Charlie and I are customers of AC Today in Sarasota and we contracted with them to clean our unit ducts. Alex and his crew did an amazing job - very methodical, clean, diligent and customer-friendly. Very impressed with their professionalism. Now we can breathe easier knowing our home is well taken care of. Thank you so much!

I hate to pull stars away, but at this point I feel I have to. We got a new Mini Split system and I gave them the first crack at doing it, they declined, I understood that and didn't hold it against them. This is where the problems started and now I have blocked their number. Much like a scorned ex, I have gotten texts and just today a call from them (it was automated, it's been years since we used them, and it's super irritating that I got an automated call.) I have REPEATEDLY let them know we got a system they didn't want to put in, from somewhere else because that was the position we were in. They don't, or didn't work on mini splits before, now we use the company that is familiar with them. It's not that they ever provided bad service, if you use them they are fine, but if you have to leave they apparently never leave you alone again. So hopefully hitting the do not number in the automated system works THIS time, all other communications have had to be moved to the spam folder, so I don't have to see it, it's ridiculous. Even if we ever switch companies again, AC Today is well off the list by this point, just because of the spam contacts years after they denied us service

Quinton was as great as everyone else has been, the company has provided us amazing service every time we've needed it.

We've been fortunate enough to not need much help from them, but the experiences from here have been spectacular, Markus was no different. My phone conversations have been great too. My previous review is below.

It's been quite some time since we used their services. I wish I could give our tech a shout out but I unfortunately forget his name now. Last winter our heater stopped working and AC Today came out and fixed it very quickly. The tech gave us a price to fix it before doing the work and since we did not have much choice we went ahead with the repair. He had to leave to get the part but came back quickly and after the repair had been finished handed a bill for LESS than the quoted price. I was floored, to say the least. Well, that night it stopped working again and on a Sunday he came back out to look at the situation again, we discussed what else could be wrong and I was expecting to pay more on top of what I already paid. After a little bit he came down and admitted there was a mistake made. Mind you, he could have told me anything and charged me more but did not. Fixed the issue and we have had zero issue with it since. We will be using them in the future for sure.

Thank you AC today..Roy, We are very appreciative of your effort to get our air conditioning working. I highly recommend AC today. We have a business with 7 AC units and AC today is always available to come to our house or business when we need them. We have used other companies, but AC Today has been the best. I recently had the pleasure of working with AC Today to install a new HVAC system / Heat Pump. I was extremely impressed with their service from start to finish. Not only were their prices very competitive, but they were also incredibly flexible with scheduling to accommodate my needs with extremely fast turnaround. They also helped me find the most cost effective way to deal with a costly replacement. The team was always responsive to my calls and questions, and the work was completed efficiently and professionally. I highly recommend AC Today to anyone looking for reliable and affordable HVAC services in Manatee County!

My AC went out on Wednesday at 3:30 pm and I had a brand new system up and running by 12:30 pm Thursday. I talked to them around 4 pm Wednesday and the service tech Quinton was at my house by 6 pm. He was very polite and professional. My unit was 17 years old so I knew replacing it was overdue. Quinton did give me the cost to repair mine but also immediately contacted Brian the salesman, who was very nice and not pushy at all. He arrived 30 minutes later, gave me some good options with competitive pricing and told me we would have the new system installed tomorrow. The installer, Alex, showed up around 8:30 the next morning and did a great job removing the old system and installing the new one. The entire experience was great.

Our service tech Christian was very courteous and polite. He represented AC Today with integrity and concern for our issue. He was very thorough and helped us through the maintenance of our AC unit. We were happy with his work and would recommend AC Today as a reliable vendor.

Got the runaround for 3 days from another company. It’s been 145 minutes since I contacted AC Today for the first time, and they have already shown up and gotten me back up and running and are gone. Looking forward to continuing this business relationship via the maintenance plan since I saved enough on today’s service for the plan to pay for itself. Shout out to Vince who was great the whole time.

Absolutely amazing. JOE is so knowledgeable. No BS no upselling. Called at 12pm Joe was here at 2pm even on a Sunday and holiday. Service call is very reasonable. Got my unit up and running in no time. Identified that One Hour Air had miss wired the soft start and capacitor and they took each other out and failed. Can’t say enough good things about AC today and service man JOE. Bye bye one hour air.

The Tech that came out, Joe, was very nice and helpful . He did the normal maintenance and made suggestions for upgrades that made sense.

They were explained very well and in a way that upgrading would be a benefit to me not just an added expense.

We needed a new HVAC system for our rental property. Team came out promptly, were friendly and knowledgeable. Great service!

Neighbor recommended and we couldn’t have been more pleased! Of course was on a holiday weekend (Sunday). David showed up 1hr before the window which was appreciated with a dead AC. He not only was prompt, but knowledgeable and not pushy. Issue was resolved and we didn’t have to cancel our family Sunday lunch plans. Highly recommend this company!!

My AC broke we had a company come out and give us an estimate to replace that was super high. We called another company for a quote and they never sent it. We called AC today and they sent out Brian within a few hours. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. He had a new AC ordered and installed in 2 days. The install guys came out on time and had it done in a few hours. They were very professional and clean. Thank you AC Today team!!!

Vincent found the issue right away.. corrected it and system is now working fine! No cost as still under warranty!

This is a 1 star review based on the company’s inability to communicate. We are reviewing this company per their request. Previously the owners have said call us before you review us if there is a problem.
We called the office the next morning after a late evening non functioning ac to speak to the owner who was supposed to call us back. Five days on no call back.
Our 5 yo ac is now on its 3rd replacement air handler coil. After the 2nd replacement the office manager Melissa stated she was filing a catastrophic claim with York manufacturing due to multiple ongoing issues. She did say it’s going to take time-it’s been 14 months. She also stated that our latest replacement coil is an upgraded model. I took photos of the outgoing and inbound replacement. The tech agreed they both were exactly the same.
5 stars to the hard working service techs who tirelessly worked in a timely manner in extreme heat in the garage.
One star is for being lied to by the office and owners.
