Don has come to our rescue several times over the years. Plumbing projects in our Thornton home have always had a way of being emergencies, and Don has always been able to help us quickly - often that same day! This time, we had an unexplainable bit of water in the crawl space. Thanks to his previous work on our crawlspace plumbing, we were able to diagnose and solve the mystery quickly! While I was opening the deck access to our sprinkler system, he replaced a leaky valve for my upstairs toilet - and fixed another leak going into the tank!

I'm editing an older review here, adding that bit above. We first hired Don from PHI Plumbing in 2016 to do some work on our house. Our DIY kitchen remodel needed some plumbing changed around and Don completed it quickly and perfectly. Thanks for his visit, we could do the next phase of the remodel ourselves! He provided helpful advice both on the phone and in person, too. He's our "go to" plumbing guy forever now, and I knew it even then. Highly recommended!

PHI plumbing is absolutely. Had a water leak on an interior pipe. Saturated my pantry. Gave him a call first thing in the morning, came out an hour, isolated the leak and had it resolved. Completely knowledgeable and fair pricing. One of the chain plumbers would have thousands. PHI was no where near and also replaced my 30 year gate valve on my main line. We are so blessed to find such a wonder plumber nearby in Thornton. Not having a regular plumber I searched Google. PHI had a number of good reviews, so I thought we’d give them a call. Don is friendly, knowledgeable, and just plain awesome! He did a magnificent job for us.

It all started late Friday night; we found a pinhole leak spraying from the copper pipe in the basement. Don couldn’t make it until Sunday (Easter), but he did tell us what to do to keep the leak to a minimum until his arrival. We needed him to fix our kitchen drain, it was backing up. (We had a different plumber here back in October to fix this same issue.) While Don was here, we asked if he would install a kitchen faucet we had and look at the bathroom sink.

We thought his price was extremely reasonable, and would recommend him to all and we’re passing out his number.

Update: We had another leak in a different copper pipe later that evening, so it goes without saying I called Don to the rescue. He replaced two pipes and we are good to go.

Thanks to Don we are leak-free.

We have used Don several times. He always shows up on time or just says I can come now which is always great. Never tries to upsell just fixes the problem at hand. He does make suggestions which is always up to us to decide. We will continue to call him when the need arises and recommend him to our friends and neighbors.

Don responded immediately to my call and arrived at my house within the hour. He fixed our garbage disposal (we thought a new one was needed). He also diagnosed a dishwasher (still under warranty) problem that I had discovered this morning. In addition, he sealed up my faucet and cleaned it…it was causing minor leaking. We have used PHI Plumbing for years. Highly recommend. Reasonably priced.

Donald came over quickly. He quoted a fair price and got the work done quickly too. I would reccommend his services again and to anyone in the Thornton/Northglenn area.

We had a clogged kitchen sink and two other drains that were very slow. I called Don on a Sunday morning and he was on my doorstep in 30 minutes. He did the repairs in a very timely manner and charged a fair price would definitely recommend him

He did a great job on the services provided and was willing to work with me on what I could afford, helping to determine the highest priority items. He also was extremely respectful of the fact I was working while he was here. I would absolutely use his services again!

Don was very responsive, showed up on time (on a Sunday) and unclogged our drain in a short amount of time. He was careful and cleaned up when he was finished and his rate was reasonable. He also helped us get our gas fireplace working. We will certainly call Don again if we need a plumber and I will recommend Don to friends and family.

I can't reccomend Don at PHI Plumbing enough -

A quick run into the basement to put away something led me to discover a large puddle growing under my hot water heater with the exciting sound of running water. Aside from the mess, the idea of a family - with teenagers - being without hot water for who knows how long had me... expressing myself in ways that would make my sailor father proud... or blush. I remembered a friend of mine telling me about his great experience with PHI Plumbing so I decided to give Don a call. He said one of the most amazing things I've heard any plumber say, "Well, I can be there in about an hour."

Don was true to his word and arrived when he said with everything he needed to replace my hot water heater and get me back to normal in just over an hour. The bill hurt (when does a surprise new water heater not hurt?) but everything seemed honest, fair, and reasonable.

Simply put, Don is your guy. He's honest, fair, and his Master Plumber cred is obvious.

While selling my home, had a leaky tub drain going to the ceiling below. Don was extremely fast with the response and very flexible with the time frame. Fixed the leak without having to go into the ceiling! Friendly and professional. I would highly recommend him!

Wow, top notch service. Don was our saving grace. We had some plumbing issues for a few days. and it is now the weekend, Sunday to be exact. He was here in no time. The work was done very professionally, and fast. If it doesn't look right he'll tell you. We've now used Don for two home projects - replacing some basement piping after a leak (April 2022) and most recently, replacing our 20-year old water heater yesterday.

Both times - Don has been extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and by far the most fairly priced estimate of the companies we spoke with. He had the entire project completed in three hours, from initial phone call to brand new water heater installed. Highly recommend!

I’ve been using PHI for 5 years for numerous projects. I of course still shop around and the only conclusion I have come to is that most plumbers are scammers. Not PHI. Great dude, low prices and great work. Will never use anyone else.

I had a blown overflow valve, as well as an internal leak from the valve where I turn my sprinkler water on. I called PHI Plumbing this morning and Don said he could stop by in the afternoon. By chance, an earlier time became available and Don offered to come by then. He very quickly assessed both issues and quoted me a fair price for his work and expertise. He was able to begin work immediately using parts he had in his well stocked work van. He is very much a master of his craft, and I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently he completed the work. He also took the time to inspect all work for leaks. I am pleased with the work that was done.

10/10 WILL call again the next time I need a reliable pipefitter!

***updated review…So this was my previous review when I’ve dealt with him before for the last couple of times I’ve asked him for help. He pretty much ghosted me and says he’s out of town for a month or two so now I wonder if he’s just blowing me off and if he doesn’t want to work anymore. I do live in a mobile home and sometimes people don’t like working on mobile homes. Well, I guess I’ll have to find somebody else now.
November 12th Update for a new problem. My bathroom faucet needed to be replaced because the faucets were cheap and leaking. Because I had to shut my water off I had to call another company that capped the pipe but we’re going to charge me almost a grand to replace. Of course I wasn’t going to pay that much. I remembered that Don had fixed my toilet so I called to get an estimate on replacing the faucets. The estimate was so much more reasonable so of course I had Don replace both the faucets. I purchased both faucets and Don replaced both and maybe took an hour to do. I recommend Don as he is fair and honest and many plumbers are not these days. I will continue to use PHI for my plumbing needs. Don came out at short notice on a Sunday. He came at his estimated time of 15-20 minutes. My toilet was running and the top of the side valve the screw rusted. He fully replaced the side valve and made adjustments so the toilet stopped running. Don also installed a shut off valve. Maybe took Don an hour if that. Now everything is working great. The prices was very reasonable and I don’t think i was charged more for a Sunday. I will fully recommend Don as he is efficient and reasonable. Don thank you.

Don came over to assess a problem I was having with my water heater. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue and resolve it since he had all parts on hand. He worked quick and quoted a fair price, plus he provided me with some sound advice to increase the longevity of the water heater. I'll definitely be keeping his card on hand in case any other plumbing issues come up!

I definitely had a stressful situation going on with a busted pipe. Don installed my water heater a couple years back so I knew who to call.
Although he was getting ready for a family trip he dropped everything and was at my house within 20 minutes and took care of the problem.

Tried to replace a leaking shower valve by myself but ended up breaking it, and without a specific shower shutoff, I had to to shut off water for the whole house. Luckily Dawn was able to come the very day I called him and was able to finish the repair and also help fix a toilet he noticed wasn’t working correctly for free on the same day. Amazing service, however a little bit more expensive than I expected but he was able to come urgently and fix it right away
