The after hours cost was absolutely predatory, especially when they cannot guarantee completion of the job. We ended up paying the after hours late fee of $125 just to show up. If this were some kind of luxury service, different story, but if somebody’s house is not usable, and they have to choose between paying predatory prices or not having water, they don’t have much choice and companies like this take advantage of that. He made a 2 x 2 hole in our wall that took him literally two minutes and we had to pay $220 for that plus $125 fee to show up after hours. We were told that the 220 would cover him finding the leak as long as he was able to find it within an hour but because it was underneath the slab, he stopped it and decided to just charge us 220 anyway, without finding the leak. So in total they took $345 from us and then said yeah we can’t do any work because it’s too late and we’re not allowed to make noise past 8 PM. And to top it all off the technician told us that the mold that we had would not be an issue, and that they would still come out to work on our leak the next day. He lied and they told us that they would not be coming over to do any work due to the mold. So now they got $345 for driving over here and cutting a 4 ft.² hole in my drywall and still didn’t identify the leak. I could ask a four-year-old with a hammer to do that. The only reason they’re not getting a one star because the technician that came out although he lied was professional, and did seem to know what he was talking about even if they were charging predatory prices. if you have other options, I recommend because I don’t believe in rewarding bad customer service, and predatory practices

Definitely be careful with their warranty. They don’t explain it very well. Job wasn’t done right the first time, and they had to come back out. Technicians are kind though, but definitely very expensive for what you get, can probably find better elsewhere, and much cheaper.

Alphonso came out to replace main water valve and bathroom valve that were both stripped. He was friendly, responsive, organized, cleaned the work area, and answered all my questions. He resolved the issues. I have called Reliance before and will continue to do so.
