Kaleb did absolutely outstanding. He came on a Saturday and worked all day with an awesome attitude. Alex was also stellar, and he brought a ton of expertise and experience. I can’t say enough about how well these two did. I will absolutely be a return customer.

Alvarez Plumbing was recommended to us by a health care provider. He stated that Alvarez Plumbing was the only honest one he had dealt with over the years. Joe Velez, our technician, was wonderful! He came to replace our toilet’s wax ring, and in the process found that our flange was broken . He replaced both. He was very careful and neat. He cleaned up the mess. We would definitely recommend Alvarez Plumbing!

Alvarez A/C and technician Ramiro are awesome. I highly recommend them. I was a field engineer for 20 years and not easily impressed, they exceeded my expectations.
I had no heat and had another company come out, found 3 issues and wanted $3100 to repair, said it would take weeks to get the parts. Since my system is 14 years old he pushed me hard to replace the system at $15,000. I called Alvarez for a second opinion and Ramiro resolved the problem, a bad sensor, and throughly checked both systems in 2 hours and cost me $380.

Kyle and Ryan were awesome from the time they got home until the time they left. Made sure everything work completely before leaving. Really enjoyed having these guys replace my whole AC unit. Thanks to Tony for the great info and options given. Thank you guys

Victor was awesome! Courteous, honest and repaired our shower leak within 30 minutes. Luckily, I had already bought correct valve cartridge to replace so made the repair immediately. Very happy with the results. Thx Victor!!!

I had a great experience using Alvarez Plumbing & AC . The two technicians (James W & Jake W) arrived on time and were extremely knowledgeable and had our ac repaired quick . They went over every detail with me and I can now rest assured that my unit is in top shape . I would highly recommend this company !

Alvarez plumbing and A/C did a wonderful job. I am a general contractor and had concerns about the sizing of the original system that Del-Air Heating and cooling originally installed. Please send a technician out to properly assess the situation and recommend the right equipment. I’m sorry I forgot his name but he was very knowledgeable.James and Jake worked from morning till night to make sure my new system was running properly. We had heat running in the evening, just in time for a freeze warning in Tampa. I would recommend Alvarez from any of your heating and plumbing needs.

Jacob Fox was an amazing technician professional and nice guy! He was very informative, explained how he found the issue. This office has a mini split was not cooling and showing error codes he responded and resolved the issue fast quickly.

I’m very pleased to say Alverez called me this morning and explained the misunderstanding and removed the extra charges. Because of that I’m adjusting to a 5 star. Today it’s so rare for a company to actually care enough about the customer that they take time to call to help make things right. That’s impressive!
They explained they had an unusually busy day, and the plumber didn’t think he had time because he needed to get to another call. They explained this isn’t their typical approach and said it was a miscommunication from dispatch to the plumber. All of that seems reasonable and I appreciate the personal call and the refund! This seems like a company that really wants to do what is right. That’s so rare and refreshing and because of this I will definitely do business with them in the future.

Original post for context.
I called Alvarez for a leaking shower valve. I had already taken off the shower nozzle plate and found the leak myself and needed someone to fix it. It was the weekend and an emergency, ugh, so I called Alvarez and agreed to pay the weekend charge…I just needed it to be fixed. When the plumber arrived he told me about the charge, which I agreed to because I told him i just needed it to be fixed. So go ahead!!

Well, he went to the bathroom, and within five minutes he confirmed the leak in the shower valve. Great! But then he said he wasn’t able to do the work today because he didn’t have time. The kicker is, he then said… and the charge for him to come and just walk in the door and confirm the leak, which I already knew was there, was $269. Plus he could give me an estimate for how much the actual work would cost.
So today I still have a leaking shower valve. I’m out almost $300.

I have found Alvarez Plumbing & Air Conditioning to be prompt, reliable and affordable in the past and this time was no exception. We were in need of new ductwork and HVAC system.
Brian Montgomery was polite, knowledgeable and thorough in explaining the process and scheduling the service.
James W., Axiel C., Sandor and K.D. arrived promptly on the morning of the scheduled service. They too were knowledgeable and worked at a fast and efficient pace. Our new system is a breath of fresh air.

Tony from Alvarez was great! He is very knowledgeable in this field. He was training Victor and making sure Victor understood the tasks at hand. Tony also explained things to me to make sure that I understood. There was an issue with the price and he called the front office to get it fixed right away. I really appreciated him going over and beyond to resolve the issue.

Called for leak under kitchen sink which we thought was disposal. Ended up to be kitchen faucet and had to replace. While we were replacing faucet we thought we would replace sink also. Had to wait for install due to weekend, and came out Tuesday to complete which we had no problem with. Price was higher than originally quoted, which I thought was high to begin with, but they charged us for “accessiblity” to get to the under side of old sink. The technician Sillc Smith was awesome and did a great job. He kept me informed every step of the way, I just wasn’t expecting to pay just short of $2000 for this.

I called Alvarez Tuesday 2/10 to schedule an estimate to replace our old AC unit. Brian came out on Wednesday 2/11, and got us a great deal not only on an AC unit but also a great deal on replacing our old duct work. They have extremely fast service. They came out on Thursday to start the install. We had 4 technicians working, James W. , Jake W., Osmel and Stavon. They were absolutely incredible. They took pride in their work! They kept our home clean as they did all the duct work. They hooked up portable AC units to ensure we were comfortable as this was a 2 day job. I cannot say enough good things about Alvarez. Those 5 are truly an asset to your team, and I cannot thank them enough for all the work they did.

Just want to share a professional comfortable experience. Evis responded the same day to quote and then install a new hot water heater. He took the time to understand that cost and quality were important. After getting the equipment delivered the installation was completed very neatly even though it was in the garage.

I can’t say enough good things about Alvarez plumbing company! The Technician, Kaleb, came out on extremely short notice when I had an unexpected issue, and his response time was impressive. Kaleb arrived promptly, was professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly before starting the work. He fixed the problem quickly and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving.

It’s hard to find reliable service these days, but this company truly delivered — fast, friendly, and dependable. I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future plumbing needs beyond my capabilities and recommending them to friends and family!

Service was great and affordable. Replaced the kitchen sink which required cutting the granite countertop in place. Turned out amazing! Also replaced the shutoffs for the washer. Would definitely recommend them.

Update: Just used HVAC service and the service was again top notch. Brian the HVAC tech got the problem fixed in no time and was able to discuss various options for replacing the system, which definitely needs to be done. As I wrote before definitely recommend this company.

Update 3: Wound up replacing the HVAC system. The job had some bumps, took a few tries to past inspection and it turned out the system was misconfigured during the install, heat wouldn't come on but Alvarez made good on all the issues and the system finally seems to be working properly.

Still a satisfied customer and would recommend.

We continue to be very satisfied with the promptness, professionalism and courtesy provided by Alvarez Plumbing staff. All our projects have been completed correctly and on time. Recently, we required the replacement of our hot water tank. Joe (Field Supervisor/Estimator) was very knowledgeable and helpful in the choosing of our tankless hot water system. We are very glad we followed his recommendation for the Navien system, properly sized for our household demands. Corey (installer) was meticulous with the installation and extremely neat and courteous. Most recently, we had to unexpectedly have a leaking toilet repaired. Alvarez was responsive and scheduled a service call quickly to resolve the issue. Perry (plumber) was also extremely knowledgeable about the hydrolics, valves, water pressure and overall Plumbing of the project. He was neat, courteous and respectful of our home and time. We are confident that Alvarez will be available for routine and emergency situations in the future. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Ramiro made me feel very comfortable during our meeting! He was exceptionally professional and a 10 in knowledge of finding the my issue! He is a Credit to your company by far! Next time I need a A/C or plumber I want him to come by, if he isn't available I'm willing to wait for fis schedule is open.
