I had a fantastic experience with Mather's Electric from Jaybe Bowers first providing the quote to the quality of all their employees executing the work and finally, proving the system worked in a blackout when Tiger was making his final push on the final 9 holes on his way to winning the 2019 Masters. We switched to the Generac backup power within seconds! I can't say enough about Mike's employees friendly, efficient and professional attitudes in what turned out to be a pretty difficult installation. I had Chad and Anthony installing the Generac for nigh on three days, then Casey, Clyde and Adrian doing the wiring and installing the transfer switch from my well some 70 yards from the house. Andy and Brandon worked hard to complete the electrical installation of our new Rinnai tankless water heater. Jeff Harris did a stirling job on setup, testing and registration while Rena Combs coordinated the whole job from the main office and kept me informed of any issues. Everyone's combined efforts resulted in two highly satisfied customers and installing a system that works. I have no hesitation about recommending them to install either a Generac and/or tankless water heaters. They're the best and I sincerely thank everyone involved.

We had a 22kw Generac Guardian generator installed by Mathers Electric back in July, 2014. It runs off our 250 gal. LP tank. Just last month Jeffrey of Mathers did a check up on it, and we had new plugs, oil and battery and system tests and checks.
THEN Aug. 31st, and Hurricane Hermine came into our area. Without a pause, when the power went out that Wednesday night, the Generac came on & we had all our power again.
For 3 1/2 days, the Generac ran without stop, without a stutter, with absolutely no problem whatsoever. We had a/c; had hot water & ran our well pump; we cooked, watched tv, got online; we were able to help our neighbors with storing food in the fridge & freezers, getting water, having hot coffee, cooling off, and more.
Mathers Electric did an amazing installation job; extremely professional. The annual checkup is a real ease-of-mind saving. Jeffrey, the service tech, is very professional and knowledgeable. We are so glad we chose Mathers Electric, and chose the Generac. That generator is amazing: we lose power a lot out here in rural Gadsden County but the Generac has never let us be without power for more than 30 seconds.

Very professional service. Arrived 30 minutes earlier than expected. Quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired it. Even asked if there were any other issues to inspect. When we got the bill, it was almost half of what I expected it to be. I had asked a friend for a recommendation and he quickly suggested Mathers Electric. When I got to work the next day, another friend recommended the same company! I highly recommend Mathers Electric for all of your electrical needs.

Electricians George and Morgan came out today. They did great work. They were kind and efficient and explained everything I asked about. I was so impressed and will call them again if I need an electrician in the future.

They covered the warranty quickly with no issues, after the hurricane last year. They are noligiable and quickly identified the problem and ordered the right part the first time, we had no problems with the system since- when other generac company's were clueless and didn't know how to fix it.

My father was an electrician who enjoyed every moment working in this very skilled trade. For two years, I was an apprentice under his guidance and instruction. Although he once told me that there was never a day in his life that he did not look forward to his job, I selected another road and became a counselor helping handicapped people return to work. Still, I often longed for the days as an apprentice electrician and seeing my work in very rewarding ways. Dad worked in West Palm Beach for a contractor, but at times wired projects that stand to this day, including the famed “Vehicle Assembly Building” that housed the rockets that were assembled to take Americans to the moon! Recently, on a trip to Orlando, I viewed that same building, very evident on the horizon, 37 miles away. “Dad helped build that!”

I lead this review with that brief introduction. I do know what electricians do and respect their art, that is so critical to civilization. I also know of the very real dangers that accompany this knowledge, and how very unforgiving a mistake can become. When Mather’s Electric installed a generator at our home that not only involved the gift of electricity, but also that of natural gas, I marveled at the skill the electricians displayed. The care, attention to detail, and responsiveness to my questions exceeded all expectation!

Recently, a hurricane passed through Tallahassee and we were without power, for all of ten seconds. The generator that Mather’s Electric installed a year ago came alive. Sixty-seven hours later, the city power came back on and our generator turned off, just as promised. I would not have expected anything different, given the care evident by the outstanding electricians that installed and maintained it.

The first job the did for me was the installation of my Generac. They did such a fantastic job and I use them for everything. Great work and great customer service.

they came and made repairs to my home so the power could be restored.
They charged a very fair price and did an excellent job.
It was the down to earth friendly customer service which really made my day. I felt like I was among friends. I was treated with the utmost respect even though I looked like a mug shot and smelled badly. LOL
Another company was due to come and do the job,-they never showed and quoted me an outlandish price .over the phone.

I have received outstanding service and follow-up on purchases and warranties from Mathers. They address any issues immediately with expert service and answer questions knowledgeably. They come when they say they are going to and try to accommodate any requests that are made to make service more convenient and effective. The technicians that are sent to do maintenance are very thorough and the office staff is outstanding.

Mara and Whit did a great job on their second time out finding the cause of a breaker that kept tripping related to my outdoor kitchen outlets - Rene (office staff) was very helpfull dealing with the issue - i would strongly recommend using their services.

When I was in the process of purchasing a generator, the manufacturing company attempted to change an extended warranty promise that had been made. Mike Mathers spent a long time "going to bat" for his eligible customers and convinced the company to make good on their word! One cannot ask for better customer service than that!

We ordered our generator from Mathers Electric and they installed it as well. I was originally very nervous about the purchase. It was a big one and a critical one at that. Well, I need not have worried. My technicians were superb. Jeff is the smartest and sharpest electrical person I have ever met and went out of his way to be sure I was totally comfortable with our purchase. His assistant, Jamel, was equally courteous, warm and a remarkable protege. As a matter of fact, the entire office from the billing department to the scheduling department was on the ball and informative. You cannot go wrong with this company.

These guys are good at their job. Had an experienced tech with someone who he was training which I think is the best way to learn. Both of them worked well together, were polite as could be with me and professional. My generac worked perfectly and they did not leave anything undone. Mr. Mathers is the type of owner that has filled in for his people when he is short staffed. He won't have them do anything that he isn't willing to do. I would follow that type of leader anywhere. He and his people are professional, they do quality work, and complete jobs in a timely manner. They have completed multiple jobs at our home and we have always been thoroughly satisfied.

I built my home and had a 22kw Generac whole home generator installed. Every two years I have the generator serviced by Mathers Electric. In August of 2019 they serviced the unit at the two year mark. Today they serviced the unit at the four year mark. We have had absolutely no problems whatsoever out of the generator since install in the summer of 2017. Today the service was performed within 24 hours of my initial call to Mathers. The technician sent, Logan, was quite possibly the most polite and respectful individual I have ever dealt with, as well as competent. I would recommend Mathers Electric to family and friends.

They were highly skilled and very effective communicators. The folks in the office at Mathers Electric are very efficient, responsive, and organized. The whole process was smooth and timely.
