Update to previous post: the Point of Disconnect for my hot tub was mounted 26.5" from the tub. I called them and they told me I was wrong. Twice. End of story. I had to go pull a permit (which the gentleman at the permit office said they SHOULD have gotten) and have Leon County come out and inspect it. Long story short, the inspector agreed that the panel did NOT meet NEC 680.12 (nor were the outlets they installed working). The NEC is there for a reason - because you shouldn't be able to touch the disconnect while in the water. Because it could kill you! And the fact that I, as a layperson, was dismissed by them time after time - even tho the code is VERY clear is mind-blowing. They are supposed to be the professionals. Now they get to pay to have my deck fixed. Use Meeks at your own peril.

They were very helpful in getting a resolution to my problem, professional, cleaned up after himself, and Rachel gave me a great referral to a local inspector. Highly recommend.
