I did some tests that I read about with a google search (stick push test for a humming motor) which google said was a bad run capacitor (3 prongs) other capacitors can have 2 prongs. I called and the gentleman running the desk answered, confirmed my assumptions, I brought in the old cap with pics of everything schematics, labels, etc. He tested it with an ohm meter, did not need the pics, and he was able to get a capacitor within a minute or so and explained a few things to me. I now have running AC for a fraction of the cost to hire someone who said I needed a new system after only 4 years. These guys are a great resource for not only parts but helpful information as well, e.g I bought some algae tablets for slime plugging up my drain pipe. That clog cost me over $100 to figure it out to only have the tech vacuum the drain and for it to grow more slime and clog again this summer which I vacuumed out. I got the tablets to prevent black mold etc from going and some my wife doesn't have to vacuum algae if I am not at home. As a newer home owner I now know where to go in the future for anything else!

Knowledgeable people, also, you don't have to have a license to buy equipment there no hassle. They also took the time to look up parts and order for me to pick up. 2/15/22 no change in the professional service

I've been there and purchased Parts twice, Parts were in stock, technical advice was on the money and prices were very good. Refreshing to deal with a small business and get away from the monopoly of contractors and up-selling of the other places. Highly recommended...you will not be sorry.

A huge THANK YOU to Central Heating & AC Supply! I walked in with my heating coil and a probably comical tale of how I precariously removed it myself, thinking that it needed to be replaced...the person assisting me kindly checked it (free of charge) and informed me that the parts that I did bring were working properly. Without even one condescending remark or even a smirk, he went on to compliment me on my effort and gave me a few tips (free of charge) which jogged my memory about a collision I recently had with my thermostat (because my AC was still working, I would not have considered the thermostat). I made a crack about how I had the next few days off of work to focus on reinstalling my heating coil, to which he gave a courtesy chuckle, but then restated his previous compliment about my efforts. I then went home, was able to reinstall heat coil in record time! Then I got to work on my thermostat....purchased a new thermostat for about $35, successfully installed it myself, and BOOM heat!!
I have been facing extended financial hardship. I was beginning to worry about my electric bill from running space heaters, but I also did not have the funds to have a service call, which is what prompted my DIY investigation. The simple kindness and encouragement (free of charge) that I received saved me from another debt. I gained knowledge and pride that is invaluable.

The only place to go in Pinellas County for AC parts. Brought in a blower motor and the owner informed me my blower motor was good and what you needed was a capacitor. $14 dollars later I was up and running again. I'll be back again!!!

I purchased a 24 V transformer transformer I need to repair my air conditioner. The part was double the price for the same part on Amazon but I chose to buy it from them so I could repair my air conditioner immediately.
I installed the “new” part. It did not fix my air conditioner because the part was defective. When my Amazon part showed up later that day- my problems were fixed because Amazon sold me a working transformer. When I tried to return my defective part I was told all sales are final on electrical parts. I‘ve been a mechanic for 40 years - this part was defective. Perhaps they sell defective parts. Better to just order parts from Amazon where they will be happy to refund you and is half the price!

Needed some replacement part for a new system ordered elsewhere in a hurry to get out of a jam. Being a home owner other places refused to sale some simple parts.

I called and was able to schedule an appointment the same day. Spencer Schmukie from Smart Heating and Cooling came on time and did the diagnosis and was able to clean the buildup in the drain line from the A/C in the garage. it has a little sensor (float valve) that when water gets built up shuts off the unit. He cleaned it out (he also discovered the piping hadn't been cemented so fixed that too) and then he had an ability to pour distilled white vinegar in quarterly to remove junk.

John was extremely professional and honest. Highly recommended.

My 1st experience with Smart Heating & Cooling was at my residence in Seminole Florida. The other company I called gave me the run around and charged my unit. After they left it would not cool at all. I called Smart and they responded quickly. Apparently, I had a coil tube broken right where you charge it with freon. We arranged to have the unit replaced and then hurricane Milton arrived. They were very accommodating and re-scheduled. They had to move some water lines and run an electrical supply for my backup heater. All the work was completed in one day and the guys were thorough and respectful. Ani and Jerad are very knowledgeable and can help you pick the right unit for your application.
Because they did a great job, I had them come out to my business of employment and replace a unit in the plant. They were not the cheapest and were not the most expensive. Again, they did a great job.

I called at 4:30 I was able to have a tech out here at 8:00. The person on the phone was courteous and very helpful.
I received a call from Brennan Gibson to say he was on his way.
He was prompt ..professional ..and polite. He had my AC up and running within 20 minutes.
He gave me a few tips on how to keep the lines from plugging up. He offered a reasonable maintenance plan where they come out twice a year.
They have a five star rating and I see why. It was a wonderful experience. I will definitely use them again. Reasonable rates too!
