Great experience with Eric at Tradewinds. I was quickly scheduled, pricing was the best out of 4 other quotes, and Eric noted some issues that another company had previously ignored (and even lied about). He was efficient and honest. We’ll be using Tradewinds for all future heating and cooling needs.

Another great experience with Eric - got our evaporative cooler up and running and performed much needed maintenance as discussed last fall. Thanks, Tradewinds!

My furnace was not lighting. I tried replacing the only things I felt comfortable doing. I had called another company and they sent a tech out and diagnosed it as being a bad mother board. The company I had called quoted me a price that I felt was quite high. After talking with Nick at Tradewinds for a second opinion, he assured me that price was high. His price was comparable to even a third opinion, so I knew I was on the right track. Nick sent it his techs, Ricky and Eric. Awesome guys!! They fixed it and gave me advice on cleaning. We even discussed new thermostat that are more efficient. All in all, a great experience with Tradewinds. They are my go to for their quality and honesty.

Eric and Ricky, they came to my home today and fixed my furnace! They were absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable, great energy and vibes! Glad to have such an amazing Duo of professionals come to my home and take care of the problem especially in this cold weather. They gave great advice on the future of my furnace. I will definitely call back in the future and especially request them.

Going the extra mile! I know Eric didn’t have to do this and is definitely not in his job description, but he shoveled my driveway since my car slid down due to the ice. Such a great human! Five Stars – Excellent Service and Follow-Through

TradeWinds Heating and Cooling recently installed a new unit in my home, and while there were some unexpected issues with the equipment itself, I couldn’t be more impressed with how the team handled everything. From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and committed to making sure the job was done right.

The installation was completed on schedule, and when the unit had some problems afterward, TradeWinds didn’t hesitate to step in and make it right. They followed up promptly, diagnosed the issue, and ensured everything was fixed to my satisfaction. It’s rare to find a company that stands behind their work the way TradeWinds does.

I really appreciate their dedication to customer service and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable HVAC service.

Tradewinds Horror Story:
I've had an AHS claim open for over 2 months for A/C issue, and my tenant has been suffering the Denver heat. Within the first couple of weeks of the initial diagnosis, I paid non covered costs (~1K) right away and Nick assured me that his team would get everything resolved. The next month and a half was followed by spotty communication, going days without follow up, and me on the horn with AHS almost everyday to discover that things were in Tradewinds' workflow waiting on action. I asked Nick for a quote to just pay for the repairs myself and still nothing back. For anyone doing AHS claims, would certainly steer clear from this company. Was strung along by Nick for 2 months after paying non covered costs when he could have told me it would take this long and I would have gone elsewhere but since they have me by the cahones I can't go elsewhere

AC went out on the weekend. Contacted Tradewinds on Sunday. Repairs were made Monday morning. Ricky did an excellent job. I would recommend Tradewinds to others I need of repairs.

After posting this review, I received several harassing texts from Tradewinds, implying that I am lying and trying to tarnish their brand. I am appalled at the level of gaslighting that I have experienced in this exchange. They are actively trying to get my review taken down, which makes me more certain than ever that this is a dishonest company to do business with.

Issue #1: They replaced a part in my furnace that they suspected to be the issue, but couldn’t prove it. About a month later, it was determined that the condensation leak was caused by a clog, not a faulty part. There went $1k. I feel like I should mention that they primarily focused on the “faulty” collector box as being the main issue, and later mentioned a general cleaning as something that will help any HVAC system. The way that it was communicated felt more like a sales pitch than something that was crucial. Due to this communication and my limited amount of money, I opted to not do the cleaning, which would have prevented a leak described in the next issue. That is on me, but I was only following the urgency described by the technician.

Issue #2: After finding the clog and fixing it, they said that my furnace needs to be replaced ASAP due to likely water damage and my AC unit probably needs to be replaced as well. Well, I just got a second company out here and they showed me that not only is the furnace fine, but the AC unit is in great condition. If I had pursued further with Tradewinds, I would have spent thousands of dollars on an entirely new HVAC system that I now know is perfectly fine.

I’m disappointed that Tradewinds seems to be yet another company that tries to fear monger customers into upgrading everything as a solution to any minor problem.

All associates who were here to install new furnace and AC were very professional very knowledgeable very friendly and did excellent work. Communication with everyone was very very good as well.

When my A/C condensate pump stopped working, I called Tradewinds to come out and fix it. They were able to get me on the schedule quickly and came out and replaced the pump (and some of the very janky work done by the original installer). They were great at communication and customer service, both on the phone and in person. I highly recommend them!

Finally a Real Solution!

I can’t say enough good things about Tradewinds Heating and Cooling. After dealing with recurring AC issues every summer since 2023 and having multiple companies come out with temporary fixes or no real answers, Tradewinds was the team that finally got it right.

Ricky, our technician, was fantastic. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and focused on finding a real resolution. He didn’t just fix the issue - he fine-tuned the system for better performance than we’ve ever had. The airflow is noticeably stronger, and the whole system is running better than ever.

The entire experience with Tradewinds was top-tier. From communication to execution, they were respectful of our time and committed to getting it right. Highly recommend, especially if Ricky is assigned as your technician!

A/C was not working and was told I needed a whole new system from a different company! Was doubtful so I got a second opinion from Tradewinds.

Their diagnostic was much more thorough and complete. Did not have to do a full replacement and the repair process was much less painful than anticipated. Highly recommend their services - super professional, high levels of communication, and quality work.

The Tradewinds team was fantastic to work with again. They were able to put me on their schedule quickly and communicated time frames well. Everyone I was in contact with was friendly and helpful.

Tradewinds fixed our furnace issue with timeliness, professionalism, integrity, and kindness. All qualities I value tremendously. If and when we have another electrical issue in our home, Tradewinds will be the first people we will call.

We had two other companies come out to check our air conditioner and they recommended our A/C be completely remounted and a new pan installed. Ricky was professional and provided photo evidence to show us what other companies had said needed to be done which was going to cost $4,000. He insulated a pipe and confirmed everything else was installed per manufacturer recommendations and saved us from getting scammed. He was patient in explaining everything he saw and why what was being recommended was not necessary for repair. It’s hard to find honest companies like this and I appreciate the efficiency and timeliness in accommodating our schedule quickly. They informs us when the tech was on his way and when he arrived. I Highly recommend and will use them again.

We had a dangerous carbon monoxide issue with our boiler exhaust pipe. Called several places on a Sunday who couldn't see us until Tuesday or just didn't even call us back. But Tradewinds was able to put us on the Standby list for Monday and was able to come out the very next day to fix what was a dangerous issue. The communication from Tradewinds via text was timely and excellent. The technicians who came were very good at explaining everything in detail and laying out all the options. And once the work was done, they cleaned everything up nicely. Very happy with the work and the price was fair. I would definitely use them again!

My dog did some serious damage to my HVAC system trying to get at a critter. I got several quotes and Tradewinds was the most reasonable. The job ended up being a lot more work than anticipated. The team did a fantastic job troubleshooting and got it fixed. Would definitely recommend this company.

Tradewinds incorrectly installed a heating and air conditioning unit in our condo. They refused to honor the warranty and fix the unit. We we to Small Claims Court and won a judgement against them. They are even refusing to honor a court ordered payment. Think twice about hiring this company.

I was very impressed by the outstanding work completed by Ronnie, Tony, and Fred at my condo. After receiving a quote from a different company, I decided to seek another quote and opinion and I'm very glad I did. My total cost was much less and the workmanship was excellent. I recommend them highly to anyone who needs heating and cooling repairs or replacement.
