Everyone I spoke with and worked with were very professional, personable and honest. Cannon came to asses the issue with my unit. He was quick and thorough. He was very good about explaining my options.
Dawson and his crew came out to replace my unit shortly after. They made quick work of the removal and replacement unit. They were funny, nice and worked very cleanly. Definitely would recommend.

We needed some major duct cleaning here at our two story facility. We also needed all of our supply and return grills changed out (75-100 pieces). The team knew it would be a task so they were sure to show up with enough guys to get the job done in a timely fashion. They were on time both days and worked consistent until the job was completed. They were all professional with a great sense of humor (which we love). If we had any questions throughout the process they were always able to give us an answer. The morning following the work being done, we received numerous compliments from our personnel about how much of a difference they noticed in the air. The smell and the feel of the air was cleaner. Thank you for your hard work and helping us accomplish this goal. Great job Bold City!

We had 4 companies came to our house & gave us estimates. We chose Bold City because of the following reasons: First: It was highly recommended by the 2 AC technicians that my husband & I know & trust. Second: We were impressed with the reviews on Google & of course a family-owned company. Third: When Project Manager Ryan Clark came, he impressed us when he took an extra step that showed his genuine care & concern which the other companies did not. He also explained in detail what the company was offering. He was polite, helpful, knowledgeable & trustworthy. Last but not the least. They gave us a price that is within our budget, no hidden costs.
We also want to commend the excellent work of the 2 technicians Josie Tejada & Johnny Garcia. They took time & effort to make sure they would deliver the best installations, testings & clean ups. They explained to me maintenance, thermostat adjustments, and some other relevant stuff that I needed to know. They’re very confident in what they do, highly skilled, respectful & friendly.

I just got a new AC unit installed. The entire process has been so smooth. From booking the appointment to installation. Cannon and Dawson were incredibly knowledgeable, professional and kind. I had to work so my mom was there while the unit was installed. They were so helpful and answered all her questions. Truly the best customer service experience we’ve had!

Jacob is so nice to work with - he is respectful, listens intently, and works hard to solve any problems that we may have about our HVAC. He is knowledgeable but not pushy. I would be thrilled if he is our technician every time.

After researching all of their reviews, I decided to go with Bold City Heating and Air. The technician arrived on time, let me know when he was coming My technician was Cannon. He was really nice and knew exactly what was wrong with my system. He was super professional. He fixed it and told me exactly what I needed even offered me their program for maintenance. Definitely feel better about my A/C. He fixed it in under 60 minutes. Made sure that it was working before he left. Best experience ever. A+++

Update: I ended up having to get a whole new system. Josh and Trent came out and they did an amazing job. They were so patient in putting this thing together. Now I finally have air. They were the nicest guys and very personable. They walked me through the process of how to use the new system. A++++++++

Ryan is great and communicates very well! The installers were also great, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and quick! 6 stars!
Just don't get a mold fog remediation through them. It's actually from another company that I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Have always had great service with Bold City. We’ve been working with them for many years now and from regular maintenance to emergency calls, they’ve been super responsive and professional. It’s also super convenient that they text to schedule vs. call or email to schedule maintenance.

Dawson was very professional during his maintenance inspection . He also noticed that the air vents needed to be serviced and he explained how it’s done and the approximate amount of time it would take depending on whether 1 or 2 persons will be involved In
doing the work and the approximate cost. We also discussed installing a pump for the ac if the drain is not working properly. I am totally satisfied with all the work Dawson performed during the maintenance inspection and grateful for all his knowledge explaining everything we discussed.

Crew showed up on time got done earlier than expected. Everything was clean. They were quiet. I was able to work throughout the day while they were installing. Couldn’t have been more perfect. Happy with the service.

When our air conditioning stopped working, I called Bold City AC. Cannon W. was at my door in under 2 hours. He thoroughly examined and diagnosed our system and ultimately, we decided to go with a new system. He did not pressure a replacement, he answered all my questions and thoroughly explained our options. The next morning, Bold City came and replaced our AC unit. Randolph P was the install technician. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and cleaned up thoroughly. I am so glad that I chose Bold City - I strongly recommend them and glad I went with a local family owned business.

I love that I found this company. I previously purchased a new unit with another company and the whole experience was a nightmare including the ac unit I bought 5 years ago. To my surprise, all the fixing my old unit did not make sense financially so I purchased a new unit from Bold City Heating & Air. I called on Wednesday for service. The very next day my new ac system was installed and running to perfection. The integrity extended was a bonus for previously purchased plan. I really appreciate that as well as the top tier service. Edwin did an excellent job with my A/C service. He was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and made several suggestions for future reference.

​DO NOT TRUST: Predatory Sales, Negligence, and Personal Attacks

​I have been a loyal customer for years, but this has been a nightmare. I called Bold City to address a dead animal smell coming from one room. The HVAC tech spent 90 minutes in my attic and pressured me for a $9,000+ duct replacement, claiming it was the "only option" to get rid of the smell. The next day, a wildlife specialist found a massive rat infestation with droppings everywhere within five minutes—something the HVAC tech completely "missed." Replacing the ducts without fixing the pests would have been a $9,000 mistake and not addressed my problem.

​When I tried to pause because I was uncomfortable, I was guilt-tripped and told "five people would not get paid" because of me. When I exercised my legal 3-day right to cancel, the manager became aggressive.

​When I spoke to the owner, he called me a "dishonest person" and said I am not the type of person they want to do business with. He then threatened to withhold my deposit if I posted a review and also demanded I write him an email stating I would never mention his company again if I ever wanted to see my money back. Although it isn't a huge deposit, it should not be held hostage. The company also failed to pull legally required permits before starting work.

A formal complaint has been filed with the State of Florida Consumer Protection Division in hopes that this doesn't happen to someone else. STAY AWAY.

Bold City Air is the best in Florida. Attention to detail. Never taking a shortcut. Very pleased and have recommended them numerous times to my friends and family! Dawson and Josie were amazing. Answered all my questions. Made sure they cleaned up after they left very respectful and proficient and I bug them a lot LOL Love love love!

Bold City installed two HVAC systems at my home last November and I just had my second Maintenance service completed today by Dawson Crosby. He was professional, knowledgeable, considerate (putting shoe booties on - taking booties off - when entering and leaving the house). And my dog liked him too !!
His attention to detail and informing me about the service and operation of my system was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Bold City for their expertise with installation and the Maintenance afterward.
