The feedback I have received from my clients has always been positive. Daniel’s character is honest and professional which is sometimes lacking in this industry. Furthermore, Daniel goes above and beyond to get the insurance claim approved.

Outstanding basement finishing company from the initial consult and design phase all the way through the final walk through. Scott and his team are upfront about pricing and the contract locks in unless you make changes, a great feature with any large remodeling project. Craftsmanship of the entire team was on point and the basement is amazing. I had some key criteria for my theater area and wet bar and the team certainly delivered. I would recommend at least getting a quote for anyone looking to get a basement finish in the Denver area.

We recently completed a basement project with BIC Construction, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, Scott impressed us with his detailed estimation, thoughtful initial designs, and a walk-through that made my wife and me feel confident about choosing BIC. Out of the eight general contractors we interviewed (all specializing in basements), BIC’s bid was not only very competitive but also the most thorough.

Our project was unusually complex for a ~900 sq. ft. basement. It included features such as a 38" round cold plunge tub, a 7' x 4' sauna, heated floors, a large electric fireplace, a 7x2x1 sound system, smart lighting, a server room, and even a relocated water filtration system. The scope demanded careful scheduling and coordination, and Chris S.—our project manager—exceeded all expectations.

Chris was exceptionally receptive to our needs as homeowners and incredibly responsive whenever concerns arose. He not only managed requirements and schedules flawlessly but also took the time to set up meetings with tradesmen when I had technical questions, ensuring my concerns were addressed directly and completely. His professionalism, dedication, and ability to manage intricate details gave me peace of mind throughout the build.

The subcontractors Scott lined up were all highly skilled, professional, and respectful—entering and exiting through the window well to minimize disruption. While any project comes with challenges, every issue was resolved promptly and to a high standard. I never felt nickel-and-dimed, and the change orders were fair and reasonable. BIC Construction also connected us with Crystal at Roche & Olive. Crystal's services were fantastic and helped aligned our goals for the project with BIC's
capabilities. Her work helped carry our confidence throughout the project.

The end result was a beautifully finished, highly functional basement that met every one of our specialized needs. BIC Construction delivered on time, on budget, and with outstanding quality. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone considering a basement remodel, especially one with complex requirements.

I spoke to Scott at the very end of my contractor search, after interviewing 6 others for my basement project. What immediately caught my attention with Scott was that he was interested in what I wanted - the other contractors I had spoken to were unwilling to do certain things (like install carpet, or install a pre-fab vanity). Scott was the only contractor who offered to do a layout design without a deposit or commitment. He was the only one who pointed out items to "future proof" my basement, such as pre-installing PVC vents for a HE Furnace replacement later on down the line (so I wouldn't have to tear my ceiling out). He met my budget, introduced me to his team and they did everything they said they would do, down to the smallest details. I had not one, but two great project managers (Eddie and Patrick) who either stopped by or spoke to me every single day. The project finished on time. Yes, there were a few bumps in the road along the way - and if anyone tells you there won't be during a project like a basement remodel, they are lying to you - but my PMs and Scott always asked "How can we make it right?" or "We will find a solution". "No" was not in their vocabulary. Not once did they try to BS me when issues arose. Even when I made last minute changes because I couldn't make up my mind, these guys stuck with me and made it work. Their sub contractors were top notch and you can tell Scott has hand picked the pros he partners with. Not only was BIC an amazing basement finishing contractor, but hands down the most professional and organized contractor I have ever hired. My only negative remark is that I wish I could hire them again for projects other than my basement!!

BIC recently finished our basement and it was a tremendous experience. The owner Scott is incredibly responsive, trustworthy, involved, and easy to work with. Our Project Manager was Pat and he was tremendous. He was knowledgeable, flexible, courteous and respectful of our home, to the point where our small children looked forward to his daily visits. Chris helped out as well and did a lot of the handyman work. Chris' work, and all of the subcontractors on the job had a very high level of detail. We are thrilled with our newly finished basement by BIC! We knew how we wanted to use the space, but couldn’t figure out how to make it work. Scott designed it perfectly! He really listened to us and used spaces in ways we hadn’t even considered!
The entire construction crew was professional, talented in their craft, respectful, and did everything with integrity. The project manager, David, gave us a schedule at the beginning of the work, and it was finished only 4 days late! Unheard of with a 9 week project! They kept the job site clean and picked up most of the time, which we appreciated.
During the construction period there were issues (typically items not being available on time due to post-Covid supply chain problems). David walked us through options, helped us think thru how the overall project would be impacted, both in terms of the look/functionality, and potential cost impact. We highly, highly recommend BIC Construction LLC for finishing your basement. They begin by showing up on time and being professional whilst bringing a wealth of knowledge and design ideas. They had the idea of moving the entire hot water heater, etc. out of the center of the room and placing it elsewhere in order to open up square footage. They took into account we needed ADA accessibility for our elderly mother, and they took into account every last wish and desire we asked for. They are communicative, talented, friendly, and only have the best, highly qualified employees or subcontractors working for them. We are incredibly happy with the results and we’re very grateful for them for taking on our project. You can’t go wrong with this team.

BIC Construction completed our basement build-out in January 2022. We worked with Scott during the design phase. We were impressed with his knowledge, design skills, and hands on approach. Our project manager for most of the project was Eddie with Patrick filling in as needed. BIC worked with us to stay on budget and addressed all our concerns during the design phase. Due to COVID, holiday schedules, and other supply chain issues the project ran over schedule a little but it was acceptable given our current times. The project managers were responsive to our questions and we were able to work through issues with relative ease. When work was being done, they provided us with daily status, coordinated main floor access and weekend work. My one nit-pick was a somewhat incomplete list of customer provided items in the design document. Luckily, the good folks at Floor & Decor helped us navigate most of the missing pieces. We're happy we went with BIC and would use them again if we had to do it over. Tell them I sent you, you'll be glad you did.

BIC construction LLC finished our basement earlier this year. We couldn't be happier with the finished product! From the very first time meeting Scott he walked us through exactly what our basement would look like with a detailed project timeline including cost and there were no surprises! This was our first big project at our home and they set the bar very high! We never want to leave our basement. The attention to detail and communication was stellar. BIC is amazing! We used them to finish our basement. From our first meeting with Scott, to our final walkthrough we knew we had made the right decision! To begin, we met with Scott and did a walk-through of the space, and he provided us with a super detailed floorplan, and he also provided us with a virtual walk-through during our meeting. Once construction was ready to start, we met with our project manager Sarah who was exceptional! We communicated all of our wants and needs, including making sure our gate was closed daily for our two dogs. Sarah relayed this to every worker who entered our property, and our dog was always safe! She provided such thorough customer service through her attention to detail, her daily updates, and her daily onsite visits to ensure the smooth running of the daily construction; we couldn't have asked for anyone better. The thoroughness of all the contractors on this project was incredible. Their attention to detail was above and beyond. We highly recommend BIC to anyone who is looking for a beautiful living space!

I have nothing but good things to say about BIC Construction! We approached them with a unique project in that there was some partial work done on our basement when we purchased the home. There was no way for us to know what was up to code and what wasn't. Worth the wait! This review is way overdue—we contracted with BIC to complete our basement in January 2021 knowing that they wouldn't be able to start until mid-summer. We received quotes from other contractors who were able to start work sooner but I'm so happy we waited to work with BIC. From design conception with Scott, to the management of day-to-day operations with Patrick and Eddie, we could not have been more pleased with the process and outcome. Our space is relatively small but Scott was able to come up with clever ideas to maximize every square inch and give us the most functional space possible. The team went above and beyond with thoughtful attention to detail and ownership of the project from start to finish. Inevitably, as is the case with any construction project, we hit a couple snags that required a re-thinking of the plan but Patrick never missed a beat. He assured us that we would be taken care of and was very transparent in his communication about how issues would be resolved. We've been loving our basement for just over six months now and even after the fact, the team has been a resource for us. We had a couple issues—one with wiring and one with the shower glass—both of which Patrick responded to very quickly and helped facilitate a solution. I wholeheartedly recommend BIC to anyone looking for a basement contractor.

BIC was amazing. We got about 6 different quotes for finishing our basement and not one of them was as thorough as BIC and fair in cost. They do a 3D walk through so you can really get a feel for what your finished product will be and make changes where you see fit. The crews were great and Jay our project manager was the best communicator and always as friendly as could be. We were always in the loop of what was going on. I can't recommend this company enough!
