HVAC reviews in Deerfield Beach, Florida

I recently had my air conditioning system installed, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The installation team was extremely neat, respectful, and kind throughout the entire process. They took great care in their work, explained everything clearly, and made sure the job was done right. My new system works perfectly, and I’m very happy with the quality of service.

This was the first time we used their service. Our pool heater was down and I knew it was related to R-410A (also called Puron). Not sure if it was a leak but suspeted it. So Jordan came from PSL and sent a text on the way and called when he arrived. (nice touch) he diagonsed and give me my options. I rolled the dice and we are trying a fix to see if it will work. I was not ready to pull the trigger and get a new pool heater. He was pleasant and worked quickly as possible. Offer to get me a quote on a new unit and we will see. Used his salesmanship to see if we had a service contract on our house HVAC. Nice touch with zero pressure but wise enough to leave a ATC Logo sticker with phone numbers for emergency serive. Work was not cheap and I am in no position to understand costs of running a service business. Bottom line we are up and running so we should have a warm enough pool for the family over the holidays.

Luke was my A/C Technician. I appreciated how he took the time to explain everything to me thoroughly as I watched behind him. Very professional and honest. I will absolutely request him when I need Air Around the Clock next time.
-
Air Around the Clock is our family’s trusted air conditioning and plumbing company. They are always friendly, neat, and honest, and the job gets done right the first time. From beginning to end, their customer service is excellent.

Roger from Air Around the clock just came out to my house to replace some rusty valves. He did an amazing job. He was extremely professional, friendly and polite. I can’t say enough good things about this company. They are top notch. If you are looking for an air conditioning or plumbing service, I definitely recommend them

The serviceman was prompt, knowledgeable, and thorough in servicing my ac. Air around the Clock deserves 5* for their reliability, product, and staff! I purchased a service contract upon installation so there was no cost for 5 years.

Soooo......our ac was out for a few days and since I've live in Denver for 20 years, it wasn't for me. James surveyed the unit(s) and showed me the issue(other than the unit being old). Extremely professional and friendly. Even gave me a reasonable quote for a new unit or I repair the old one. I highly recommend this company and will be using them for any future issues. Kudos James. Kudos

Michael from Air Around the clock just came to inspect my AC unit. What a nice, professional, knowledgeable and friendly person.I was so impressed. This company is amazing and I can't recommend them enough. I also had them come to inspect my a water heater and plumbing because we just moved into a new to us but older house. Roger, the technician came and again, I found another nice, friendly, knowledgeable individual. He was so honest as well. I know I said this earlier but this company gets better and better every time I use them. I'm thrilled that I found them and will be using them for all my airconditiong and now plumbing needs.

Complete waste of money and a total lack of professionalism. I called Air Around the Clock to fix my AC, but instead of a real repair, I got a lazy misdiagnosis and a 'patch job' that didn't even last the afternoon.
The technician clearly didn't take the time to find the root cause of the issue. He slapped a temporary fix on it, claimed it was 'good to go,' and collected my payment. Within hours, the unit was back to not working exactly like before. It’s clear they are more interested in quick service fees and moving to the next job than actually performing quality HVAC work. If you want your AC fixed properly the first time, look elsewhere. I now have to pay a second company to fix Air Around the Clock’s mistakes. -
Scotty was very efficient and thorough in servicing our unit. He explained what he was doing both inside and outside the home to service the system, explaining as he went along his observations. I was impressed on how quickly he was assigned to the job, as I had just called the night before around 1:00 am. So I was pleased when he was scheduled for this morning and arrived ahead of schedule. I highly recommend ATC and will be requesting Scotty for future service calls.

Have had to call at least half a dozen times for the same leaking issue since June. Supposedly in the summer months it is "normal for the drain line to get clogged every couple of weeks" it is also normal for there to be significant rust on a unit 3 years old.

I scheduled an appointment online and a technician was out within an hour. This was the only good thing about this experience. The technician Felix came out checked the condensing unit and advised the compressor needed to be replaced. He stated that he could repair the unit for $367 but did not know how long the repair would last. The other 2 options were to replace the compressor for $1900 or the entire until for $6500. I originally told him I would go with the repair, he said ok, did “something” to the condensing unit and it started working. I then thought about it and changed my mind. He went back to the unit, did “something” and then it stopped working. He sent me the 2 estimates and left. I then called a family member who came and looked at the unit, he advised that I needed to replace the fuses. He took them out and left them on the entry table. Once I got off from work I looked up the fused and they were $30 (2 fuses) at Home Depot. I bought them, put them in and the A/C has been working just fine. So that $367 repair cost me $30. Which means “something” he did was him replacing 2 fuses and then removed them when I decided not to go with the repairs. I will never in life recommend this company. I live in a 55+ community and I could just image how many of them have been taken advantage of. Not only that then he tells me they accept Zelle and credit cards with a fee attached. I reached out to my HOA and the office in my community, to advise of the lack of decency demonstrated by this company. Be mindful everyone.

Highly recommend Around the Clock. They are prompt, extremely professional and knowledgeable. The service technician, Brandon, is the best! He explained everything in simple terms, doubled checked all the work and cleaned up thoroughly after the job.

I've had this company for 5 years for A/C maintenance. They came every 6 months from the beginning, always pushing a new unit even though our old unit was working fine. Finally we relented in May and got a new unit after multiple problems with the drain line getting clogged and lots of rust inside. Last night, the temperature got down to the low 30s and I set the temp at 68 with the heat on. At 3am, the temp in the house was 61! I called this morning, and they can't come until tomorrow. BRAND NEW UNIT, 5 year customer, best they can do. Not to mention the manager in charge of the installation was so rude and unprofessional, techs showed up at 8am instead of the scheduled afternoon appointment. They were supposed to do a new drain line for the washer, techs knew nothing about it (was quoted along with the new unit.) When they finally did the new line, it looks hideous. No heat on the coldest day of the year. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. UPDATE: the technician came today to fix the heat. Turned the heat on around seven o'clock tonight, and it's still blowing cold air.

Called them on a Friday afternoon and spoke to a real person who knows English within 15 seconds. I wanted to get a estimate and they sent a representative out the SAME day. Was quoted the best offer I've gotten from all other companies. On Saturday they called to confirm and walked me through the loan/payment programs they offered. Then was told they'd be able to come Tuesday to install my new system, THREE days after I was given the quote. Tuesday came and their installers came early in the morning and had it all done by the afternoon. Definitely the best service I've ever gotten from any company.

There was a problem when they installed the New air conditioner they cut the Support beem that go to the trusses. I have been waiting since last Friday for the company to get back to me. They tell me I have to speak to a manager I have made every effort to call them the only ansewer I get is the supervisor is in a meeting. still no reply. Pretty bad service. Something they are responsible for they take their time getting back to you. If they get back to me

One thing after another.
1. Blew lines apart in the wall. Water all over my laundry room.
2. Came to find the leak and unplugged my upright freezer to listen for the leak and never plugged it back - $1500 in spoiled food. Then cut a big hole in my wall to fix the leak. Did not repair drywall.
3. Moved and installed a new unit in my attic. Came through the ceiling in my hall, which they didnt tell me about until I caught the drywall man there.
4. Came home from a vacation to find a 5 x 7 foot ceiling collapse in my bedroom ceiling from what i was told by another AC guy and an independent inspector (another $450) was improperly installed new duct work and them unwrapping the insulation from around my old duct work and not wrapping it back up causing major condensation in the hot attic (cold meeting hot air). They refused to take responsibility for this and tried to blame it on my roof or on my old ducts, just anything, (ruled out by inspector) but they would be willing for $6500 to replace my old ducts - this would be with a $1900 discount for what I paid for fiber coating the old ducts they would be removing. What was I going to do, my ceiling was continuing to fall in, so I said okay.
4. Came to install the new duct work. While removing old ducts came to find out they never fiber coated the old ducts in the first place. Because I caught them at this and believe me they wanted photos (which thankfully I was smart enough to get), they refunded my $1900, but would not have without those photos.
5. Fell through ceiling again 2 places in the hall.
6. Once I had confirmation from 2 sources, another AC guy and the inspector, that the ceiling collapse was due to the faulty installation, I required them to fix the bedroom ceiling. They did come out but had to send someone else confident enough to match the knockdown.
7. Discovered that when they installed the new ducts, they didn't have the proper fitting vent covers on 2 vents and just left the drywall missing on the.one end without fixing it. Also. Left 3 open holes where they removed driver vents. The new drywall person came, Lennys Drywall out of Margate. He patched the ceiling hole, around the vents and the ventless holes; however, the ceiling patch is noticeable and Lennys used the wrong paint on my bathroom ceiling leaving it with pink blush colored paint on my white ceiling. I called Lennys and he said he would come back and fix, but never did, and now Air Around the Clock will not answer me to address these 2 ongoing issues.
8. Finally, while installing the new ducts, they trampled my alarm wires to the front half of the house so severly that they needed to be replaced. Air Around the Clock refused to accept responsibility for this, and it cost me another $1400 to have that repaired.
After the first two issues, they offered me 10 year warranty on both my units which I took instead of suing, but I feel you all should know the shear incompetence and lack of accountability they put me through for months. As a newly widowed woman I sure did not need this aggravation. -
Another service intervention that didn’t solve the problem. The workmanship with Air Around the Clock is externally bad. Im very disappointed.
Since my brand new AC unit was installed there have been several problems that have not been corrected. The AC fan rotation was inverted and it was replaced by a fan that is unbalanced and produces a horrible noise. The filer tray doesn’t work and we need to bend the filter when we replace it.
Poor quality control and service support. Terrible experience!! -
Well , where should I start! Starting off trying to get me to finance my a/c I was talked into financing but after seeing all the fine print I would have paid almost $20,000 for my a/c! Then after it was installed I have had nothing but problems. I have had numerous calls for repairs. They come out and tell me nothing is wrong. The fan motor went bad just over a year and they expected me to pay! In my opinion if I am paying so much for a new a/c I would expect to get service but not from Air Around the clock! Now that the warranty is over I am still having the same issues as before but they refuse to acknowledge there is an ongoing problem and they want me to pay for the repairs. I have to drain water out every other day because it gets so full of excess water. I asked for the thermostat to be replaced many times and they refused. I had to replace in my own and now one issue was resolved. I would not recommend this scam place to anyone! Horrible customer service, horrible service employees!

Reliable, professional, and honest technicians. Jason replaced the units inside and out, thermostat and overflow pan. Highly recommended.

Whatever I have a problem with my air conditioning I call best AC. The service is second to none and they always treat me fairly on the price!
