Service from Mathers Electric has always been great and my most recent experience is beyond excellent.
The Terrible Thursday storm on 4/27 resulted in a pine limb begin flung down onto my elevated power line that runs from the house to the meter pole. Both ends were ripped completely out and the wire was lying on the ground. I decided to call Mathers before 6am 4/28 hoping to leave a voice mail to get on the repair list.
Ken answered!!! I explained my situation to him and he said he would send someone to check it out. By 7am, John Paul was on the property assessing the damage. He said he would have a crew here shortly.
By 8am, Whit and Morgan were setting up for the repair. By noon my home was back online. In true Mathers fashion, all traces of work debris, etc. were gone. They made certain that my fabulous Generac was working with the restored service line and were on their way.
As always, the crew was respectful of my property asking permission to drive on the grass and being very careful of the septic tank/drain field.
Logan and Renee were also very helpful throughout this repair. Thank goodness for Mathers!

I selected Mathers Electric as the best out of three bids for a whole house generator. After signing the contract for a 20kw Generac I spoke directly with the owner, Mike Mathers. I have a respiratory issue that requires an uninterrupted electrical supply. Mike helped fast track the installation with the oversight of his super team leader, Rena. Everyone I interacted with at Mathers was professional, knowledgeable and patient. All in all I was glad I chose Mathers. I highly recommend this company.

We chose Mather's as the seller and installer of our Generac full-house generator. They were excellent. The installation went as predicted. I had Mathers Electric install a Generac generator for my home. I was very pleased with all of their employees from the office staff to the installers. They kept me updated through the whole process. Once installed they went over everything very thoroughly and showed me how to use it properly. I felt very confident with this company knowing it was done correctly and safely. I will recommend them to my friends and co-workers.

I had Cameron and Logan come to my house to quote and then complete a job to add some outlets to my bathrooms. They were both punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and professional for both visits. The work was completed quickly and cleanly, and they were even nice to my dogs. Additionally, I had a bare GFI outlet (no cover) in one of my bathrooms and they covered it. They did not charge me, or even inform me that they did it. They saw it needed doing and did it. That’s something I don’t often see from professionals these days. I highly recommend using Mathers for your electrical stuffs. I’m having them install a generac whole home generator as well and so far they have been fantastic. If that changes I will update.

They installed a Generac 22KW whole home generator to my home. Very pleasant and professional from the owner, sales rep, techs/service crew, to office staff. They were very communitive from the start to finish, It took 3 days in stall and a 4th day for start up and instructions. I highly recommend Mathers electric for a Generac or any electric service needs. Thanks Mathers.

This is a great business with great workers who show up and do their jobs with experience and dedication. You can tell that they are probably paid well and like their job and their place of work. I have used this business many times and they have earned my review The last 3 electricians to come to my property are John Paul, Zach & Terry all 3 great at what they do. Also Logan and Rena are very professional and you can count on what they tell you will happen and the price they quote is going to be on point. I did get 3 quotes on the work I had performed and they were the fastest to respond and surprisingly the best price and warranty.

I hired Mathers for small simple bathroom project. I expected the work to take about 4 hours which it did. They did a nice job with the work. What sets them above however is the fact that they cleaned up everything after they were done and protected the bathroom drain to keep materials from falling down it. I appreciate the care and respect they showed my home. Will definitely hire in the future.

I just want to do a quick update on this review. I had Mathers come out to do my kitchen. I had zero idea I still had cloth wire in the kitchen but they made it their mission to get it all out. The electricians that came out are incredibly nice and I appreciate their attention to detail. I know my home is safe when they come out. I can’t recommend enough.

Mathers Electric is an awesome and wonderful company. I got my generac generator from them 2019 (it powers the whole house) and have been very happy their service and courtesy! With the recent bad weather that went through Tallahassee, my generator began to run a little “rough” with a faint gas smell. Mathers send someone out in the middle of the storm to fix the problem! I believe the tech name was Rob but he was so awesome! He was in and out, problem solved! Also, thank you Nick and Peter who answered the phone with professionalism and courtesy! Mathers Electric for life!!!!!

This company and it's employees are amazing. Had a Generac installed this week and everything is running smoothly and in a timely manner. The office staff was always keeping us informed of what the next step was going to be, scheduling was easy with them, too. This company is very reliable, with attention to detail, friendly and professional all wrapped into one. You don't find this very often, these days. It is a pleasure to work with them and will continue to use them for other electrical issues, in the future.

I used Mathers for the first time today and was blown away by how kind and professional Kyle and Anthony were. They really took their time to explore all potential reasons for my issue and were able to get the issue solved to my satisfaction. I will definitely plan to use Mathers again the next time I need an electrician, and I can’t recommend Kyle and Anthony enough!

Mathers is the best electrical company I have dealt with, ever (Montana & Florida). We ordered a large Generac Generator from them last year, they kept us informed every step of the way, right up through delivery, setup, and warranties. And that thing runs like a top! Mathers personnel are extremely professional, friendly, and quick to respond. They are also very good at house wiring, etc. In my opinion, Mathers is the best!

I got estimates from several companies to install a Generac home standby generator at my home in Monticello and all were similar in price including Mathers; however, all offered a 5 year warranty but Mathers gave a 10 year warranty an also included a surge protector. The other companies charged nearly $800 more to extend the warranty to 10 years. The main reason I went with Mathers was because the owner of the company took the time to explain everything to me an gave me referrals an suggestions to install a propane tank. He never tried to up sell me on anything. No matter how many times I called or texted him he would speak with me-super nice man. He told me my installation would be a month out an that's exactly what happened. Everyone I dealt with at Mathers were super nice an professional, I believe her name is Renee, she helped scheduling etc. she was great. My installer was George Keller, he was just one of the nicest and professional persons I have ever had do work at my house. He asked what I wanted, said I had choices, gave me options an was very patient with me. You could tell he took pride in the work he was doing, very meticulous in every detail of the job. Every time he came to my house he made sure everything was clean before he left too. I am very happy not only with my generator but happy I had Mathers electric do the job-I highly recommend them.

Had a relatively new installation of a generator by Mathers Electric. The install was great, and the work and workers were all super and professional. The generator developed a very small gas leak. I called and they came out immediately. It was very hard to detect, but the tech, Brandon, persisted, came back out, and found the leak. He repaired it and all is good. It is this type of service that one rarely gets and should be recognized for the quality and follow up.

Joe and Eathan did an excellent job fixing the issues in my electrical panel. They corrected double taps and addressed improper breaker sizes quickly and efficiently. They were very friendly and professional. I also want to mention Rachel in the front office-she was friendly and had a great sense of humor which made the whole experience even better! I would highly recommend Meeks Electrical Services to anyone needing electrical work done.
