Surprised I'm the first 1-star review. Made an appointment this morning, told a tech would show up between 1-4 pm with a call 30 minutes beforehand. No call, no show, so I scheduled with another contractor. To their credit, someone did call me at 7pm asking if I still needed service. I, of course, declined.

I recently moved into a new house and I needed my HVAC system inspected and cleaned. The technician whom they sent was very knowledgeable and thorough. He explained what he was doing and answered all of my questions.I was very impressed with the entire experience and would definitely recommend them.

Rapid Heating and Cooling is a scam. They're a company that's based out of state (not in Colorado) who contracts random people to service your HVAC. Communication from the call center, to the local contractors, to the customer, is terrible; we had a contractor cancel our service request because they "couldn't get a hold of the customer." We got no calls or texts, so you can't get a hold of a customer you never tried to contact. And we only found out the local contractor cancelled the job because the arrival window the call center gave us was closing, so we called to get the status, and they informed us that our job had been nixed. Awful customer service. Also, we paid for the Premium Home Service for $199/year, which on their site specifically says will waive all service fees. Well, we just got a bill for a service fee. Be wary of the positive reviews for this place!

Great company with a very concerned, considerate, kind, professional staff. Dan is a superb tech and a wonderful person. I have had Rapid heating and cooling repair since last year. Dan is an outstanding service tech. He has been helping me maintain the A/C unit with select upgrades over the last 2 years. He is very nice person that is always very pleasant. Our heater stopped working on one of the coldest nights of the year and Rapid heating and cooling repair was able to send out a technician to my home first thing in the morning. He explained everything he was going to do and answered all of my questions before he started. He even cleaned up after he was done. His charges were very fair. I will highly recommend them.

I had a furnace install done by Rapid heating and cooling repair company about a month ago and the service and install was excellent and they were very courteous and knowledgeable. Dan and his team were very careful when setting up and performing the work. When they left, the house was very clean and I truly believe I have a wonderful system. Many many thanks for the service!!

I don't usually give negative reviews but I would stay far away from this company. We had to get our furnace replaced a couple years ago so we called Rapid as a local HVAC company in Parker to replace it. After about 18 months the furnace started shutting off in the middle of winter for random reasons and I was having to change my air filter once every 2 weeks just to keep it going. We call to have it serviced by Rapid and they send a Tech out who tells us it was not installed properly the first time, they forgot to put a reset switch on the furnance and also did not put a high altitude gauge that prevents it from shutting off. I have a 2 and 1 year old and we would make up in the middle of the night and the house would be 58 degrees. The tech took care of the high altitude gauge but did not put the reset switch on there like he said he would. We got an invoice for the work which I did not think we should have since it was not installed properly the first time. I called Rapid Heating and Cooling no less than 10 times and was met with people who seemed to be concerned and said they were going to escalate and have a manager call me. 9 out of those 10 times the manager never called and in the meantime I was getting text messages from the tech that worked on the furnace telling me that he doesn't get paid unless I pay the invoice, and was asking me to pay it so he could pay his bills.

The company didn't seem to care about this as my issue always needed to be escalated to someone else - even when the manager called me, they said "well that wasnt my tech and I wasn't with the company then" and they always said they needed to have someone else call me. I ended up paying the invoice for several hundred dollars hoping that I could get it resolved with Rapid but I never was able to receive a call again even after following up with customer service and telling them about my experience.

Fast forward to issues we had with our AC this summer - we had a different company come out and take a look and they immediately realized that in replacing the new furnace (that was extremely expensive) the tech from Rapid never took the time to take the coils out to clean them which is apparently protocol in installing something like this. There were multiple other shortcuts we were made aware of that Rapid took in installing our furnace and they have had no interest in trying to fix it or make it right or even have the decency to call me back.

There are too many options in this area and too many other companies that have better customer service - until they find techs that won't cut corners, and have customer service people that will actually escalate your claims to managers that actually respond or care, I would look elsewhere for all HVAC needs.

I have been using Rapid heating and cooling repair for three years now and will continue to do so. The team that installed my furnace 2 years ago were awesome! They were very knowledgeable, courteous and very meticulous in their work ethic. I have a tune-up done every spring for the AC, and every fall for the furnace. Dan came out and did the service on the AC today and did a very thorough job! He is an asset to your company! Thank you Rapid heating and cooling repair! You guys ROCK!
