Sara, our project manager was wonderful, very attentive, with excellent communication. They all strive to make the project seamless, the painters, drywallers, plumber, electrician, etc., all did excellent work and had pleasant demeanors, which is a huge plus. Highly recommend BIC.

Updated with pics** BIC was absolutely amazing start to finish! They made what could have been a stressful basement finish so smooth and easy. Our Project Manager Eddie was especially awesome. He texted us every morning so we knew every day exactly what would be happening and who would be there. All our questions along the way were quickly answered as well. The best decision we made for this project was choosing BIC! Will update with pictures soon as our basement is beautiful and by far our favorite part of our house now!

BIC finished my basement and were great to work with. Scott was helpful during the consultation and contracting phase, very patient in answering all of my questions. My project supervisor, Eddie, kept me updated each work day letting me know what was going to happen, keeping me informed of any changes or updates, and answered a lot of questions. The overall quality of the work was outstanding. The custom shelves and the tile work in the shower are both far above what I had hoped for and I am in awe of the high level craftsmanship they display. I love my basement and would recommend them with no reservations.

We could NOT BE HAPPIER with the end result of our basement remodel through BIC. Every detail is exactly what we had hoped for and matched all of our expectations. The end-to-end process was so seamless and well thought out. We had a general idea of what we wanted in the basement and through Scott’s experience he optimized our space fitting all of our needs into the design. Day-to-day work days were managed by Patrick, who was absolutely fantastic. We’d get DAILY updates on what was going to happen during the day. We was responsive, flexible and just overall incredibly helpful as we navigated through the project.

The workmanship, the personnel, the communication and the timeline of our project was second to none. We could not recommend BIC any higher.

I recently had my basement finished by BIC, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience from start to finish!

When I was getting quotes from different companies, I knew right away after speaking with Scott that BIC was the right fit. He clearly knows his craft inside and out and was so personable and easy to work with.

Sara, our project manager, was absolutely fantastic. She kept everything running smoothly, always communicated updates clearly, and took the time to walk me through every detail. I really appreciated how she listened to my concerns and made sure I was completely comfortable before moving forward on each step.

A special shoutout as well to Chris, who installed my daughter’s climbing wall and made sure the framers properly blocked the ceiling for her sensory swing — that extra care meant a lot to me as a parent.

Even though my project was a smaller space with more basic finishes, I never once felt like it was treated as less important. The same level of attention, communication, and care went into every step as I imagine they give to their largest builds. That meant a lot to me and really speaks to the pride they take in their work and the way they value every client.

We had BIC finish our basement and we are so happy we choose them. From start to finish the process was smooth. We initially met with the owner Scott to go over design plans. We were thinking of a layout that was based off the builders floorplan and Scott offered a completely different layout that gave a better flow and better use of the space. He definitely brings his experience and knowledge to the process. Our construction supervisor Eddie, made the building process less stressful with daily communication of what was going on. He was always open for questions or comments. We even were on vacation for two weeks during the process and he went out of his way to make sure the construction continued while we were gone. All the crews that came into our house were friendly, professional and respectful. We highly recommend BIC Construction!!

BIC Construction did a great job with our basement. Scott, the owner, was wonderful to work with. He was professional and highly knowledgeable. Sara, the project manager, was so easy to work with and a great communicator. We loved Fish, who worked hard taking care of every little detail. All in all, I would highly recommend this company.

BIC Construction is amazing. I did my due diligence. I sent inquiries to four companies and received bids from 2. When Scott (the owner of BIC) came he was a wealth of information. The company has been around for so long and they only do basements. He asked questions about things I never would have considered. He had his pulse on the real estate market about what would be best for resale. His design was spot on. He's a great listener.
Once we chose BIC we met the crew. Sara B. the project manager was incredible. I loved getting a text every morning between 7 and 7:15am telling me who would be showing up and what they would be doing. She came by the job site often and always let me know about the progress, the inspections, and always asked if there were any changes I wanted to make. Chris (Fish) was such a comfort. His construction industry knowledge also helped moving things along. Jerry the electrician was great because he recommended certain lighting changes based on how I would be using the space. I can tell you it has made a world of difference in the finished basement.
There wasn't one craftsmen who came through and I met all but 2, who weren't professional, skilled, and personable. Their commitment to excellence was clear and present.
I can't think of a better company to entrust should a large project.

They finished the work on time with no major issues. After the job was completed, we did have a couple minor issues, but that were immediately addressed by BIC. Wow! We just completed our basement finish and working with BIC from start to finish was a great experience. To summarize: great communications, no surprises, very personalized, appropriate flexibility, and strong experience that showed in the organization of the project management. After phone filtering several, we interviewed 2 contractors in person. We were impressed with Scott’s ability to design on the fly and follow-up the same day with 3D visuals—this was before we signed a contract! He stood out from the beginning from the other contractors we interviewed with his transparency and honesty. Scott recommended that we share his design with the other contractors we were considering so that the bids could be apples to apples. The other contractor was going to cost us a substantial amount up front (within 10 days of signing and 6 weeks before construction!). Sara Bondoni was our BIC project manager, and she sent me an updated text every morning. She was wonderful to work with and she guided us with her experience. Chris is an interior trim/carpenter with BIC who did amazing things for us with a wall niche and with a cork wall. We had a zippered plastic door on our stairs to the basement, and all workers entered our home through our basement window. That was really convenient for us. All workers did a great job of cleaning up before leaving for the day. By the way, our first invoice and payment to BIC was AFTER the work had started, and our contract was divided into 5 payments. Lastly, the project was so efficient, it was completed early. No surprises with payments and change orders! No surprises with the work as we were part of the decisions all the way through. The only surprise was how smoothly this project was. We got a lot of value for the cost!

BIC knocked our basement renovation OUT OF THE PARK! After working with two other companies for a bid and design, we were starting to feel hopeless about actually loving one of the designs and we were worried we'd have to settle. We followed our gut and waited a few months to reconsider the project. A neighbor of ours had their BIC sign in their yard and we decided to call Scott right away. Scott was in contact with us immediately (maybe 24 hours?) and was on site to take measurements and meet with us to discuss the initial details of his process within a few days. It only took him a week to have an initial bid and full design for us to review. Scott came through with the most creative, logical, and outright beautiful design for our large 2,124 sq ft unfinished basement. Not only was his design exactly what we hoped for, he was able to squeeze us into his schedule within a month to get started. With expecting a baby, the thought of getting the whole project done before arrival date seemed impossible. Well they did it. And they finished early (just short of 10 weeks).

The team that Scott has organized at BIC is full of competent, respectful, and efficient people. We had a project manager assigned to us to go through all of the phases of construction and communicate every little detail. If you work with BIC and are lucky enough to have Sarah as your project manager, your life will be so easy. Sarah's communication skills are exquisite. She gets her job done well. We also worked with Patrick a few times during the project and were very impressed with his attentiveness and ability to break down the details for us. Overall, every team member we spoke with and worked with was delightful.

Our basement has filled all of our individual needs and encompasses so many little details that are above our expectations. It was not an easy project with moving the water heater, adding a bathroom & wet bar, leveling the concrete, rebuilding the stairs, electric and plumbing work from scratch, etc., but BIC made it look easy.

They provided us with the contact info for many of their contractors for us to reach out to if we decide to make changes/add ons that weren't quite in our budget during their specific phases. We never felt "nickle and dimed" throughout the process and Sarah made sure we understood all expenses through each phase. We really appreciated having the opportunity to do our own designing of each space and choosing our own materials for the most part. Sarah was great at helping us finalize these decisions if we felt unsure.

We are beyond impressed with the entire project from start to finish. Thank you BIC!

I couldn't recommend BIC Construction more! The owner, Scott, takes so much pride in his company and they are completely AFFORDABLE, he will build you a basement for your budget. We were upfront with Scott about our budget and he never once tried to sell us on a design that was above what we were comfortable with. We started with a completely unfinished basement without insulation and we're ending with exactly what we wanted:
- New windows throughout
- New window sills
- 5inch baseboards
- PLENTY of unfinished storage
- Rough plumbing and electrical for a future wet bar
- 900 sq ft of finished basement: floors, lights, insulation, fans, full bathroom with a linen closet, large bedroom, family room, play room and future dining area.

We couldn't have done any of it without our Project Manager, Chris Sedillo. He checked in with us constantly, was on site frequently, answered all of our questions and did it all with a great attitude. All projects have unexpected things that come up, ours was no different but we really want to rave about how Chris handled those few situations, absolutely everything that needed attention was addressed to our satisfaction (or beyond).

The final results are incredibly high-end, it would be something you would expect to see in any new build (but better quality). Most people model their basement to match their hiuse but we'll be remodeling our house based on our basement.

Additionally, every single vendor that BIC used, was pleasant to work with. The whole project took about 8 weeks and we couldn't be happier.

This being our second basement project at our home using BIC, we wanted to share that on both occasions they exceeded our very high expectations. From the initial drawing process to the final punch list items, they were very professional, courteous and provided daily communication throughout the two projects. Every one of the subcontractors working with BIC were the same, very professional and thorough. Our first project in late 2021 with Patrick in charge was approximately 1,000 sq feet of completely unfinished basement into a bar/tv room with electric fireplace/bath and bedroom and the finished product is amazing. The second project was the finishing of the remaining 325 sq foot storage area into a home gym. Sara was wonderful to work with and provided an exceptional building experience for us. We recently finished our basement to include a bathroom, bedroom, and large entertaining area with bar and built in fireplace. This was our first major construction project and we couldn’t have picked a better partner to complete this process.

Scott’s design was by far the best option out of all the contractors. He was creative in the use of space, stayed within budget and understood our priorities without adding in things that we didn’t want/need.

Sarah was our project manager and she was excellent. Her communication was great, she is easy to talk to with questions/concerns and provided understandable explanations and advice when I was stuck on decisions. She was accessible and seriously couldn’t have made it without her!

Patrick was a lead and we saw him multiple times weekly. We had a design change and he was there immediately to explain concerns and great solutions along with Chris. Chris was here often doing on the job work and was super pleasant to work with. He was friendly, knew the project from beginning to end and always advocated for what we were needing.

Our project was above and beyond what we had envisioned and the team we worked with was amazing. On top of our experience, several subcontractors raved about their experience with BIC as well- countertops, electrician, and plumber. They highlighted BICs professionalism, finished product, and all preferred BIC over other contractors. This made us at ease considering it was our first time with a contractor. We highly recommend BIC and it’s so great to get so many compliments from friends and family on our basement.
