Our Bosch heat pump was installed 3 years ago by Temperature Pro who went out of business October 2024. I have been smelling a moldy smell and called Air Necessity. They came with a week, on time, and Daniel knew exactly the problem right away. The installation was bad so the condensed water just sat in the pipes and did not drain. The whole thing was full of mold and slime. He cleaned it up today and will come back next week to completely deinstall, raise the unit so that it will drain in the future and put it back together.

This company is amazing, they are there every time I need them. Smart techs, great company and affordable prices. Can’t say enough good things.

Great company right from the first phone call to the completion of the new air conditioner install. The installer Corey and his helper (name ?) were fantastic explained everything. Arrived on time did the job and cleaned up everything when completed. I highly recommended this company.

Perhaps the best, most professional HVAC service in SWFL. Responsive, efficient and very knowledgeable about all aspects of cooling and heating. And affordable too. They won't nickel and dime or try to upsell you. You can trust their advice. Jeremy just might be the best in his field!

Between two different AC companies, they were telling us we needed to either get a new unit (6 year old unit) Or replace the coils ($3500). Jeremy (from air necessity) came, and wasted no time trouble shooting. Turns out it was a severely neglected drain line, even after paying maintenance contracts with other companies. It was nothing that warranted a new system or coils. We are now using Air Necessity for our maintenance contract from here on out. I appreciate the amount of time he spent talking to me about the system, and showing me how to avoid issues in the future. This is the kind of company that is hard to find- HONEST! He had every opportunity to take advantage and try to get a bigger payday. However, he chose the honest route and fixed it for hardly nothing! 10/10 recommend!

Jeremy came after hours to fix our A/C. He is professional and thorough. We have used Air Necessity for 10+ years. They have been our only HVAC company. We highly recommend them, whether you're a permanent Florida resident or a snowbird. They are the best!!!

Firstly the office staff at Air Necessity is amazing. The woman we spoke with gave us a ton of information and gave us so much time in explaining everything to us and listening to us. We called on Wednesday and she got us an appointment for Mike to come out and look over everything Friday - he showed up on time and again was so nice and went over everything in extreme detail with us sent us an estimate the very next day and we decided to schedule the appointment based off of just the quality of their customer service and the time they took to make sure we understood what we were getting done. We scheduled the appointment for Monday 12.11.23 and Corey and Kenneth showed up on time and ready to work. They took time to go over everything with us before they started and man they worked HARD all day long to get the job done. They were so polite and friendly - and took great care of not only our systems issues - but were very careful to avoid any mishaps with all of my obnoxious Christmas stuff that is everywhere right now. Corey even went above and beyond to clean the dust off of the ceiling fans when that was not something he needed to do. We will for sure be using Air Necessity for all of our future Heating and Cooling needs and I 100/10 recommend them if you are looking for quality service.

Just had them back for a 6 month cleanup and service. Jeremy was on time, professional, and helpful...had some good ideas for me about what I could do going forward to keep my AC unit in top shape. Oh, and my 6 month cleaning and tune up was at no cost. I still highly recommend these folks.

We just finished a pretty big job with Air Necessity. Had to remove 100% of my old duct work and install new ducts. They repositioned my large, AC unit and redesigned the layout of all the ducts and then blew in new insulation throughout my attic space. I couldn't be happier with them and their work. Started out working with Jeremy and then primarily Corey and Kenny and Daniel. After the work was completed, I had one small issue that I wanted them to relook at. Instead of giving me any pushback, they had the best attitude about my concern and came out the very next business day to address it. I've been doing a lot of renovation and repair related to Ian, and Air Necessity has been the best contractor by far.

As a referral from my water company, Air Necessity was able to fit me in the same day and help get the A/C cooling again with a new capacitor. Tech was knowledgeable and efficient. Would definitely 👍 recommend and use them again.

Scheduling semiannual maintenance was efficient, able to get two-hour time window rather than wait all day. Technician (Sebastian) arrived on time, courteous, and took the time to listen and comprehensively explain service procedures and detail exact costs. Performed thorough inspection and cleaning for two units at a fair price and did not use this visit, as have previous companies, to sell unneeded repairs, parts, and services. In other words, Air Necessity is a professional, honest, up-front company that has personnel that displayed good, solid work ethics that are above and beyond those found in others.

The service was timely
All 3 technicians that came to our home were very polite and courteous. They worked very hard all day. They were very respectful of our home and furnishings. My only issue was they shut the breaker off to the furnace and did not turn it back on. The house got very warm and my husband figured out what the issue was and turned it back on. The other thing was we wanted to see the before and after pictures of the vents to see what all was cleaned out. We were told at the estimate we would see this but they left and did not offer this. I forgot to ask them to show us before they left.

It was Sunday, summer was approaching, and our AC unit would not turn on. The interior temperature reached 80° but a Google search showed us who to call. Air Necessity.

Jeremy arrived within 1 hour like a knight in shining armor (his uniform) upon his noble steed (his work van). He had taken care of the issue, and more, in less than 1 hour. He not only diagnosed and fixed the issue, but he then explained helpful tips and tricks to ensuring the longevity of our exterior and interior units. He departed after many thanks and they lived happily ever after.

My wife and I couldn't recommend this company, and Jeremy, enough. 10/10 experience.

After getting my A/C issue diagnosed, I spoke with Sarah over the phone. She was extremely knowledgeable and personable as she helped me understand the process of replacing my 30-yr old system. She arranged a free estimate. The technician was ON TIME, early actually, in the middle of a thunderstorm! I tremendously appreciate companies like Air Necessity Heating and Cooling and their work ethic as they strive to meet the needs of their customers and potential customers.

OMG! I don't know where to begin. When the Trane "wreck" we installed when we built in 2014 finally died completely, we had a now defunct company called Temperature Pro install a new Bosch heat pump - 3 years ago. I kept thinking I was smelling mold and we actually had allergy shots for mold for 3 years! I called Air Necessity and they had technicians out as soon as we were home from vacation - a week later. The drain pipes had been installed horizontally so no slope for drainage of condensation. Passed city inspection twice but we had massive amounts of mold on the wet air handler. They removed the entire unit, cleaned it, reinstalled it higher for drainage slope - and the heating would not work. Also the drain pan was cracked. The owner of the company actually drove to Orlando to pick up the new pan, herself - that day - Friday. They were willing to work Friday night to reinstall but we advised them to enjoy the weekend. They arrived about 8 AM Monday and were on the phone with Bosch for hours as the Nest thermostat installed by Temperature Pro was never hooked up correctly. Air Necessity workers are loyal and truly motivated to do good work. Rare these days. We would never call anyone else.

It’s always tough trying to find a reliable HVAC company to work with. It’s also tough trying to afford fixes in the current economic climate. However, the communication and response of their team was superb. They did their homework on what was wrong with my AC system and I felt like they were honest. I would recommend for HVAC needs.
