They didn't have what I needed (I was looking for a very obscure older panel cover) but they told me exactly who else carried it and where to find them. Top notch service, more companies should be like them.

So I went into electric supply in drew park trying to get some needed parts, and they basically blew me off, and wouldn't so much as even give me the time of day. It was quite evident immediately that they were only concerned about serving the bigger corporate entities. That's when I discovered City electric supply. What can I say, five stars are not enough. Taron and company were very helpful and knowledgeable. This company cares about their customers, no matter the size of their operation and it shows. They were well stocked, and took good care of my needs quickly and efficiently, and I was in and out, and back to work in no time at all. In addition, their prices are quite reasonable compared to other supply companies I had visited. Keep up the good work guys. Truly it is refreshing to know that there are still decent folks out there who operate with honesty and integrity, and are willing to help even the little guys with a smaller purchase. If you need electrical supplies, look no further than City electric supply on North Florida avenue in Tampa Florida. Ask for Taron, these guys will treat you right 👍

Terrible attitude from staff
I had to briefly pull over in front of City Electric Supply to close my car hood — I wasn’t parking or blocking anything, just fixing a quick issue. A guy came out with a very rude attitude, immediately telling me I can’t park there without even letting me explain. There’s a big empty parking lot, and I was only there for a minute. No reason to treat people like that. Very unprofessional.

Tim is consistently responsive, efficient, and always on top of things.
Turnaround times are fast, communication is clear, and it’s obvious that attention to detail is a top priority here. Every order is complete no missing parts, no excuses.
It’s refreshing to work with a supply house that genuinely cares about getting it right the first time.

The atmosphere here was great, everybody was very friendly, I came in here for a simple breaker switch for my HVAC system which I couldn't find anywhere including Lowe's home Depot or any of those places, Jeremiah came out and said if we don't have it I'll make him one and I'll be damned if he didn't he made me one and it worked perfect I brought it back home hooked it up onto my HVAC and now my HVAC is running great and I saved hundreds of dollars by not getting a technician out here, I would definitely recommend this place and specially Jeremiah so helpful and friendly

Jay & Steven were fantastic. They answered any question I had whether it was related to the job or something I was curious about. They were on time, thorough, and friendly. If I were to call Acme again I hope they will send either guy or both.
