I have been having a horrible experience with this company. We've been charged regardless of our warranty. A manager was supposed to call us back and no one has. I would never suggest this company to them - the service is terrible.

Got charged $170 for an easy 10 minute job. Gerri was very rude on the phone talking over me, outright lying. I only recommend this business if you prefer terrible customer service, dishonesty and being ripped off.

HORRIBLE COMPANY STAY AWAY. I paid them over 100,000 dollars to do all brand new electric in a new building I built. Not only were they understaffed and added 2 months to normal construction time, rude, overcharged for any change order they could. They installed the electrical wiring in the office incorrectly. One of my office computers caught on fire. I called them and sent pictures of the problem and with no surprise they wanted to charge me a crazy price per hour to fix there faulty wiring. Luckily someone was there when computer caught fire or my office could have caught fire. Now I'm having fixed by a reputable company "Bellweather Electric". When they are finished then my attorney is bringing American electric to court so I can be reimbursed for the incorrect electrical work that was performed. Go with bellweather electric and RUN AWAY from american electric. Not to mention everyone you work with is rude, always shows up late, and instead of having a standard 6 man crew it was typically a 2 man crew and that's only on the days they decide to show up.

I just had both Ronny and Nick come to my home yesterday, and it turned out that it was my lucky day. Both knew their business, were professional, and cleaned up well after their work was complete. Ronny installed a chandelier onto a 12 foot ceiling and ensured that he got it at the right height. Nick installed a Nest thermostat for me, hooked it up to my cooling system and to my internet. Thank you to Ronny and Nick for jobs well done!

Excellent service!! My AC stop working and I gave them a call and they came out, gave me a great quote and had it up and running in no time! They're quick, efficient, and handled everything positively and professionally!! A friend referred them to us and we were thoroughly pleased!! Now we refer them to all of our friends!

I have been living in Saint Lucie county for the past several years. They were the first company I called when I did an addition to my home. They were prompt, efficient and fair. I have since moved from that property and have had them out for different projects around my new home. Again I have been very happy with their employees and service. I sell real estate in the area and I use them as one of my preferred vendors. I highly recommend All American Air and Electric!

One of their workers was honking his horn at me in traffic because I wasn't going fast enough. I was in a work truck as well. I am not going to speed because you want me to, through a school zone at that. On Cashmere just north of St. Lucie West. When I past him I was laughing at something on the radio completely unrelated. He yelled out of his vehicle at me and said I'm going to call ice on you. He had to say this because I am a person of color. This has got to be the definition of white privilege.

I'm renting a home in Fort Pierce, my landlord had this company come by to check the AC system. The return lines from the air handler to the condenser are dripping condensation and causing damage to an interior ceiling. I was at work when he showed up and he talked to my wife like a child. I was on the phone with her at the time and couldn’t believe how he was talking to her. Before ever accessing the problem he rudely said it wasn't an AC problem, raising his voice at my wife, with me on the phone. As a business owner you don't talk to people the way this man talked to my wife. He refused to speak to me on the phone and stormed away and left.I wouldn’t call this company for anything.

I cannot say enough good things about this company, locally owned and operated. Mark, the owner really knows his stuff and has been in the business for 30ish years. I was on the receiving end of a random act of kindness from Mark. He's a very kind hearted man. He replaced my ac unit 4 years ago and I use them for maintenance too. I highly recommend them!

I have been a customer of Florida Air Conditioning and Heat for about 8 years and have found them to be very knowledgeable, dependable and professional. They are not a high pressure service, and Mark gives you the information needed to make informed choices and decisions. As a single person, I have come to appreciate and feel very comfortable asking questions, and he always takes the time to explain in plain language. He never makes you feel like any question is a dumb question!

When he does the maintenance checks, he tells you his recommendations and lets you decide what to do and when, which is important if you are working within a budget. He is very good about keeping appointments and I have not had any issues with the work he has done. Keep up the good work!

This is for Larry W. I was pre-warned ahead of time about this call. Larry's wife must have been having a very bad day because upon answering the door she was in a tyrannical mood. She was rambling on about something that did not pertain to air conditioning. I tried to talk to her about what the problem was with her AC and she started yelling and screaming she was on the phone with her husband. I got out of there as fast as I could. Here is an update since then as of January 3rd 2026 the landlord has since then had me back to make the repairs. Landlord is very pleased with the repairs and will use us again.
