We picked this company based on the reviews. None of the bad ones showed up until recently. This is a few months back now, so I will not be as firey with the details as I would have been when this just had happened. Basically I tried for over a week to schedule an appointment with Helen, the receptionist. She kept telling me she would have to call me back and couldn't commit to any appointment. So, when she finally did call back ( after me calling 3-4 times), it was Monday morning and I was on my way out of town for a work trip. I couldn't answer to speak with her and by this point I had decided to hire another plumber anyway. My husband was home sick and since I hadn't scheduled anyone to come we didn't discuss plumbers before I left. Well at 3pm I get a call from my husband that the plumber was there fixing the toilet and he gouged our hardwood floor with one of his tools. I was beside myself. Why was there a plumber in my house when I didn't even have an appointment? It was just a fluke that my husband was even home (throwing up) with our (throwing up) toddler. We ended up arguing with the company over this, and the price they claim we were quoted, when we were not. (They could not provide proof of that.) We were quoted hourly, and our toilet is jammed up against the wall to boot.

Long story short, find another plumber.

I can't speak for their gas work. But we did meet with the owner about this. He seemed competent, but since their prices were so much higher than other companies we did not go with them.

Just dealt with them for the first time thru our property manager. Live in 2nd floor apartment and found out our hot water heater was leaking into our downstairs neighbor's place. Rodney was amazing. Service was fast, proficient, and professional. I wish I could work with people like him at my day job. Seriously, his work ethic and customer service skills are top notch. Don't know how the rest of the company is, but they are lucky to have someone like that working for them. If the others working for them are half as good, then they're a phenomenal company. Highly recommended

My water heater decided to spring a gushing leak in the wee hours of the morning. I called Cureton Plumbing, as I had used them in the past. I was promptly called back when the office opened as I expected (I didn't call their emergency number). They worked me into their schedule which I was so happy for this! Brett and Blake came and replaced my natural gas water heater. Both Brett and Blake were professional, courteous, polite, and knowledgeable. They took their time to explain what maintenance needs should be performed on my water heater in the future and also warned me to check the water prior to getting into the shower for the first time even though it was set for 120 degrees as before. I am so glad they did because when the shower was set to normal usage setting the water was scalding hot. I highly recommend Cureton Plumbing and their services for all of your plumbing needs. Once again they saved the day for me!

My husband had used Cureton Plumbing for work at his rental properties and recommended them to me. I am so disappointed. They did an expensive amount of work for me but did not complete the installation of supply pipes for the tub as needed and requested. When I called to ask for a return visit to remedy the problem, the receptionist was short-tempered with me, repeatedly explaining why it was my fault. I left a message for Mike and it was not satisfactory. He also explained how their failure to install a threaded pipe for the tub spout was common procedure and I would not have had a problem if I had bought the fixtures from them. (Note the fixture were present on the job site and they used some of the components so they knew the spout was threaded). As a result, I would have to pay for a return visit, plus a trip visit because my property is outside Leon County - by five miles). It wasn't just the tub spout, it was the why the situation was handled. I will not use the again.

I needed a replacement part to stop shower faucet from leaking. They got there fast. Work done I won't use another plumber.

Brett and Xander were so thorough and extremely professional. They took the time ( which no one really bothers to do anymore) to explain what the issues were and how they were going to fix them. No more leaky faucets, thanks to Brett, Xander, and Cureton Plumbing! I will definitely be a returning customer!

Could not be happier with the service we received from Cureton. I was anxious about selecting a plumber as one always worries about being taken advantage of. However, Cureton was great. The phone receptionist was very pleasant and knowledgable. She even diagnosed over the phone what she thought the problem was (and it was). Our plumber, Rodney, was very professional and polite. He worked hard and despite the mud from digging in the yard he remained super-polite and focused on getting the job done for us. He finished the job in under 3 hours. I will recommend Cureton to all my friends and colleagues.

Had a drainage issue, not urgent. First time calling Cureton. The team that came by was on time, friendly, patient, and answered all my questions. I especially appreciate they didn’t charge for anything that didn’t need done. I will not hesitate to call next time I need a plumber.

We couldn't have had a better qualified, professional team than Cureton. A very friendly receptionist actually answered the phone! Help was on the way the next a.m. We had a problem with our hot water heater...the two very kind workers said it was old, 17 yrs old! but they could replace a few parts that would work for awhile. We chose to have them replace it. They were finished in no time and then when we asked about a problem we were having with plumbing in our 2 bathrooms , they spent several hours after discovering and fixing a problem with sewer lines leading from street. They really were professional, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. We would highly recommend them.

We use Cureton for all our personal and rental plumbing needs. They are dependable, on time, reasonable and honest. The office staff is excellent at communicating and when the service person arrives, he shows up, works with focus, and then departs. All done!
