Outstanding service! Our 24 year old furnace failed and required a tech to come inspect the issue. We had someone here within 24 hours to diagnose the problem. We chose to have the furnace replaced due to its age and could not be happier with the upgrade. Jason and his son were an amazing install crew! We went from no heat to back up and running 2 days later (weather was mild so wasn't an urgent emergency). Thanks guys!

Our tech Luis G-P identified the problem with our furnace quickly. He showed me what he found and explained the issue. He took care of it and performed an additional, thorough check to ensure there wasn't something else going on besides the obvious thing. He didn't rush out, but stayed to make sure everything continued to work properly. He was friendly and courteous, with a pleasant demeanor. He also provided me with tips for things to look out for in the future.

Very timely and reasonably priced for all my HVAC services. They always reach out to me for yearly scheduled services, even when I forget. They understand customer service and back it up with their work ethic. All around great company to hire for any HVAC services

I hired these two as subcontractors for two jobs and had to hire other people to correct their work on each project. I reached out about making corrections to the first project & they never got back to me. And now recently one of my clients discovered so many errors with their work that client filed a complaint with the BBB on my company. They over promised and have cost me $8k in re-work.

I hired this company for a few jobs because they seemed very experienced and knowledgeable. They’re also friends of my family. The work they performed is costing me thousands of dollars because it was done incorrectly and they have no intention of rectifying anything. I’ll only be hiring contractors with master licenses moving forward.

I’ve used T&J Mechanical multiple times and they have never let me down. Tyrone is very personable and knowledgeable about the HVAC industry. I would highly recommend T&J Mechanical!

Ty and John were great guys to have help with my furnace. I spoke with Ty on a Wednesday, him and John made it out the next day to fix my furnace. The situation was real complicated and involved commercial wiring between my unit and the unit next door - None the less the fellas were able to diagnose and fix the issue in roughly an hour. No up charging for services or costs, no hidden fees just straight transparency and professional work. I might note the unit involved was a commercial rooftop unit - in 25 degree weather. John handled that part like a champ! Having the situation handled was a big weight off my shoulders, but even more so a relief is knowing I have a great team to handle my HVAC from now on!!

I have used Tradewinds for every seasonal start up/shut down for our evaporative cooler and every time they've been amazing. Appointments are always scheduled very quickly, some times day of, and our Technician Eric is always super friendly and always makes sure to explain any issues he is seeing and what fixes he needs to make. Would highly recommend!

Very honest and open service, I have an old furnace that is outdated and needs to be replaced but they took a look and were able to get it functional. Ricky and Eric walked through the steps of checking and were able to resolve the issue with minimum cost, and also took the procedure and time to test to make sure it would stay consistent.

Have used Tradewinds for years for a full central AC installation and annual furnace/AC maintenance plan (which I recommend). Professional, friendly techs who are on time. Nick at home office is great to work with. Highly recommend!

I have a rental with an old furnace that uses a standing pilot with a thermocouple. I requested service and reported the pilot light that would not stay lit. Tradewinds efficiently sent a technician within hours. However, he apparently did not know that a furnace with a standing pilot that won't stay lit generally needs a new thermocouple. He did not replace the thermocouple, a part that costs about $15. The tech reported he cleaned the furnace, relit the pilot, and tested it. I requested the thermocouple be replaced, but because the tech did not call me as I requested, he did not get the communication that I wanted the thermocouple replaced. The charge for that service was $300 ($75 trip fee + $225 for the diagnostic, cleaning, and relighting the pilot light).
Within hours, the pilot went out again.
The next day, the company owner came out, checked the furnace and right away found a loose connection due to stripped threads, which occurred during the previous day's service. He replaced that section and secured it. He also took apart other sections and discovered a lot of built up of white soot creating a blockage. The amount of build up indicated the previous day's 'cleaning' was cursory and incomplete. The owner did more cleaning and replaced the thermocouple. The furnace was working again!
I asked the owner what the tech the previous day could possibly have cleaned and done to justify $225. He said he didn't know.
A few hours later, the tenant returned and immediately detected the strong scent of natural gas. I called Xcel and had the tenant vacate for safety. The Xcel technician found a gas leak caused by a connection that had not been properly tightened.
I contacted Tradewinds to report the gas leak and suggested they not charge me for the second trip and requested a refund for the first trip. The response was that they would consider a discount, which would be processed that day.
UPDATE: In a very timely manner, I received a $50 refund and was not charged for the second service trip. I am very pleased the problem is solved and the stress of no heat and a gas leak is behind us.
