We reached out to this remodeling contractor for a project quote, but even after two weeks, we still haven’t received it. We followed up by email only to be told that it would take even longer to prepare the estimate. Meanwhile, their competitors were able to provide detailed quotes within just a few days.

Overall, the experience has been disappointing — slow response times and poor communication don’t inspire much confidence. We decided to move forward with another company that values our time and follows through more efficiently.

Gomez was so easy to work with and the results are amazing. They are professional, responsive, timely and we loved working with them. We would definitely use them again for work on our home!

Hands down, one of the best decisions we made in regards to home renovation was to hire Gomez Contractors. One of our initial concerns in taking on a renovation project was making sure we stayed within our budget while getting a quality result. Simon’s team definitely delivered! We recently asked them to customize our master bathroom and we could not be more pleased with the results. The whole process from initial consultation, to demo and construction, and final touches went very smoothly. Our project manager, Chris, was very detail oriented, extremely communicative and kept us informed along the way. I also appreciated how clean the crew was and their attempts to protect the rest of the house while working on the master bathroom. We hope to work with them again on another project in the future!

Over the past 25 years, I have gone through 15 different renovations in 3 different states (California, Tennessee, and Florida). We recently completed a major renovation project that included a new kitchen, laundry room, family room, and wet bar, and we couldn’t be happier with the results— thanks to Gomez contractors. From start to finish, they went above and beyond in every aspect of the job.

Our renovation touched every room including 2 baths and the removal of a wall. We didn’t stay in the house during reno but had weekly progress reports and pictures from our Project Manager, Chris B. Chris was excellent and although he has been doing his job for years, he has never lost sight that a renovation is a big, stressful and expensive deal for the client. The trades that they use are very good, but the tile installers and kitchen cabinet teams are master craftsmen. Tile cuts, spacing and layout are exceptional. The kitchen installers embraced our project and went beyond the basic plan and added detail and finish moldings that took extra time and effort. The results rival the appearance of fully custom kitchens in homes double our price point.
Our only criticism would be that we sometimes had to extract details of the plan instead of those details being communicated to us. To be fair, most of the decisions made would have been ours too - but not all - and we are the ones living in the home. We would have enjoyed the process more if the Spec Book had been shared with us once created. It is the detailed plan for the work being performed for US on our home. That being said, we are extremely happy with our final result and with Gomez Contractors. In fact we had work thought to be needed, but once the walls were opened up they discovered the work had been done previously so they called us with the good news and gave us a credit. We would have never known and we were impressed with their honesty.

I bought a New home from this company and it’s been a nightmare.. From doors having to be reset, to hidden damaged cabinets to faulted plumbing..
This builder is dishonest and his warranty was never honored.. legal counsel now has to be involved..

Coastal Reconstruction Group has recently finished the renovation of our assisted living and memory care community in Sarasota. Brad Shaffer and his team were not only professional but showed compassion for our residents. His team smiled and greeted our residents every day. Going through renovation in assisted living isn’t easy but Brad and his team worked hard to make our community beautiful and something to be proud of. Our residents are loving the new look!

Coastal Reconstruction Group has been a valuable partner for Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida and the disaster assistance required after Hurricane Michael, a massive Category 5 storm that made landfall in October 2018, left the Panama City and surrounding areas in complete devastation. Recovery efforts are steady, but not without continuous help from CRC. We have experienced firsthand how they have gone above and beyond in all they do. The attention to detail, work ethic, punctuality, communication response, and more are at the heart of bringing life back to a community that needs it most. Our retirement community has been experiencing a full renovation which will end up spanning across approximately 7 months and I cannot say enough good about how wonderful this experience has been... because of the team from Coastal! Chad and his team have led this project with the utmost of professionalism and genuine care and concern that they are conducting this project in the home of our residents. On a daily basis I have residents telling me how wonderful they are. They clean up after themselves as they are working and have treated our residents kindly, friendly and with respect. The quality of the work they do is equal to their kindness and professionalism! We are truly going to miss them once the project is complete!
