Darrell called an hour before arrival and arrived on time. He was cordial, and very efficient! After troubleshooting the problem, he found the part that needed replacing and within 30 minutes, my washing machine was up and running again! Fantastic experience! I would avoid this company if at all possible. They are extremely irresponsible and show no consideration for their customers’ time or needs. This company was contracted through my home warranty service, and this issue has been ongoing since November.

They first came out on December 12 to evaluate my washer and ordered parts. I was then scheduled for December 22. I was given a service window of 2–5 PM and was told I would receive a call 30 minutes before arrival. A previous technician had informed me that I could leave the garage open so the technician could access the washer, which would allow me to avoid missing too much work.

However, on the day of the appointment, I received a call at 1:30 PM saying the technician was on his way and would arrive at 1:45 PM. When I explained I would open the garage, I was told that was not allowed and that if I wasn’t home when he arrived, they would have to reschedule—even though the service window was 2–5 PM. Thankfully, my sister was on vacation and was able to come over at the last minute.

Five minutes after I arrived home, the technician informed me he could not complete the repair because another part was needed. He told me they would return as soon as the part arrived, likely within two days or by the end of the week. That week was Christmas, so I was understanding.

After Christmas, they scheduled me for January 7 because nothing else was available. I was supposedly placed on a cancellation list, but no one ever canceled. Yesterday evening, I received a text confirming today’s appointment but with no time window, which was already unusual. I took the day off work because I truly need my washer.

This morning, I received a text stating they did not have a technician available. When I called, I was told the next available appointment is January 14, which is completely unacceptable. I have been waiting over a month for this repair. They stated that the best they can do was to place me under the cancellation list, which we know is not going to happen.

This is not about the money—it’s about the poor service, lack of communication, and total disregard for the customer’s time. I am paying for a service that is supposed to provide peace of mind, and instead I have had nothing but stress and inconvenience. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Jeremy was great but unfortunately the first visit was not successful because he had been given an incorrect part for my machine. When he came back Monday he very quickly got my Whirlpool Spinning and A Draining again. Jeremy is very personable and a great representative of your company.

Joshua has provided excellent service, professionalism, and knowledge on multiple occasions. I cannot speak on price as appliances are under warranty so I only mention the technician, his quick diagnosis and repair/resolution. He took good care while moving appliances by using floor slides, as well as ensuring he did not bump into walls, etc.

Our service technician showed up as scheduled. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Showed us the error codes & explained the work that had to be completed, along with a detailed price. He satisfactorily completed all of the work and asked us if we wanted the old parts returned. Exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend. Pleas thank him for us.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. This was by far the best home repair experience I have ever had (and I've had many). Pedro was not only on-time, personable and professional but, most importantly, extremely competent. He was able to diagnose and completely solve my rather involved repair issue in record time. December 15, 2025 Update on my December 2 review: the technician called back, apologized for the delay and set up an appointment. I received an email giving me the window when the technician would come. I confirmed my appointment and the technician came right on time. This time it was Douglas, and he truly saved the day for me! The diagnosis was not correct, instead it was a clogged drain line and he showed me all the junk coming out as he cleared it. The system had iced up again so he de-iced it and put everything back very nicely. He saved me over $700 for a repair that I did not need and there was no further charge, since I had already paid $352 for the same issue that was not resolved on the last two visits. Thank God for Douglas! This is the same situation I found myself in with a double oven repair, and Douglas was the one who realized a misdiagnosis and fixed it correctly. Douglas, deserves a raise and I’m very grateful for him!

Update on my November review: after paying $352, the refrigerator’s icemaker worked for a few days and then stopped working. I called Flamingo, made an appointment and the technician came back on December 2. He said it was now the sealed refrigeration system causing the icemaker not to work and it would probably be around $2100. Since it could still be under warranty he said he would talk with his supervisor and call me back that night or the next day. He did not call back. I called Flamingo and no one answers the phone but they recommend you text them. I texted them. A text came back that they were busy but someone would respond. Then another text came that the technician would contact me. I have had no call back from the technician. This has become very frustrating that the communication is so poor.

November 3, 2025 I have used Flamingo Appliance Service since they were named Fields Appliance. I have had great service from them, with professional employees. This time it was Chris who came to repair my refrigerator. Flamingo, and then Chris, was excellent in communicating what time he would arrive. He took time to diagnose what was wrong with my refrigerator and communicated what it would cost to fix it. He proceeded to repair my refrigerator, and then placed all the food back so nicely in the refrigerator. I continue to be pleased with Flamingo Appliance Service and I highly recommend them.

Very quick, friendly and corrected my new whirlpool of the oven turntable. Could’ve turned out bad being it’s a little over my head and the turntable was incorrect wiggling all over the place. After a short while he had everything fixed and up and running

Rick is amazing! He fixed my washer in like 5 minutes, he was super nice, and it didn't cost me a cent. Whirlpool paid to l them to fix a defective part and my installer, Rick, was very knowledgeable and his service was fire!!!

Darren was great he called to say he was ahead of schedule so that was very convenient for me. He was very courteous and put some covers on his shoes as he entered my house. He was very quick and gave me helpful information as he replaced our part which was still under warranty so there was no cost to us for his repair. I believe he was in and out in about 30 minutes just about he was great!

We really appreciate having him come out again to deal with this dishwasher. He has a great attitude. He brought all the parts we would need and was quick and efficient. Thankfully, it was still covered under warranty so we had no cost. Otherwise, the cost for the service call would have been $159 and the total cost for that and to replace the pump would have been over $500.

I was so happy my service technician Tyler got to my house earlier than expected. What a great surprise. He was so nice and polite, great personality. I loved the slip on shoe coverings he put on to keep dirt off the floors. He got my washing machine fixed fast. Im glad it was an easy fix too. If I ever need Flamingo in the future for any more appliance repairs,I hope they send him back. He was professional and very courteous. Awesome job Tyler!!
