Dimitri was great! Came out on a weekend and fixed our heating issue quickly. Only charged me for the service call, which was well below the other shops we called. Dimitri will definitely be my go-to HVAC guy going forward.

Dimitri saved me (at least) thousands of dollars when he saved me from throwing my money away at a Thumbtack HVAC scammer who wanted to gut my furnace. I was panicking because it was the middle of winter, I was leaving for a wedding the next day and could not risk not having a functional heating system for fear of my pipes bursting. I called Dimitri to get his opinion and he told me straight up I was being scammed. Dimitri then showed up less than an hour later and patiently and methodically went through my furnace, explaining each component and his thought process. Transparent, reliable, thorough, honest, unbelievable fair in pricing, you will be hard pressed to find a better more trustworthy HVAC tech. I was so impressed with his work that I will be using him for my future furnace and AC replacement.

Had issues with another A/C company and was told it would cost me 8,000.00 to fix it mine or buy a new one. Called Heatwave and Dimitri showed up the next day to get a second opinion. He walked me through everything, showed and explained everything he did, and explain to me that it wasn't necessary to purchase a new A/C unit AND some of the repairs the other company suggested didn't need to be done. Heatwave saved us from spending money when we didn't need to and he will be my go to guy when it comes to heating and cooling from now on.

Needed fast help with our furnace when we woke up this morning with no heat. Dmitri was very responsive (called us back within 5 minutes of leaving a message) and was able to get out to our place the same day. He arrived on time and quickly and effectively diagnosed and fixed the issue, which turned out to be a loose door that was causing the unit to power off when a safety switch closed by the door was not engaged. Even though this turned out to be a small issue, at our request he checked the unit to make sure there were no serious issues and answered all the questions we had. Honest, professional and fair. No attempts to upsell. We will definitely be calling Dmitri for our future HVAC needs.

I highly recommend Heatwave Heating & Cooling. My condenser broke down and the fan was not working. Dimitri looked at my entire system which is 12 years old. He gave me some great suggestions and things to watch, due to the age and the overall system starting to exceed its useful life. But he stated there was no need to replace the entire unit now, as my unit will continue to operate well. He mentioned we will just repair it as the individual parts go out. He fixed the part and we were back up and running with no issues. He is a top notch professional who treated the unit and my house like it was his own. Dimitri is a professional who has tons of knowledge in the heating and a/c business and did only those repairs that were needed. I am very particular in who I recommend and my expectations are high in that they do an outstanding job. Heatwave Heating & Cooling and Dimitri exceeded those expectations and they are on the top of my list for any of my clients, friends, or family members who need a HVAC repair company.

Dimitri is a true professional and does quality work at competitive prices. He didn't even charge us for the initial service call because he "was in the neighborhood anyway". After installing our new A/C and furnace he went over the operation of both units with us and made sure we didn't have any questions. Our igniter went out on our furnace and he diagnosed it in 2 seconds. He also saw that we were using too strict of air filters and recommended using cheaper ones.

Highly recommend and will be calling them again when it's time for another job.

Heatwave is amazing. I spoke to Dimitri after receiving a quote from a big company that advertises on TV all the time. He came out the next day to take a look at my AC. Heatwave quoted 1/2 the price of the other company! They came out the very next day and Ivan & Arvy (sp?) removed the old unit and installed the new one. Heatwave is one of those ultra rare companies that has great people, awesome service, at a reasonable price. We’ve used Demitri for all of our HVAC needs for the past 5 years, and every single time, he’s been brilliant. I called this morning because my unit was leaking water. Demitri came out on short notice and resolved my issue permanently. Can’t say enough good things, use them!

My furnace stopped working and it is an old furnace, about 20 years old. However, I was not ready to replace it yet. So, I called a couple of companies and one company came out and without even diagnosing the problem told me that I had to replace it and it was not worth repairing it because the repair would cost around $2,500-2,800 and that it would be better to replace it for $7k. Then I called Heatwave heating and he came out the same day and looked at it and said that there was a crack on the ignitor and that it would be a quick fix since he had the part in his van. I was charged $379 (OEM part) for the repair and the furnace is working again. And he did mention that eventually, I should think about replacing the furnace since it is quite old. But for now, it's working and my house is warm again. Thank you Dimitri for your honesty!

Had been a while since a routine service inspection of my HVAC system was performed. Scheduled appointment about a week out with Dimitri based on his 5 star reviews. He evaluated my 7 year old system, with only recommendation being future replacement of aging/weakening capacitor but advised not urgently necessary at this point in his opinion. Very appreciative of the honesty! Courteous, professional service at a reasonable price!

We had an issue with our furnace not heating, and of course it happened when the snow and teen freezing temperatures blew in. Dimitri was here only a couple hours after my call, promptly at the beginning of the service window. A few short minutes of troubleshooting later and the system was working perfectly again. It was only a clogged pressure sensor port, so he waived the repair fee and I only paid a bit for the service call itself.
He did mention that it's quite an older unit and really should be replaced at some point soon, but that was it. No sales pressure at all, which I really appreciated.
Overall this was a great experience, and I know exactly who to call for any future issues and that eventual replacement. Highly recommend!

We had our AC go out sometime last night. We called Heatwave Heating and Cooling. Dimitri came out just a couple hours later. He quickly figured out what was going on. He ordered the part and came back this evening to swap out the part and get our AC running again. He was honest and exceptionally fair priced. He never tried to up charge, charge for extras or do more work than what was needed. I cannot say enough good things about this company. This is who we will be using for routine HVAC maintenance and repairs.

It's hard to find an honest business that charges a fair price for (only) the services you need. Dmitri is that rare find, and we are so grateful for the help he has provided us.
