Failed to recognize and treat cinch bugs and sedge. Had them for almost 3 years and now having to spend $1K to resod multiple areas. Very inexperienced technicians and you never see the same one twice.

I've been using TruGreen to help me maintain my lawn since I purchased my home for the last 5 years. Great prices, services and staff, I will continue using them to help me maintain my lawn.

I used Tru Green in New York and had the best non-sodded lawn on the block. So, when we moved to Florida I hired Tru Green expecting similar results. BIG MISTAKE. I now have the worst looking lawn on the block. Here are my issues:
1. I required a printout of their work summary for each application ( so I know what they did or were supposed to do) if I received a summary 50% of the time it was alot.
2. The mystery service. My wife was working from home. Her office faces my front yard. She did not see them show up. I did not get my summary printout and they did not even put their Tru Green stake on my lawn. I considered this a no show. They charged me anyway.
3. A supervisor was supposed to come and evaluate my lawn. I tracked his way to my house online. When it showed he arrived I opened my door.... nobody was there.. 2 minutes later I received a text stating my service was complete. Another no show....
My lawn looked great when I first moved in. Here is what it looks like now. A few pictures are worth a thousand words.

Terrible quality. My lawn was green and healthy whole winter until I sign with Truegreen. The very first service and my grass almost died. Now my neighbors who has no grass services at all has better grass then my. I can't believe. If you want green and healthy grass - don't use Truegreen!

Arrived as scheduled. I had a great conversation with Jordan regarding a few questions I had. Today is the first application so the results are at least a couple of weeks away. I'm happy with the customer service. The product quality is yet to be determined. That's not a negative statement. I'll update this review when the results are in.

The side of our home on the front is not being treated. This side was included in our treatment plan. Unfortunately we are not home when services our being provided and believe they are not treating this side. The front center looks really nice and treated……..Please Help

I don’t think they help my yard one bit. They’ve come all year long. My yard looks terrible. They never call before they come. They said they would but they never did each time. I told them to call before they come again.

The interesting thing is I believe TruGreen is the best of the worst. I spend too much of my time fixing problems they don’t seem to handle. I have tried other companies and none really step up and take above fair average care of the lawn

I live in an HOA where the Association provides lawn service including fertilization. I've complained numerous times about the our lawns not being fully serviced The techs fly down the street spraying the front yard - no side or bacj yard service.

Despite having this service for nearly two years, my lawn is frequently full of brown patches and weeds. The only time my lawn ever looks good is when I call and complain, then they come and treat it properly - then it looks absolutely beautiful for a few months.

The technicians should be able to see that their current treatment plan is NOT working and adjust. It is tiresome having to constantly go back and forth with customer service and the service managers to get them to properly complete the basic service that they were hired for.

Today Robert S. treated our lawn for weed and lawn pest control. He was prompt & professional and showed up 15 mins before expected. Also I appreciated that he rang the door bell to let me know he was here before entering the backyard since I have 2 dogs…thank you for a job well done!

So far True green aha not provided the service they claim to do. I’ve been paying for a year and since I work and am single parent they have taken advantage of the fact I’m not home to check if they are even applying the service. I was told today that they have been fertilizing my grass but I have out of control weeds and instead of applying weed killer. So I e paid one year for them

My weeds are I control. I will be calling the better business bureau if they do not work with me. So this company you have to make sure they say what they are going to do. Be on top of them.

Daniel F. did an amazing job in air rating my lawn front and back. He was extremely professional. I saw him physically, pulling up clumps of weeds that should not be in my yard, and I’m very grateful for his attention to detail.

From start to when we terminated service with TruGreen was a total nightmare! How does the first tech show up at 6:45 am when it's dark to "treat" our lawn. From the initial visit to two weeks later we had zero grass. We finally cancelled after many broken promises to do right and then we're told they couldn't help us restore bc we were no longer a client. How many paid visits of disappointment would anyone put up with before terminating service. It got so bad they accidentally treated our neighbors lawn. Save yourself and your lawn the trouble. Find a company that cares and can admit when they messed up. After multi representatives stated they would do their best to make things right, the "regional manager" got angry and showed up to our resident saying our previous photos were photos shopped. He was very aggressive until he noticed the cameras recording next door. Again save your time and hard earned money for a company with values.

The actual worst company I’ve ever worked with. Their sales tactics are so predatory and bullying. They will not stop coming to my door unannounced and unrequested. I have asked repeatedly for them to stop and told them I don’t want their service. The next time they show up, I will call the authorities.

I’m giving one star to the wonderful lady in customer service that assisted me. Otherwise, my yard has been an absolute disaster since using this company. My lawn that was once green is now full of brown spots, and the weeds grew completely out of control (my backyard, which hasn’t been touched by their products, is still green and intact). I received my first notice of violation from the HOA as a result. Beware of this company…I do not recommend at all.

All is well. Please have the technician change the sign place in the yard previously as a way to prove he/she was actually at the property. Often times I come home to the old sign from the previous month and left wondering if someone actually came to my home to complete the service. Overall, good job.

TruGreen told me my first visit would be 50% off ($34.98), so I decided to give them a try. They finished my yard in about 15 minutes — super fast — but when I got the bill, it was for $149.87. What a disappointment. Feels like false advertising and a total scam. They’ve completely lost my trust.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CONSIDERING TRUE GREEN!

I would give Zero Stars if I had the option. I had them service my property for over a year and had no results. My neighbors lawn that had no treatment looked the same as mine. Grass dying, full of weeds... After talking to them and asking for someone to review the treatment nothing was done and nobody called. When I asked them to cancel my service, somebody finally called me and to say I was "being dumb" for canceling my service and that the company made over 1.6 billion dollars last year.... Awful customer service from all possible aspects.

UPDATE:
I found out the person I talked to was a branch manager. He notated my account refusing to refund me for the poor service. Now anytime I call this company, they will just say "they are sorry" and that there is nothing they can do.
