CASS Plumbing sent Brian to our home to do a job which they had quoted on. Due to part problems from Grohe, Brian could not solve the problem, although he tried for at least 90min.
Cass offered to give me a total refund of what I had paid, which is a wondeful gesture!

Here is my experience with Cass Plumbing.

I am a contractor that got overwhelmed with work after the floods. I needed more subs. So I called Cass plumbing.

The owner Dave came to the job and quoted the work. Their fee was much more than my regular plumbers Dolphin or Macintyre, but they had 3 flood houses each, I needed help, so I elected to use them after the clients approved the cost.

We reviewed their contract and asked them to change their terms to our terms. 30% down, up to 70% upon rough-in inspection passed and in full when the job was complete. Very standard payment terms. Their contract has other wording about timed progress payments that we would never agree to, nor should you, because the job may take longer than their progress time allots, which they have. To get the job they agreed to "our" terms.

So, they did a fast and furious job on both. They cut big holes, left lose pips in the wall, water heater leaked and damaged tile. I said no problem; we can fix it up upon completion. I can work with you. So I paid them to 70% of the original contracts. I held back the 30% until finish. Give or take 3% for CO's or whatever they are claiming was extra... but, they have loose ends on my projects themselves.

But, Cass couldn't work with our schedule. All our other trades, which are multiple, along with structural rework took months longer to complete, no issues with anyone. Also, both jobs have out of town owners or it's a 2nd home., so design and meetings have been a struggle, plus summer vacation for everyone's kids.... and life., one clinet is putting their mother into assisted living and selling an home.

Cass called and asked for payment in full. Regardless of being done, or a final inspection, or answers to damages left behind. She wanted paid in full now. Regardless of being done or not.

I declined payment and explained the contract terms we asked for that they agreed to. We didn't agree to their standard contract of timed payments.

They then called the homeowners and tried to get paid. The homeowners called me, and I advised them that we were under contract with them and they were not entitled to the money yet.

Cass then called the homeowners and threatened to lien the properties all by phone calls and text message which turned to harassment and strongarm tactics. It was going to get ugly if they didn't pay kind of approach.

Now, its only been about 3-4 months that we are trying to work on these houses with out-of-town clients and summer schedules for clients vacations.

Meanwhile, forgetting or not taking into consideration the people's homes were devastated from the floods and the task it is to put a home back together properly after that much damage, with all the changes and decisions they never had the opportunity to make until your house is flooded and you get to start over.

So we are working through all of that when Cass Plumbing started their collection attempts.

Now, last week, we are ready for the plumbing trim/finish portion of the job. We are at the point we would need them to come back out and complete the work to get paid in full. So I do the right thing and call the owner directly to see if they want to work it out, no answer, left VMail days ago. I called the office which I was hung up on.

But they can't come and do the work now because of the way they handled the situation with threats, forceful strongarm, harassment and slander tactics.

The owner acts bewildered that I didn't pay them in full before the job was complete. I am bewildered that she would try to strongarm myself and clients, "Storm Victims), before finishing the job.

Just like Cass will never recommend me because of how long I take on a project, I cannot recommend them to you.

So, thank you for the review on FBook Cass plumbing. You and the electrician we fired for non-performance should team up.

Brian was so great! He was very professional and timely after hours on a Friday evening! We’ve been happy with all the services we’ve received from Cass!

I had them re-pipe our house about a year ago and the team did an awesome job. Finished it one day to get our water restored. A year later thought something might be wrong with the city side with low water pressure. City said everything was good on their end. I called Cass and explained that I was sure it was a city problem. They sent someone out at no charge and found it to debris in the lines probably from the work being done in the area. Turns out it was a simple fix and they are great and trusted.

I’ve worked with Cass Plumbing twice now. They’ve been amazing everytime. Plumber Steve came out to give a quote on what I thought was a slab leak. He went above and beyond the other companies I had come out and it turned out to be a simple fix that could be accessed through the wall. Saved me a ton of money and stress!

Their team is prompt with scheduling, extremely knowledgeable, very thorough and fair with pricing. Strongly recommend using them for any and all plumbing needs. They even took the time to explain the plumbing issue to me. I wish I could add more stars to their rating. They even put everything back AND cleaned up when the job was done. Top notch Company and team members!

Panicking and standing in an inch of water in my kitchen due to a pipe break behind my refrigerator I reached out to Cass plumbing. From the initial phone call Brian was personable and very reassuring, he quickly arranged a service call. The technician showed up less than 2 hours later. Victor was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The repair was made quickly and priced reasonably. I will recommend Cass to anyone in need of an excellent plumbing company. We will also use them for our water softener purchase very soon.

Whatever you do don't say it's urgent. They responded fast on Angi and came between the hour, then tried to charge me $850 just to glue a PVC that broke in my outside wall. I was able to get the price down to $800 which is still insane and they should be ashamed of themselves for charging people those numbers. The work itself took less than 1 hour and they don't even patch the hole in the wall.

They got $800 today from me but lost a customer for ever, good business Cass Plumbing!

Called on a Saturday and had someone here in 1 hour. Curtis was the tech and was great at what he does. Needed whole new kitchen faucet assembly which I ran out to get while he took the old one out. Very happy with the whole experience.

Louis came over late on Saturday night, did a wonderful job unclogging our drains that were backing up. He saved the day!

I decided to wait to address the problem, but I would like to thank Donovan for taking the time to explain the situation and being very professional and courteous.

I will definitely use his plumbing services as soon as possible. I am also considering adding a water softener.

Curtis came to view the job of replacing my bathroom vanity. Gave me a price and said he could do it right away. We agreed on the price and he removed the old vanity and installed the new one and did an awesome job. He was very knowledgeable and cleaned up the area as well as carting away the old one we definitely recommend Curtis and Cass plumbing.

Donovan was amazing! He identified our issue quickly, his work is professional, and he completed the job ahead of schedule. We highly recommend Donovan and Cass Plumbing.

I found a leak coming from the base of my toilet. Cass Plumbing has been sending me monthly emails with their specials. Since they had free estimates and 20% off service, I called them for an appointment. Steve F. called me on the day he was scheduled to come over and told me when to expect him. He was on time and looked professional. Since I had a plumber in the house, I also had him install a shower head and shower faucet.

Steve F. was fast, organized and knowledgeable! He is really a nice guy and I felt comfortable having him in my home. Next plumbing issue, I will call Cass Plumbing and request Steve F.

Donovan took great care in replacing 2 toilets in our home. He worked Very hard to do a timely and accurate replacement. We recommend him highly.

Cass has been awesome during a resent remodel of an old 1925 for me. They replace the sewer piping and water piping all through the house. Good pricing and on time service. Nice to be able to rely on a good partner.
