HVAC reviews in Tampa, Florida

My parents live in Palm Harbor and have been without heat for three weeks waiting for a replacement part for their Rheem heat pump. 24/7 keeps telling them they are waiting for the replacement part. In the meantime my parents are without heat during a cold January for Florida.

This is an update to my original review. After speaking with Sara of 24/7 She has assured us that the part should arrive soon and she will keep us updated on when they will be able to perform this repair.

Final update!!
24/7 received the replacement part and they have replaced the defective TXN valve. Thank you 24/7 for getting the heat working at my parents house once again.

Jorge and Miguel did a complete install of HVAC including ducts and insulation. They did a very thorough job. They were very attentive to any questions or concerns I had. I am very satisfied with the service they provided. They are truly an asset to the company.

The process with Air 24/7 was painless. Prompt scheduling with Hunter was amazing. Understanding my needs on a new HVAC system narrowed the choices. Had my annual HVAC maintenance completed today. CJ was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions in a way that was easy to understand. He was very thorough and detailed with his work. Very satisfied with the visit.

Fair up front pricing. First class service. Miguel and Jorge did an install for me during which the system from the factory was found to have a problem They never flinched, got a same day replacement and finished the job in good order and on time. A job well done. Thanks.

I wish more companies did business like Air 24/7! My husband and I were very impressed and pleased. Derrick, our salesman was very knowledgeable and patient, explaining each of the products we were interested in. On install day, I like to refer to these guys as The "A- Team" they came and during the hottest days in August, gutted the entire mold ridden system including the duct work and installed our new system. It took several days due to the size of the job, but London, Jorge, Tyler and Miguel never wavered. We very very impressed with these guys!.
We met several other members of the team throughout our experience and everyone was top notch!
Sara and Nikki are the best in office personnel! I really appreciate calling a business and not having to deal with prompts, you call, they answer!

I am so happy I called Air 24/7 to come out and find out why my Air Handler wouldn't kick on because Hunter called me back right away and came out within the hour to take a look at our system. Hunter advised me that we needed a new fan blower motor and was given a really great price for a new one! Hunter was very nice and professional and you could tell that he really cared about our situation. So we ordered the fan motor from them and it came pretty quick. We had Dan come out to install the new fan motor and he did an Excellent job and professional and explained to me everything he was doing and made sure I didn't have any questions. Hunter gave me a great no pressure estimate of the cost to replace my system. Price for the replacement was significantly lower than other quotes. London and Tyler did a great job with installation. Later had Aires do final inspection and also made some system level conform adjustments. I can't say enough positive about the experience and the team!

I appreciate Jorge & Miguel who came out to replace our AC: Very professional and kind, adaptable, no fluff and they know what they're doing. We previously had a really bad HVAC that we didn't know how bad it was, and Dearick was great with explaining how the process would go, and we were able to do a finance option with ease. The price was reasonable and honestly better than 2 other competetors we considered. Jorge & Miguel were able to add in the additional return vent, and extra shout out to them for cleaning up after themselves better than I usually see for services/renovations with their own broom and all. It's the small considerations that make the difference.

I have used this company twice now and have loved them both times. This time, my AC unit was turning on but not blowing out air and I was able to get someone to come out next day. CJ was a great help and explained what was wrong, how to fix it, and even how to prevent it from happening again in the future. He was also very kind about my dog barking at him which I appreciated. I highly recommend them for any repairs

In 2020, Air 24/7 was paid in full to install a brand-new premium HVAC system in a 10-year-old home. The replacement of the existing HVAC unit was elective and preventative only, not the result of a system failure or other issue. I selected this company after seeing their advertising in a home magazine and reviewing their BBB and Google ratings. Seemed reputable…

Within seven days of installation, my home began experiencing humidity control issues. Shortly thereafter, the attic drip pan overflowed, resulting in extensive damage to the home.

The company returned to the home multiple times (more than 10) and ultimately replaced all the ductwork in an attempt to correct the problem. They did pay to cover some of the direct home damages related to the drip pan overflow; however, the compensation was insufficient to fully remediate.

Despite these interventions, problems have continued to this day. After putting up the last piece of trim this week from the remodel. I decided to leave this review.

While the initial incidents were disruptive, the more troubling issue has been the company’s complete withdrawal of support immediately after the one-year labor warranty expired—despite the fact that the issues originated directly from the installation itself.

Based on my experience, I do not recommend this company. The installation was poorly executed, the system has never performed as promised, and post-installation accountability was lacking. This was not a “top-tier” service experience, and I would strongly advise homeowners to exercise caution and obtain multiple expert opinions before choosing this contractor.

As of 10 January, 2026, the day after leaving this review — which was fair and metered in relation to the devastating total life impact of Air 24/7, an Upper Managment member contacted me and began to threaten me. They demanded I remove my review or else they would sue me. I suspect that is why they have no negative reviews a little suspicious.

Air 24/7 claimed they paid or overpaid me for damages done by their installers which impacted multiple rooms in my home (requiring a remodel of almost the entire upstairs).

My family was displaced from our home for months. The public deserves to know the nightmare Air 24/7 caused us, their conduct is irresponsible and may indicative of how they operate. But then again, perhaps it was a one off…

Since they reverted to attempted coercion - “the act of forcing, pressuring, or intimidating someone into doing something against their will, often through threats, manipulation, or abuse of power…” to try to get me to remove this fair and accurate review, I intend to refer the matter to the Florida Attorney General’s (FL AG) Office.

I want a full apology for ruining my home and for the attempted coercion; and at that time, I will consider the matter resolved in the interest of the Tampa community which deserves fairness and good service from providers And will make appropriate notes for public review.

In the meantime, I’ll continue posting updates:
Including responses from the FL AG’s Office. No one should face intimidation for posting a fair and actuate google review. It is against the law!

Federal law (Consumer Review Fairness Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 45b–45c) protects consumers’ right to post honest reviews and prohibits businesses from threatening or penalizing customers for truthful feedback.

I will leave it to competent government authorities to determine what laws, statutes, and regulations were violated today. But it seems a full attack on a single feedback post was an overreaction to say the least:

My new Air 24/7 system has caused mold and mildew issues that were never present when I moved into the home just months prior to the install. Not in the inspector’s report... So now we have persistent issues which Air 24/7 fails to care to address, we are very disappointed.

This Company is Amazing. Called about getting maintenance done on my Split AC.
Showed up fast for a estimate and they were working on my unit the next day. Installed UV lights in my AC so now it’s a air purifier as well as a AC. Everyone I spoke with at this company were very professional and nice they don’t try to pressure you into anything you don’t want. Alex did a amazing job. I couldn’t believe how much mold that was in my AC unit. No wonder my allergies have been awful this year. Well no more. It’s back to where it was when I first unboxed the unit.

Update: it not only cut my allergies back it’s back to freezing. I hadn’t noticed how much coolness my split unit lost over time. Now it’s back too freezing. 🥶🥶❤️

We initially contacted them a few months back after 2 companies came out and gave us a price of almost $3000.00. The air conditioner system was new so that didn’t make a lot of sense to me. Eskimo Brothers was my third call and he came out and had it fixed in 15 minutes and only charged a couple hundred dollars. we signed up for the maintenance plan and since then have called them twice for some Fluke problem. They came out for no fee and had it fixed in 10 or 15 minutes both times. I would highly recommend using this company.

Mike & Mike did a fantastic job installing my condenser & air handler! Great attitudes and persevered through many challenges with electrical hookup! Highly recommend them?

Robert Verville provided an immediate response to diagnose and repair an HVAC system that was not cooling. He is highly experienced and always professional and courteous in the services he provides.

Josh and his team honored an expired quote, scheduled the work within a week, and installed two units in one day. I received updates and follow-up communications throughout the process. I definitely recommend Eskimo Bros!

This company is awesome! The technician, Anthony, was very knowledgeable and responded quickly—right in the middle of summer. Our AC had broken down, and he had it fixed by the next day. Anthony is fantastic—10 out of 10!

Fighting the Florida heat…..call Eskimo! Cody came out to check on why the fan won’t turn off. He is very professional and customer service oriented. He explained in details of the diagnostic and showed me the bad part that was replaced. He also came out for a courtesy check when I had more questions on the unit. I would definitely call them again for future issues.

I appreciate the quick response time to determine my AC problem. I'm waiting for the final estimate but I'm sure this company will be as fair with me as they can. My repairs needed to be upgraded and Dave, Melanie and Anthony the technician have all been extremely considerate in dealing with my situation. Thank all of you so very much!
