Plumbing reviews in Orlando, Florida

Used Shamrock for getting house repiped. They did a great job! Later, called them again to clear a clog in the main drain. - The work they did only temporarily solved my problem. Ended up calling another company who did a more thorough job, was cheaper and also provided video through the pipes to ensure no tree root damage. So I guess it pays to shop around.

Carlos was excellent! He came in and identified the problem immediately.he was very professional and explained to us exactly what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. We will definitely use Shamrock plumbing again!

We had an issue with our washer backing up into our house. Called Shamrock and were at first happy with the service and that they were able to get someone out before the holiday. We were told it was likely a grease blockage (even though we are very cautious about what we put down our drain.) He didn’t look at the washer once. We were told we could snake it from the roof, but that Endure enzyme cleaner would fix the issue. We’ve used as directed and 5 days later, our washer backs up into our house on the first use. We called Shamrock. They wanted to charge yet another service fee. We already paid a service fee on the original visit and the “solution” didn’t fix the original problem. We will take our business to a company that stands by their work.

Shamrock plumbing did an amazing job when we had a water main leak under our slab. Jason advised us of all the options and answered our questions thoroughly. David, Brandon, Alex and Jay treated our home with great care as the expertly repiped. Their attention to detail is still felt. Highly recommend them!

Levi, was my plumbing technician from Shamrock Plumbing and he was a first class professional from beginning to end.
He arrived on time and went right to work.
I had 2 plumbing tasks for him and in 30-40 minutes he had them both taken care of.
He did a great job, cleaned up any mess that was made and was professional from start to finish.
I highly recommend Levi from Shamrock Plumbing for any plumbing work that you may have. 🍀

This company missed out on a huge repair and it's their own fault. Called them out because my washer kept continuously backing up. I asked for a camera inspection as this was a recurring issue and I wanted a permanent diagnosis of the issue and a fix. Technician arrived, declared he couldn't camera anything (there's a roof cleanout that tied directly into the line where the issue was, more on that later). He still came inside and I described the issue. Without even doing any diagnostic work on the washer that was giving us issues, barely running any water in the home, and certainly never verifying the issue, he immediately declared it a grease issue and provided us with an $80 bottle of grease treatment. He additionally spent about an hour in his truck getting the paperwork together and giving me the product. Very respectful of my time. I was still skeptical but he's an expert, right? Gave it 5 days of using the product multiple times per day per the direction of the technician and when we went to use the washer, immediate backup. That obviously didn't fix it. My first call was back to Shamrock. They wanted to charge another service fee. Upon explanation of the circumstances and upon request wouldn't waive the fee. Another fee just to walk back in the door to fix the problem I already called them to fix once and they failed. This is a company that clearly doesn't stand by their work if they want to charge customers to walk through the door again for an issue they were just there less than a week ago to fix. I was going giving them another chance but they wanted to charge again just to step inside my house so I instead elected to call Roto Rooter. They spent 7 hours at my house attempting to diagnose and remedy the problem. Absolutely incredible service. Eventually they used a camera from the roof cleanout to check out the line. The camera inspection, which is what I initially called out Shamrock for in the first place but they said wasn't possible, found roots in the line. I happily paid Roto Rooter for the multi thousand dollar repair that would've went to Shamrock had they either actually done diagnostic work and utilized a camera on my line on the initial visit as requested or waived their service fee to come take a second look at things upon their initial solution not working. Instead, I happily went a different direction and will make sure to never recommend Shamrock to anyone.

Called Shamrock to diagnose and fix a leaking electric water heater. John was absolutely incredible in providing the best possible customer service, explaining everything thoroughly to educate customers and providing all possible options for repair and maintenance moving forward! Highly recommend John with Shamrock to anyone in need of plumbing services! 10/10!!!

This was our second time working with shamrock, we used them to repipe our entire house a few years ago and install all new plumbing fixtures including toilets. This time we called them to install a new sink and faucet in our kitchen after renovation. Levi was very professional, efficient, and answered my questions. He also arrived on time and tested items were up and running before he left. I would not hesitate to use them a third time, great company!

I’ve spent over $20,000 with this company in the last few years. I I recommended them and gave them all my business. I asked them to come do an estimate for me in November. They came out and spent about an hour and a half at my house taking down the details.. It’s now February and I’ve never heard back from them. I’ve called the office five times every time they tell me the manager is gonna call me back with my estimate. I’ve still never got a call back. The first time I called him the excuse for not calling me back was they don’t know the price of pipe, so my estimates been delayed. One of the biggest plumbing companies in Orlando doesn’t know the price of 100 feet of pipe so they can’t give me an estimate while I wait for 2 1/2 months. I expressed to the secretary that found that hard to believe. If you don’t want the job, just say you don’t want the job. Don’t tell me you’re gonna call me back five times and then never call me back. That’s no way to treat a loyal customer that brings you repeat business and refers you to others.

Highly recommend Shamrock Plumbing! I’ve been using their services since 2022 at my homes. Shamrock has the best team of experts out in the field and in their office. Their office staff is pleasant and knowledgeable.
Shawn H. performed exceptional expertise and professionalism while performing our repairs. -
5 star experience from start to finish. We had a total re-pipe of our house, the 5 man team who undertook the work were incredible, fast, efficient and respectful. The office and drywall/plastering teams were equally as amazing. Overall cost also very reasonable versus a competitor. Don't bother getting other estimates, these guys are by far the best, go straight to Shamrock!

I just had a whole home re-pipe done and I have to say the process was efficient clean quick and I no longer have to worry about plumbing issues in the near future for a while. They were the most cost-effective company and for what I received I have to say it was an excellent value! I will definitely be using Shamrock plumbing again for any plumbing needs I have! Additionally, the warranty offered it can’t be beat. Thank you Shamrock!

My A/C guys recommended Shamrock Plumbing for fixing a leaking water heater. Technician Carlos was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and arrived right on time. The installation of the new water heater process was fast, efficient and very neatly done. In addition to that I decided to replace the old water softener which was not working properly. Carlos explained the latest technology about it so I don’t hesitate to invest in it, because once you try whole house water softeners, you cannot be happy living without it. No more hard water, besides the pipes, tubs, toilets, sinks, trust me your skin and hair will appreciate it. Awesome company, costumer service and Technician. I’ll use them again!!

First time using Harvey Baker Plumbing. Called for an appointment to replace a toilet, and the tech arrived during the promised half-hour window. He was courteous and professional.
He quoted me $150.00 to perform the replacement, Including haul-away, which was very reasonable. He executed the replacement, which included grout removal and replacement in about an hour (Note: I had drained all water from the existing unit the night before to save time).
Once that work was completed and tested, I also asked him to assess a leaking thermal expansion valve on my exterior wall. He had the parts on hand to replace the valve so I asked him to complete that job as well.
Total time on-site to complete both jobs and complete billing was about 90 minutes. Total charges for the jobs (toilet replacement w/ haul away and thermal expansion valve replacement) was $228.00, which included about $40 for parts (new valve, better wax ring and new bolts). I find this cost quite reasonable.
Now 36 hours later, and no leaks present so I think I’m in good shape. I was very pleased with the service and will use this company again in the future. -
Harvey Baker Plumbing helped repair a toilet and sink that would not drain. The tech was very prompt for the appointment, went right to work and was very professional. Their fees are very reasonable and the bills were very detailed so I knew exactly what was done. I would (and have) recommend them to anyone needing a good plumber.

I had a water main break at my home and three plumbers came to my house prior to Harvey Baker Plumbing and they were either busy and couldn't come back for a week or they were 10 times as expensive as what Harvey Baker Plumbing ended up costing. Jacob was the technician that responded to my house and he was able to quickly go over the options and thoroughly walked me through the materials and processes (at my request) and went above and beyond on explaining the types of fittings and connections he was replacing my damaged pipes/fittings with. He was done with the job in under 2 hours and I will definitely call upon Harvey Baker Plumbing for future needs.

$325 to unclog kitchen sink and add putty to stop small leak under the sink. The most recent time I used them was on 12/28/2022. The plumber's name is Wayne. I referred them to my parent's house because I've used them before and they did a good job. This time, the issue I had was the lack of the communication throughout the process of unclogging the kitchen sink. Wayne was great, but surprised me and my parents with the total price until the end when the repair was already done. I would have appreciated "Hey, this will cost you X dollars if I do this.", but we did not get that. After he unclogged it, I asked what it would cost and he gave me a rough estimate, but he had to write it up fully. Whatever. We paid it because we don't own an electric snake that goes up to 100 feet. I called their office and the first person was apologetic about the lack of pricing communication. They said they'd call me back after they talked to the tech. When they called me back, it was another person and they had no remorse. The price is the price. I'll definitely shop around and not blindly trust them with the next job.
Update: Harvey reached out after seeing my review. It’s nice for a business owner listening to their customers and making it right. Originally a 3 star review, but he made it right. Thanks! -
I have used Harvey Baker before. I found I needed him again regarding a rental property I own. They sent out a tech, and to be honest, did not perform the work correctly. I called the office and complained. Harvey himself called me back and met me on site. Once he reviewed what had been done, he fixed the problem himself and was perfect. I'm a firm believer that we all can make a mistake. It is how we correct the mistake that we should be judged on. I believe in Harvey Baker Plumbing 1000% and would refer them to anyone. They are a top notch company.

I wanted to pop on here to rave about Harvey Baker Plumbing, Inc, a local Conway business. Unfortunately, I was one of the many families whose house (not in a flood zone) was completely flooded by Hurricane Ian. One of the many things that wasn’t working after sitting in flood waters was my hot water heater. Because we were not going to get any assistance from my homeowners insurance, I have gotten multiple quotes for everything. Harvey Baker Plumbing was the only company who did not insist the hot water heater had to be replaced. All other companies came back with with estimates ranging between $3K - $5K. Harvey Baker’s response “We can fix that. No problem.” They even went the extra mile to call Rheem and have the part shipped to me FOR FREE. When the part arrived they sent over a service manager who had it fixed in under an hour charging for labor only. We have hot water for basically a negligible dent in my repair budget. I cannot recommend this company enough. Thank you, Harvey Baker with a special shout out to Morning Baker who kindly responded to all my calls and emails and Joe who saved the hot water heater for almost no money.

If you want honest plumbers, this is the business you want. I have found there are too many unscrupulous service people waiting to pounce. This company would be your better angels of the business world. They tell you up front what the rates are, they don’t try to drive up your rate by engaging contractors that are on the take and aren’t needed. They go in, assess the problem, and fix it. That simple. This is the only plumbing service I trust. Thanks, Neil and Brandon! You saved my bacon!

We had to replace a toilet and shut off valve that were both leaking badly with water on the floor. It was done properly and included removal and disposal of all old components plus trash. The caulking was done expertly, too. The plumber was thorough, very nice and on time. This was our first experience with Harvey Baker Plumbing; we plan to renovate both bathrooms soon and will use them again.
