. If you want the job done right the first time, call this company! We won't use anyone else!

I highly recommend Good Guys Plumbing Heating and Air. I am always so nervous when calling service companies and never know who I can trust. I was referred to these guys by my neighbor who also spoke very highly of them. They really are the "good guys"! They were up front about the cost, very clean, courteous, and knowledgeable. They are very honest and I knew I could trust them. I will always call Good Guys!

Good Guys were referred to me by a client of mine, and I was pleasantly introduced to Bill, their service tech. He was professional, on time and honest. I unfortunately ended up needing a new furnace, and my experience from start to finish was great. They were more than happy to answer my plethora of questions and helped me make an informed decision. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again in the future.

I had a very tricky plumbing situation as a previous home owner did a questionable DIY shower install. As it was such a large job to remedy the problem, I ended up going to four different companies to get a quote to be sure. Good Guys Home Services gave me a very fair price and explained their approach in perfect detail, which I highly appreciate! I felt like I was in good hands. I was on a bit of a time crunch and they scheduled me in to accommodate. The project went very smoothly and they made sure everything was to code. They even knocked down the price a bit as it turned out that a certain step was no longer necessary. Very honest company! The only unfortunate thing is I will be moving away and won't get to use their services again!! I highly recommend this company.

Called Good Guys about our heat pump not turning on. They had Matt come over within a day! Turns out it was a bad capacitor AND under warranty! Problem solved in under 10 minutes. Totally blown away! Every time we call them, they are prompt and get the job done! Can’t recommend them more highly!! Good Guys really are Good Guys!!!

Our home is so much more comfortable with the new central ac and heater that Good Guys recently installed. They came in and did a great job taking out the old system and installing the new. They were so considerate and professional while working in our home.
They took the time to program and teach us how to use the new thermostat and so kindly told us to call with any questions.

We had Matt at Good Guys Home Service install an Amana heat pump with a high efficiency gas furnace as a back up. Matt clearly explained the choices we had and spent time working with us to make decisions. The installation was excellent and very carefully done. Communication with the company was clear, notifications were sent before arrival and he was on time. We are very pleased.

I found the owners and employees to be very trustworthy, honorable, and dependable. I would highly recommend them.
