Plumbing reviews in Northglenn, Colorado

I had an issue with my bathroom drains backing up, I had called another company who told me a technician would be to me in about 2 hours, 5 hours later they still didn't have a technician on the way, so I reached out to 911 Rooter and they had a technician out in under an hour. The technician assigned to me was Jose, and he was awesome, he found where the issue was in the sewer line quickly and was able to give me a quote to have the work done right then. Replacement to any portion of a sewer line is never cheap, and this repair certainly wasn't, but given the circumstances of needing to get it done asap I believe I was charged a fair price. Jose got to work, he worked from about 11pm to 7:30am, and completed the replacement, he was able to show me before and after videos of the sewer scope camera so I feel confident that the repairs were done in a quality manner. I could tell Jose really cared about the quality of his work and that meant a lot to me. I will absolutely recommend 911 Rooter and Jose. Thanks!

We had a mainline back up at 9pm, called the # we got off Google for 911 rooter. Thomas and helper showed up around 11pm and knocked it right out. The previous owners had a handyman job done when installing the toilet so Thomas gave us a quote to fix it that was definitely more than fair. Showed up the next afternoon to do the work to install our toilet the correct way it should had been done first time and he showed up with a free toilet. Will definitely be using 911 rooter any time we have the need. Definitely offering professional, quality work for a great price. Thanks again!

Called to investigate the propane gas leak on my range, showed up without a gas sniffer, disassembled fittings and quoted me $886 to simply re-assemble the fittings (2 wrenches twisted on 4 fittings). I had them stop work and leave it dis-assembled, paid them $206 for their time and instead engaged a qualified appliance repair tech familiar with gas fittings. I ended up paying this other company $186 to re-assemble, fully leak test and guarantee their work. In short, could have saved $700 by calling someone else in the first place.

$1450 vs. $400. Three stars isn't Excellent, and it isn't Great -
but it's Good and that's what this service deserves. I had a leak in my basement, discovered at about 7:00pm, and it was quickly getting urgent. These folks answered the phone quickly, communicated that I would pay a $150 service fee regardless of any work getting done. The plumber showed up within an hour and was polite and professional. He told me the price would be $1300 more. I was hostage to a potential crisis so I accepted the bid and paid.
He was here for less than two hours and got the leak fixed. I called my local plumber the next day who said it would have cost $400 normally. So 3 stars for quick service, but only 3 stars because I think they charge way too much.
This morning, the valve the plumber used to drain my pipes has a leak, and as as a result. I was told the rate would be $485 to fix it! So now I have my local plumber out here for $200.
This review is to warn you... they're really really expensive. But I'm the one that agreed to the price. So 3 Stars (good) is fair. -
Last weekend (1/13/24) during the deep freeze our pipes in our new build townhome froze. I called around to different plumbers and none were helpful until I called 911 Rooter. Angela answered my call and was so kind and informative. She went above and beyond to get us an appointment first thing the next morning. Seth was the technician and he was skillful and professional. He even discovered that the pipes had been installed incorrectly, likely causing them to freeze. Because of him we were able to get our pipes fixed under warranty with the builder. I can’t recommend 911 Rooter enough, they are truly the best.

I called the emergency number late at night because we had water abruptly start leaking. I explained that we had turned the water off so everything was stable but we didn't know where the leak had started, but we had a really good idea. They sent someone the next day during normal business hours. First the guy says he'll only look for the leak and attempt to access it for $424. He knew we'd have to call another plumber and schedule an appointment if we didn't accept his offer. He takes 5 minutes to cut into the drywall (which obviously they don't repair) and notes that a finishing nail went through a part of copper pipe. Then he said it'll be over $800 for him to "fix" it, which included removing a portion of the pipe and replacing. It took him AN HOUR to locate the leak (with my husband's help because it was only one guy who clearly couldn't turn water on and off to check for a leak by himself) and fix it. When I told my home warranty company what we were charged, they were furious and even sent their own email to the company shaming their prices. This company took advantage of the situation and overcharges for no reason. Explain to me how an hour of work and $50 worth of material should cost more than $1,200. I'm an attorney and no one in my field charges that much for an hour.

1/2022: We requested the agency come and check our main drain today. The plumber was here 10 minutes and said it would be $680. He did minimal looking prior to me talking with him (he talked to my husband first). I asked a lot of questions and explained how water had backed up extensively after a load of laundry. I suggested we recreate the situation as the water had receded. He acted annoyed at my suggestions and said he wasn’t sure what the issue with the backed up water was. I loved this agency previously. But we have now spent $2500 on the same issue and are being asked for another almost $700. They quoted $680 to install a garbage disposal also. It’s too bad.
Below is my previous comment.
2019: They are very responsive, friendly and straight forward. I appreciate the diligence they have. I am adding to this review as the supervisor came out both times (we had another issue in December with something else) and they fixed the issue again. They did not charge us since the work had to be fixed. Very professional and kind. -
DOESN'T STAND BY THEIR WORD
Technician Patrick came to my house, was very nice & determined the problem was with my well. Since he couldn't do anything, he told me several times he would get my $100 service fee refunded. I didn't bring up the fee or ask for a refund, he offered it.
The company stopped communicating & responding and never refunded the fee. I can see why they have so many bad reviews.
Congrats 911, you got my $100. Apparently you really, really need the money. YOU'LL NEVER GET ANOTHER PENNY FROM ME. -
Late last night my bathtub & toilet was backing up majorly. It was a disaster to say the least. After being on the phone with multiple company's that were no help what so ever, I came across 911 rooter & plumbing. Thankfully they are a 24/7 hour company. The first phone call to them all the way to the service they provided was remarkable!.
The person who put me on the schedule had outstanding customer service & was very communicative, letting me know when and who will be coming out to my house. Even giving me a 10 min. Notice of the technician arriving.
The technician that came out was amazing as well, he got the job done in a timely manner and cleaned everything up sufficiently.
I am a proud customer, and will definitely be calling them again if I have any plumbing issues arise in the future!. No doubt about that. -
Had an urgent need to have my hot water heater looked at. I called and was quickly routed to a person that was able to schedule same day service with free estimates. They came on time, we professional, wore covers over their boots, took the time to diagnose, and provide options for resolution. I really appreciated the professional fair advice and extremely quick assistance. I recommend them.

Our water heater went out and 911 Rooter & Plumbing were very responsive and reasonably priced. We tried another company before and got an extremely high quote and very little explanation of what was wrong. Patrick was actually early to the scheduled appointment, quickly determined what was wrong, and thoroughly explained what it was. He was able to replace our water heater the same day and was almost 25% cheaper than the other company. He was friendly and professional and even went above and beyond by taking out some old piping from and older system that we no longer used. I would definitely recommend Patrick and will use him again in the future.

We had an emergency plumbing issue with a septic back up and already had 2 companies out that couldn’t resolve the issue. We scheduled for next available with 911 Rooter. When I voiced concern over the severity of the issue, the phone tech - ANGELA - was both empathetic and caring in her responses. She immediately referred me to another company that could be able to address the issue sooner. The other company came out and the issue was resolved! Thank you Angela for your kindness, generosity and positive demeanor.

I would recommend 911 Rooter and Plumbing for any issues you may have. They came out on a Saturday and took care of my plumbing problem. they were fast and showed up on time and got the job done. Patrick is a very good plumber and got all my kitchen plumbing replace and looked better than expected. Douglas was also very helpful and did a great job. If you need any plumbing done I would call 911 Rooter and Plumbing. I know I'll call them again if I have anymore issues.

Discovered our mainline had backed up around 8pm. Called around to multiple companies, 911 Rooter & Plumbing was the only one that answered their phones. We were told they could have a tech out between 10pm - midnight and from experience with other companies, we figured it may end up being even later so we asked to schedule for the next morning. They were able to schedule us for 10am the next morning, saving us the after hours fee. A representative followed up with text messages to confirm the appointment, a reminder of the scheduled time, and to let us know when the tech was on their way. The tech, Paul, was on time, courteous, and very professional.
Our mainline backed up again four days later, so we contacted the company. Since it was the same drain, they let us know the previous work was under warranty and promptly sent out another tech. The tech, Seth, arrived within 20 minutes and went right to work. He asked us questions and explained what could cause additional backups. We felt confident in both Paul and Seth's work and if we continue to have issues will use the company again to scope our line. Their professionalism, timeliness, and communication was much appreciated. -
If you want your plumbing issue done right the first time, go to 911 Rooter and Plumbing! Nelson and his guys will get you taken care of, with a customer service level you have never seen!! I have used them regularly for over twelve years now, and recommend them for any of your plumbing needs! And they also did a fabulous job on a bathroom remodel for me three years back as well! So they are multi-talented and know their stuff!

Excellent tech that came to house but I am extremely disappointed in the pricing structure and poor communication. While they communicate and charge a $150 emergency fee to you, they seem to only have a single after hours technician so be prepared to wait hours. I'll commend Angela from customer service for making an extra call to try to help me shut off the water. Where they've failed for me is in their $318 "leak finding" fee. They charge this if they have to cut into your drywall. This needs to be communicated during initial set up of appointment so that a customer can take the hours they are waiting and make their own decision; I very easily and safely could have made the same opening. Once a technician is standing in your home at 10:30 pm you're no longer in a position to have other options.
You are also charged the $150 just to reserve the appointment so you won't be able to find a faster service once you reserve a technician (I had an unknown ETA initially during an active water leak because they only had the one tech)
Overall I just felt undeserved and way overcharged. I waited over 2 hours for a technician to be in my house for 45 min and a total of $468 to tell me the AC had condensation building up. So while I do appreciate them "identifying the problem" I can't say I'll be using or recommending their services.
I've dropped this to a 1 star as all I've gotten is the generic "please call us". -
I ihink this business is disreputable. The estimate I received for a simple PVC drain repair was over $1800!!
I had already assembled the parts needed. It was a 15 minute job on a non-pressurized drain line. The repairman went on and on about all the bad things that "could" happen and came up with this outrageous number. I Sent him alway. The next plumber did the job for $100. -
Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable.

My technician was so helpful and friendly.

Honest business, they do not try to sell you anything you don't need. They will go up and above to get you what you want not just what you need..

Excellent work by Richard. On time and work completed in a very professional matter.
