I hired Ultracool to install a new A/C system in my condo. They were fast, professional and took care of every detail from start to finish. The price was more than fair and I’m very happy with the end result. The unit works great. I highly recommend them and will continue to use their services in the future. Thank you Lori, Neil and the installation team for providing such a great service.

So, this is a weird one. I am actually *not* a customer, but I very well could be in the future based on this interaction.

My 1-year old Trane variable speed central a/c stopped cooling. I called the original vendor (from whom I also purchased an extended labor warranty). They sent a tech out the next day (emergency isn't included in the warranty 🙄). *After* he was done, he told me he did an electronic leak test and that costs $100+ and it's not covered under the extended warranty 🙄. Even so, he wasn't able to actually find the leak (🙄), so the next step would be $700+ for a nitrogen pressure test.

I paid for the electronic test and basically planned to never spend another cent with the vendor. This felt like nickel-and-diming...but my house had no a/c and I didn't have cycles to chase this.

In calling around to get quotes for the nitrogen test, I spoke with Lori from Ultra Cool. She listened to what I had to say then she said..."Wait a minute. I worked for that company 25 years ago. They're good people...I still know them. Let me call them."

Sure enough, I received a call from my vendor who said I shouldn't have been charged the test fee and the tech they sent in the morning was new. They sent a senior tech, who didn't rely on the electronic test...he found the leak using old-school soapy water. I then got the entire a/c coil replaced under warranty (as I would have expected...though not so soon).

So I ended up not doing business with Ultra Cool, but Lori's honesty, integrity and her willingness to go the extra mile for even a competitor's customer is remarkable and certainly stands out in today's dog-eat-dog world.

This company is the most UNPROFESSIONAL company I’ve ever had to deal with.
1-they called me FOUR times in 1 hour. Just to schedule an appointment
2-they refuse to leave voicemails, so it’s just a random number calling you constantly.
3-they made an appointment for a selected day from 12-4 pm, and they canceled at 11:45 am because they were “too busy and just couldn’t make it that day”.
4-rescheduled for a other day, a day they chose, and a time frame that they selected (12-4 pm again). They then called me the day of at 2 pm. TWO hours after the time window, and said “they were so busy and slammed they couldn’t make it today. And they were just so busy they didn’t know when they could possibly make another appointment. And would call me in a few weeks”.
5- after this my landlord called them, and they contacted me again to reschedule. They told me, verbatim, “we don’t promise to keep any appointments that we make. Unless you book our first appointment at 8 am, we are just too busy and do not promise to show up. And usually end up canceling appointments.”
6-I’m not sure how this horrible , unprofessional, rude company is still in business. I took 2 days off work and lost money, and they literally do not care.

I hate that my landlord is forcing me to use this terrible company

Another outstanding job! They service 2 properties for me. Their entire staff is very knowledgeable, thorough and honest. It’s like dealing with family. Several years of good experience with this company.

Not only did they come out on a Sunday within 2 hours of our call, Efrain was fast and fixed the A/C very quickly! Will definitely use again when my air conditioning breaks.

Excellent customer service. Second time using Ultracool for my AC issues, and just like the first time Ultracool receives 5 stars for the service provided. The technician was prompt, professional and considerate of the customers needs. I highly recommend this company for anyone in need of AC and heating services.

This company installed an AC unit and absolutely hit it out of the park. They were professional and you hardly knew they were there. The staff triple-checked everything and it was top notch. From their reception/appointment booking to the completion it was a very positive experience.

Owner Neal, along with Lori & Stephanie all came together to get us a brand new RUUD Air Conditioner Today. Our Davie home is 88 degrees right now and unbearable. They ran around all day getting all the equipment needed to pull this huge installation together. Next the team of 3 highly qualified technicians arrived here at 4:00 to begin this huge undertaking. It’s now 6:30 pm and they are still working their hardest to get us Air Conditioning TONIGHT - even through this huge storm that just came through!!
We never expected them to be able to pull it all together so quickly. Call them when you need any AC Service / you won’t be disappointed 👍

Awesome and amazing! UltraCool came out within hours of my first call! My system was over 20 years old and LONG-overdue for replacement. I’d been straggling it along with repairs every few months, but I knew replacement was needed, and it was finally unfixable. I also knew my ductwork was a hot mess as well (over 40 years old, leaking from condensation, unbalanced, and in need of replacement)..They were able to get me a complete new A/C system installed IMMEDIATELY with the existing ductwork (to keep us cool for now in August). And knowing it’ll take a bit of time for me to save some money for the ductwork replacement, they’ve laid out a plan for a few months from now to replace the ductwork that we really need replaced as well. Neil, Ronald, Lori, Iker, and Iker’s brother (sorry, forgot his name) were all amazing! Thank you from my family!!! As we sit in our nice, cool house!

As always, Ultracool is awesome. They are very prompt, concerned about the issue and they make sure they have completely fixed the problem. Will always go back to them for any A/C work.

I'm very happy with the installation of the new air conditioner. They were on time, professional, answered all our stupid questions, minimized getting the house dirty, and cleaned up after themselves.

This is the second time using Ultracool. Without saying anything else, that should speak loudly! The first unit lasted 14 years, and when it was time to replace it, I had no hesitation. I gave Neil a call, and he responded quickly. A very professional outfit and very fair pricing. I would highly recommend them!

Our 11yr old A/C finally gave up the ghost yesterday. It started with a call to Ultracool, because we were not getting cool air. Not only were we able to get a technician right away, but Neil, the owner, himself showed up. Amazing! After checking out our A/C unit, Neil spent time with us, explaining in great detail, why our A/C wasn’t working properly and presented options. Rather than replacing the coil in an 11yr old unit, we opted for a new unit. We were very concerned that we’d be without air conditioning for a week or two. Neil went above and beyond, worked his magic, and had the new unit delivered today, the very next day. Iker and his partner were at our house this morning at 9am to install the new unit. They did an amazing job installing, making sure everything worked correctly, and left our house cleaner and in better shape than when they arrived this morning. By 3pm today, we were back in business and ultra cool, no pun intended. Everyone at Ultracool, from Lori, Neil, and the installation crew were as professional and helpful as they could be. My wife, Patricia and I are very happy Ultracool clients for life. Excellent service, honest, and dependable. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for our A/C needs !

When our AC unit started to have issues, we called Ultracool and they first tried helping us run diagnostics over the phone before scheduling a service call. When that didn't fix the cooling issue, we scheduled an appointment and they were on time and extremely professional. They were able to get us a new AC unit much faster than we anticipated and their team came to install it right away. They were extremely professional, prompt and efficient.
