D&D was great today. Let me tell you about my last 2 repairs.

Today, I returned from New York after a 2 week absence and found my bedroom air conditioner not working. It was 91 degrees outside and 4:20 p.m. I called absolutely expecting a visit tomorrow and a miserable evening. Chris Hunt, who is an experienced technician, called me within 5 minutes and was at my home by 5 with the repairs completed by 5:45. He was a pleasure being both personable and professional. He provided detailed explanations, advice to avoid issues in the future, and gave a detailed explanation of the needed repairs and the charges both before and after performing the repairs. The stress we could have experienced from a failed valve was resolved at a fair price and as rapidly as I have ever experienced here in Florida.
About 6 months ago, Jose provided the same sort of immediate response with excellent and personable service.
We know how stressful these situations can be. Having people in our homes resolving issues about which we know little will always be stressful—especially air conditioning issues that occur in the summer in Florida. However, having honorable people with whom it is a pleasure to work and who always provide what is needed, when it is needed, is worth noting and supporting.

I couldn’t be happier. The technicians were great very professional and explained everything very well. Definitely a great company to have especially knowing that they’ve been serving this area for such a long time. Very impressive thank you so much D&D for the outstanding work you did on my new system, couldn’t be happier

Do not use this company, you will spend alot of your time following up on them to get your unit inspected. This results in an open permit that could cause you problems if you try to sell your house.

Jason the owner of this business is wonderful. He takes pride in his work and does a stellar job. I highly recommend using this company.

Do not use this company. Installed new AC unit about eight years ago only problems since it was installed spent almost $3000 on repairs even after warranties their excuse was you got a lemon. Yearly service contract is a scam, didn’t do their full jobs of cleaning the unit just looking for ways to make money

From the estimate to the install, everything went smoothly and as expected.
Chris went above and beyond explaining the new system and gave a quote with multiple options. At no point did we feel pressured in any way. And compared to other quotes, this one was much more reasonable and couldn’t be beat. The install team were courteous and respectful, and didn’t leave until the job was done, clean and they took the time to explain everything.

I gotta say, I do not usually write reviews of any kind, good or bad but I must write a review about out AC replacement.
D and D had a bunch of top notch guys that we dealt with, the repair guy, the sale guy, the two installers and the guy who came later to replace a breaker and check the new system. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and made the job look easy and they did a fantastic job all around. Our new AC system was installed in like 4 hours and we never missed a beat cooling our home on a hot June day, that was impressive

Another exceptional service by D&D Air Conditioning. Always complete with full understanding of what was performed and what to do to prolong the life of the unit.

D and D installed an AC in our home in 2023. It NEVER worked. Had a catastrophic leak that required taking down walls and remediating mold. ( took forever for them to address ) had multiple service calls for drain line that leaked. But worst was never cooling to set temps and high humidity that required running it 24 hours a day.had another company service and they fixed in a day. Sent a registered letter in September asking for reimbursement of all the charges we paid for crummy service and they didn’t have the courtesy to respond. Next step florid attorney general and possibly law suit. STAY AWAY.

Chris is great. He doesn't try to upsell you on things your system doesn't need like every other tech I have had in the past. Thx Chris!

D&D recently installed a new AC system at my home. Their installers did a great job !!!! There's very limited space in the Attic where the air handler was to be installed. They even had to get a different air handler and different unit. They didn't finish till after 9:00 p.m. but they made sure the job was done and we had AC before they left. Tyler did a great job of following up to make sure everything was satisfactory. Very happy with the outcome and would recommend D&D to anyone needing a new air conditioner.

I am so happy I chose D&D to replace my old A/C system! I purchased a Trane system and it is very quiet when it’s running. Cools the house very quickly. Also, one of the most important things is their superb installers.They were not only kind and helpful but highly qualified installers which is very important.

I was very satisfied with service.
Very thorough technician. I have AC unit for the whole house and two ductless systems in my garages. Technician checked everything, cleaned and sprayed antibacterial liquid to coil and blower area.
Recommend this company 100%.

Tyler was great with visiting and figuring out what we needed and get a proposal and us scheduled quickly. The technicians that came were on time, professional and thorough. Excellent. Very happy with our new Trane.

Technician, Victor, kept at it and would not quit
He tackled a huge recurring problem due to previously placed pipes by a previous company Victors dedication was apparent . He was experienced and do pleasant Kudos to D and D

D & D has performed routine maintenance on my unit for 2 years now, and I have no complaints, However my daughter had a new high-efficiency A/C installed around 18 months ago and is still having problems. The unit was not installed correctly initially, but it eventually was resolved. This summer the unit could not keep up with necessary cooling and after numerous service calls D&D said some parts had failed. They somehow neglected to order the parts for almost 2 months. In the meantime, water is leaking through the ceiling and mold is forming in the attic. It is not a simple fix like a drain line clog. D&D has not responded to numerous calls over the past few days. It looks like my son-in-law will need to get an attorney. They have a 10 yr warranty, but apparently that means nothing to D&D.
I would never let them install a unit at my home.
If D&D can provide a remedy, I will update this post.

So, months later, D&D has made repairs. They replaced the air handler and are still awaiting another part. The system seems to be working well. The last part of the mess will be having a third party come in and make drywall and ceiling repairs. Almost there, finally

D&D installed and currently maintains our HVAC systems. We have always found there teams to be respective, responsive and thorough in their work. I would recommend them.

Tech was friendly and professional. Unfortunately the issue was not under the warranty on the system so we had to shell out like $800 bucks. I don't know a thing about the pricing so can't say if that was reasonable or overpriced. Gotta love air conditioning in Florida!
