Plumbing reviews in Orlando, Florida

Great service as always. Used for many yrs for my house, rentals and my Mom. Fair prices for plumbing and sprinklers. Doesn't waste time to charge you more.

JPI is a company that I and my company work with on a constant basis, throughout the Orlando area. Their journeymen are the best in the business, without question. Their dispatching is fast and they always send the right guy for the job.

Ask for Elliott! He was awesome. On time, helpful and did job quickly. Definitely would recommend. Even threw a few curveballs at him and handled it easily!

Really poor and honestly shrewd business conduct. I
called them to fix my toilet that would flood whenever
you flush. They supposedly fix the problem. I called them the very next morning to tell them the toilet still floods. Their response was if we come out there we will have to charge you.
I thought it was a joke. Now I have to pay another company to cone fix the problem. -
I asked to repair a shower faucet. They sent me a worker who did not know the kind of shower faucet or how to fix it, and he did not have the equipment to fix it. He asked to replace all the faucet for $460. I refused and got another company to fix the faucet in 10 minutes. After that, the Jim's company asked me for $100 for wasting my time and nothing, please no one gave him the credit card details

Fast response & great customer service. Our plumber (Tim or Tom) was awesome. Friendly, efficient, and tidy! Highly recommended Jim's plumbing!

The repairs went fine, but the person they sent out to do the job did not have a face mask on when he entered the premises, and complained to our apartment management that I made him put one on despite the global COVID pandemic still being active. Unbelievably unprofessional.

Have been having toliet issues since January at my appartment and every time Jim's would come out say it's fixed and a couple of weeks later the same problem would occur Jim's would come out say they fix it and the problem kept coming back. Finally had a different company came out and said it was a major issue and all Jim's would do is clean it up idk why they couldn't fix it the first time instead of making me and my family live in unsanitary conditions for almost 3 months. Do not hire this company

I am a Chief Engineer and work at several buildings and only use Jim's Plumbing and Irrigation for all my plumbing needs. Gil, the service tech that services the buildings, is one of the main reasons why. He is an excellent communicator, knowledgeable, and professional. Gil knows what needs to be done to get the job done.

I called and spoke to Diana who knew exactly who to send for my type of problem. She sent John, who expertly and quickly made the repair. It cost less than I would have expected too. Very happy customer!

This company is a thief. They came to my office on June 29,2018 for a service because one of my bathroom line was clogged and they charged me for a service they did not do. When I told the person who was doing the service to show me what he found there , he told me what a woman's tampon (Feminine Hygiene ). When he showed it to me I started to laugh and I really told him really that small piece clot my line of the bathroom .I can not believe now they send me an invoice saying that it is paper towel people you must be careful this company are not to be honest with the client . Before they leave your office tell them to show you what they have .They have already come to the office three times and it is always the same thing with them. Talking with the other person next door they told me they did the same to them . Don't contact this company to do any service .

We had the pleasure of dealing with Jim's Plumbing twice in mid to late December last year. We live in an apartment complex where some of our plumbing is shared with the unit above ours. One morning, the kitchen sink started gurgling and backed up, almost overflowing a few times. The same thing happened again 9 days later, as it turned out our upstairs neighbors were putting things like rice, grease, and chicken bone down their garbage disposal and blocking the pipes. On both occasions, Jim's Plumbing made it out here in under 90 minutes and knew exactly what to do. We weren't even charged the second time, as our worker, Eric, said it was warranty work. He also preserved some of the sludge that he pulled out so we could show the apartment office and let them notify our neighbors. He was recommended to us by our neighborhood maintenance crew, and lived up to our expectations. If we ever have any plumbing problems again, we know who to call!

I called Jim's for a clogged drain that had given us trouble for years. I was sure it was going to take a couple hours. They arrived within 30 minutes and had the drain opened in 15 minutes. Very professional, very courteous, knowledgeable, experienced, and many other good descriptions. I'd definitely recommend them, anytime.

I called the plumbing place and was greeted by an incompetent woman who said the earliest they can get an estimator is in two weeks because the plumber was "slammed." So after I requested to put us on their calendar in two weeks, I was put on hold for a couple minutes, only to be told that "they no longer do re-piping." After I asked her to refer me to another vendor, she said, "I really don't know." Please hire competent staff, or at least train people to find out the answers - because she just lost a paying customer.

Found "Jim" to be less than trustful. For instance, our rain sensor was working until he "checked" it, then he wanted over a hundred dollars for the part ( for a rain sensor? ). This was in addition to charging NINETY dollars an hour for the estimate. All the while being condescending and making me feel like I was being taken advantage of. Did I mention I am female? Wonder if he treats guys the same way. Anyway, I gave him the 90 dollars, and had someone else look at the rain sensor. Guess what? The wire had been removed and it took a few turns of the screwdriver to fix it. No charge! Thanks Jim, for taking advantage of someone and getting bad word of mouth as I tell everyone I know about you.

On 5-30-2014, I had called for some help on a plugged drain just before quitting time. At first I was informed that it would involve an after hours service charge. Dawn the dispatcher made some calls and found that a service tech was close to my location and subsequently quoted me a normal charge without being after hours. THANK YOU DAWN !! Rodney the tech who responded was not only very experienced but also had a really good people to people personality. He went above the call of duty responding so close to quitting time and did a tremendous job repairing my problem. If anyone out there needs a plumber, I would call Jim's Plumbing first.

They moved fast and very friendly all around. Communicated great while I was 3 hours away from the property that needed service. Installer "RD" did a fantastic job with the install and clean up. Happy to recommend and/or use them again.

Explained the situation was an HVAC line, and they said worst case they would be able to diagnose the problem. I even offered to send pictures, and fully explained it was a chilled line issue for the HVAC system. When the service tech arrived, he said he couldn't diagnose, as it was an HVAC issue. I explained the original conversation, and asked him to leave - as there was no reason to be there. I called back and explained the situation the next day to a gentleman, and he said he would call me back (of course never did). Then 2 weeks later I received a charge. I called back, and explained the situation, and the lady raised her voice, and basically said tough luck. Extremely unprofessional. It was completely their error, and they should have never sent anyone out for an HVAC job that was not something they could diagnose nor handle. They GUARANTEED they'd at least be able to diagnose.

I called Jim's Plumbing to fix and issue with tree roots compromising the drainage line from the house to the sewer. They came out and found the issue and gave me a quote based on the work that needed to be completed. In the middle of the job they found out that it was over-scoped the time for the repair and adjusted it down saving me money on the repair.
I couldn't be happier with the staff there: Darren (Estimator), Gram (troubleshooter), Javier and Gil(did the replacement), and Will (sink repair that was added on). This company was very honest and I love supporting local business with this level of professionalism. -
The repair person was very prompt for both service calls. He was also extremely polite and professional and I never felt like he was trying to confuse or complicate things as we talked through the scope of work.
Part of the service was something quick and easy for him but it would have taken me hours to do! The second repair was a bit more of an unknown; it could have been easy, or been a big issue. As it turned out, there was a complication but again, JJ was super knowledgeable and his expertise took a complicated situation into one that he expertly resolved.
I will definitely use Jim's Plumbing again!
