I have been dealing with home maintenance and service people for 67 years and I gotta tell you that I have NEVER had such a great experience as I have with Bart De Pury Air Conditioning. You talk about making a promise and taking the extra mile from the office staff to the technicians to fullfill that promise, WOW. Service technician Jim is tops in his field. Price is as good as it gets. I give a five star rating to this company because they deserve it. Heating and A/C problems are a messing business and the last thing you want is for someone to mess around with you. Call Bart De Pury Air Conditioning next time you have a problem and experience what I have with 5-Star customer service and technicians.

I appreciate the company coming out quickly to fix a problem at my rental property. However, I had a few issues others should know about.

1) I was not contacted with a diagnoses of the problem at my rental property before a fix was made.
2) I have fixed this issue myself before and it is a very easy fix.
3) This very easy fix which I could have done in 30 minutes has been broke down into 4 different services, all of which total up to over $300.

Even the diagnostic fee of $100 is outrageous but I would rather have paid it and done this simple fix myself.

Zero communication and over charging. I would advise landlords to be cautious when using them.

I am giving the company one star (updated to two stars because they refunded $100 after complaining about the high cost) because they fixed the problem with my air conditioner in a timely manner. However, to charge $480 for about one hour of labor - no parts included because it was under warranty - is highway robbery. They charged $100 just to show up and identify problem (this took 10 minutes and was not told up front about this fee), plus another $380 to fix the problem which took 30 minutes of labor. I will not recommend or contact again. I work hard for my money and to see it disappear so fast is not right.

Bart and his team were great! They quickly installed a new unit and ductwork, helping to better distribute air throughout the house. After receiving my first electric bill since the install, I am excited to say it was more than 50% lower than the previous month - and during one of the hottest months we've had! I could not be happier and would definitely recommend Bart DePury if you are looking for any HVAC services!

Yes, they came out quickly but the problem was complicated (kinda). But Not giving all details the end was, we got our thermostat rewired(that was the assumption of the problem). Heat worked we were happy. $200+ but.. so be it.
Then a few days later, it’s getting warm. We turn on cool for evening and it goes up to 84! (Aux heat was blowing for a while) we called back and they basically said “you could pay us to come out again. But it’s not their thermostat so no guarantee. Then the next day the lady in the phone was extremely rude to my wife saying that I was the problem (because I mentioned her tech must not have known that hat he was doing. She said she didn’t have time to argue with my wife about them fixing the issue we paid for them to fix. After getting nasty to my wife she hung up on her.
Will NEVER USE again!!!!

They have been my AC company since I moved to Florida 13 years ago. They always send very nice and smart servicemen, and the price is always fair. They offer a maintenance contract which is very helpfulul to me. I recommend them!

It started well... They came out promptly and fixed part of the problem. When we followed up and explained the AC still wasn't functioning properly, we had a very negative experience with Ann on the phone. It was not only unprofessional, but also rude, contentious, and spiteful- in response to my questions and explanations. We were recommended this company by a friend, and perhaps this employee Ann is a terrible representation of the company, but she has certainly tarnished its reputation! She hung up on me (intentionally!) twice!! She called back 30 min later and I hoped she was going to start on a better foot, but she did not. It was like speaking with an angry toddler. who was unwilling to listen or understand, only blaming us that we are the cause for the problems, and telling me stories of other houses they've serviced. It was a truly shocking experience. So in conclusion: we paid $214 to not have our whole problem fixed and just be yelled at instead- what a horrible experience!

Depury AC was very responsive to my call for service. They determined the problem, ordered the parts and Tony was on site with the fix in less than 24 hours. I am very pleased with the service and highly recommend them for your a/c issues. Been with them for many years and always satisfied .
