Adrian and Alvaro, the "A+" team performed at a superior level in every aspect of the process, resulting in the installation and operation, by 6:00pm, of two full systems in one day. This in heat that peaked at 93 degrees. The two gentlemen were courteous and never disruptive. They communicated their intent to get both systems installed that day(a two day job), providing we were okay if they worked past 5:00pm. We were and they did.
This team, which came to D&D a year ago from a competitor, is a tremendous asset for this company. Thank you A & A for simply great work. Much appreciated.

Jose Cruz was a great technician. He was professional, thorough and had a very customer focused approach. We are very happy with our maintenance service.

Impressed with D & D, the president emailed me hours after a misunderstanding about a service charge and my maintenance contract at my rental property. Good service and follow up go a long way.

Great service. Arrived on time. Chris (the technician) was absolutely terrific. Will be asking for him for any needs they may pop up.

I unfortunately have to come on Google to write this review. We have been using D&D for the last year with no issues at all, even signed up for their annual service contract. After Hurricane Milton, our AC condenser was flooded and needed to be replaced. We had D&D come out to replace it. The installation of the AC went well but they pulled our closet door off and ripped open our wall/access panel to gain access to the attic/air handler location. They didn't bother to repair this and I have called in about 5 times now to have someone come to finish this repair/seal up the wall panel. Every time, someone says they will reach back out to me to confirm. I never hear anything back. It's been OVER a month since they installed the AC. It's ridiculous now. I don't think they're a terrible company, it is just really unreliable and bad customer service. They were quick to take my money and install the AC, it is now like pulling teeth to have them rectify their install. This seems to be a COMMON occurrence with them from other reviews.

D & D Air did outstanding work removing old units & installing new Daikin 5ton unit + new air handler. Initial glitch with air handler motherboard, but w/staff support entire system was quickly up & running. Noise level is nearly half of old unit (45 decibel), Old Trane unit was 80+ decibel. The neighbor liked the same system as well & also had D & D Air repeat the same at his place. Daikin system is running flawlessly. Thanks to excellent installation personnel and upfront support (Start to Finish) by D & D Air Conditioning. Thanks Chris, Francisco, Adrian, Alaro, RJ & D & D Air. Awesome work and support!

I called them on Thursday and left a message. The owner called me back the same day. In the meantime, I called the office and talked to a nice girl who scheduled a fella to come and talk to me that same day. He came and looked at what we had that was broken and suggested a replacement quoted me right there on the spot for a new split. I agreed and signed it and they came Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. and installed it. So by the time I got home from playing golf it was running. I then wrote a check and have been working in a nice, cool office since then. Couldn't be more pleased.

D&D Air came out the same day I had an issue to give us a diagnosis with pics. We needed a new unit and it was installed the next day. Polite, professional, fair and quick!

They always do a great job and cost far less than Cool Today. Chris came today and was knowledgeable and courteous. I will see him again in 6 months for maintenance. Thanks D & D.

STAY AWAY. Firsr, RJ is very knowledgeable and great guy. People have been polite mostly. HOWEVER, I have spent vacation days and various other time off dealing with the mess they left me with and continue to ignore. I have been extremely patient and never even thought of calling an attorney but now that is what I have been forced into. I know atleast some of my calls got through reception as the parts that were supposed to be ordered 2 weeks prior were ordered, but no one called. I found out after calling back 2 days later and asking the receptionist when the parts were ordered. Guess what; they were ordered the day of my last call. Now our problem has worsened to condensation dripping through my ceiling, into the insulation, walls and possibly else were. Did anyone call back or show up? Nope! Over 2 months of problems on a 1 year old unit purchased through them, I have had to call over and over and over countless times (see photos and notice the lack of incoming calls). Weeks went by before I could get ahold of anyone other than reception. The damage is getting worse and worse by the day and the air handler interior is coated in WATER - MOLD - BACTERIA with rust and corrosion forming . Thanks D & D! I guess the 10 year warranty I purchased isn't profitable enough for you or the $20,000 + dollars I have paid you over the past several years isn't as much as your big clients.

Great experience with D&D Air. Our system stopped working Sunday morning, I went onto D&D's website and used the service request form to set up an appointment for the following day, I received appointment confirmations by email & txt. Technician arrived on time and got our system working again. Technician was friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. This was my first experience with D&D Air, I contacted them because I was unhappy with our previous service company. I would definitely recommend them.

D&D performed a “maintenance” on our AC system. 30 days (!!!!!!!) later we had a huge flood in our house because the drain pipes were clogged and the drain pan flooded. The water ran across our 2nd floor down to the 1st and caused severe damage. We called another AC company out who came within 1 hour and fixed the issue. This company found built up from months (!!!!!!) and said it was impossible this much built up in 1 month. We contacted D&D who blamed the masses of built up on our weak UV lights. The service D&D performed was clearly insufficient and unprofessional. Do not recommend at all!!! See pictures for built up!

Sooooo, back in July of 2016, when D&D AC were still listed as a highly preferred vendor list for The Ritz Carlton Beach Residences, I had them install a new high end Trane unit WITH a 10 YEAR PARTS & LABOR warranty. Over the years, their service has significantly decreased and at times they try to charge me for warranty work. Which brings us to the most recent event, my assistant called in a repair order while noting to the office that THERE IS STILL A WARRANTY on the unit.

My assistant called in on 9/26/25 for a service request (stating still under warranty). The technician was dispatched on 10/6/25. The technician found a coil leak & proceeded to stress that I needed to buy a new unit “since my warranty expired as of last May”, of course he never checked or confirmed with his office. I personally advised him I have a 10yr parts & labor warranty, not 9. Further, my unit was installed in July of 2016, NOT May. Now the fun really begins, He stated he needed to order a new coil & filter dryer. We were advised it would take at least a week to receive parts (in Florida, not acceptable), so after approximately a week & half my assistant had to again follow up as D&D no longer does.

The “fun” continues, they schedule an appointment to install the parts on 10/24/25. D&D called back to cancel the appointment they just set because it requires 2 people (why didn’t professionals know that after the first eval?). So now 2 technicians show up on 10/27/25 to finally do the install 3 weeks after the first SERVICE call & a month after the original call for service!!!!

For you playing along at home, the new coil had a defect, which that could happen to anyone. But we’re still 3 weeks later.

So my assistant expressed my significant displeasure with D&D and advised them they need to get the part even if they had to drive the manufacturer to get it.

They returned on10/29/25 to finalize the job. When I spoke with the representatives at The Ritz Beach Residences they advised me this is why D&D has been deleted from preferred vendors.

If I ran any of my businesses this way, I would be out of business. Not quite sure what’s going on, but this entire process was a giant cluster F!

My unit WILL be under FULL warranty until 7/20/26!!!!

As a former local business owner for 20 plus years, this pains me to write a negative review, however D&D went out of their way to earn this.

I sure hope someone addresses these concerns asap, AC business is extremely competitive in Florida.

Terrible customer service! Voicemail, they use AI to answer their calls. When you call in to confirm or change a visit, you do not get a real person in the office, and it’s very frustrating not to know if my message was received or acknowledged…..the kind of dumb stuff that will run me away to another contractor. But I did very much like Bob Fisher and his work. They need to fix this, or I am done.

We searched the internet for a very good, reliable air conditioning company who offered seriously competitive prices on A/C units and excellent service after the sale. Our search ended with D & D Air Conditioning, Inc. This company was highly recommended and has been providing their services to the West Coast of Florida since 1986. Their ownership and their people stay consistently far above normal industry expectations. We look forward to a continued working relationship with D & D Air and will highly recommend this fine company at every opportunity.

This is an extremely long post, but if you’re considering using DND Air Conditioner company, you really need to read this. D&D has been a complete nightmare!!! they took two weeks to install the new AC unit and constantly had new people fixing what other clowns are working for them. I paid for an UV light eight years ago and they never installed it. When they finally did it burnt out within a week. I kept feeling cold air coming out of the shroud from the unit to the house and finally opened it.D&D cut holes in both sides of the insulation and agreed that they screwed up eight years ago. Patched it Great Stuff on sand with cold leaking out!!!! and they keep sending me a bill for what they did wrong in the first place and still left a mess!
D&D responded to my post and canceled repair bill for coming out and repairing something they did wrong six years . WOW thanks ! I called.D&D air again after my post about finally getting everything done correctly. And surprise surprised after they say “ of course we’ll get right back to you tomorrow or later today “ they have never returned my calls!!!! is there any advice for how to finally get my AC installed and working properly!!!!! this is making me completely sick.

D&D’s response to this post was utterly ridiculous.1st they did not respond to any of the problems that I wrote in my first post.2nd the only apology was too say that I didn’t have to pay the bill that they sent me to come and repair their own terrible workmanship.. OMG! They saw the mess that they made and despite the many calls that I’ve made they still have not come out and repaired the unprofessional & terrible workmanship they did.Has anyone that works there actually been schooled or has a HVAC certification. I have continued to call over and over and was told that they would get back to me and.NEVER have 🤯😤

I call and call and call, and I’m told BRIAN will call me back. Ha! Never never never got a call back.🤬
I’VE STARTED WITH A NEW COMPANY THAT CONSTANTLY SAYS MY AIR CONDITIONING UNIT IS 1/2 TON WAYTOO SMALL FOR MY HOUSE! They never asked me how many square feet the house is. I asked how they measured the size of my house and how many square feet actually is air-conditioned and I couldn’t believe it when they said “ we measured it from satellite picture “ what the heck! The Input airflow back to the AC unit is almost half of what it should be and that is why I have been complaining about the indoor temperature being 7° -8° warmer than what the thermostat is set at !!since my second grade new, air conditioner was installed, no matter what they tried to do didn’t work.
Also found out that the ductwork from the AC unit to the house is plastic with the wire coil instead of metal which is not insulated and keeps getting holes in it! ONCE AGAIN WHEN I CALL NO CALL BACK EVEN WHEN I AM POLITE AND NOT RAISING MY VOICE. I think I mentioned it before too, but they finally installed my UV light after I paid for six years earlier. It is not only 24v but it should be 240v and they installed it where I can’t do a damn thing. The UV light keeps mold and mildew from growing in your ductwork and which can make you very sick! I TRULY WISH THERE WAS A LICENSING BOARD OR SOME WAY OF Letting them know the way D&D Air install my unit and never return phone calls! I actually have 32 photos of the mess that they made cheating me out of the wrong size, the installation and never returning my calls because they don’t want to admit that they really screwed up!!!!!

Had a great experience with D&D Air. My AC stopped working—it was running but not actually cooling—during that crazy hot week of record-setting heat. I contacted 3 companies for quotes. D&D Air was the second company I met with, Chris Whitney was the rep who came to my house. He explained the different options, systems, and warranties—in a way I (someone who doesn’t know much about HVAC systems/tech) actually understood—and answered my questions.
D&D’s quotes were significantly better than the first company’s. (I’d gotten a mailer from D&D about a $2500 credit on a new HVAC, which is why I called them.)
I liked what D&D offered and appreciated Chris’s non-pushy and informative sales presentation that I ended up going with D&D that day before waiting for the third quote.
I went with a Daikin system, which was a bit more expensive, but includes superior warranties (for 12 years on service, parts, and condenser). I love how the condenser unit outside is so much less bulky than my old one!

We were able to schedule installation for the next day at 8:30am. The install team—Carlos and 2 other guys—showed up a few minutes early, and worked all day to get my old unit removed and the new one installed and running. They were polite and respectful of my house, and they actually fully cleaned up behind themselves (which unfortunately is not the typical experience I’ve had with contractors/projects here in FL)!

If you have HVAC troubles, I’d definitely recommend contacting D&D Air.

D & D sent a tech to our home to repair a fairly new trans air conditioner. Nathan Hill was extremely knowledgeable and professional and explained every step as he repaired, tested and replaced components that were also going to fail soon. Nathan cleaned everything in the ac unit and surrounding area when job was complete. Hopefully every tech they have has the same “ do the job right the first time” mentality as Nathan. He got our ac up and running like new the same day. Thank you
