My first interaction with Overhead Door Company of Charlotte was pretty bad where the dispatcher decided to cancel my appointment an hour before they were due to arrive. After a bunch of calls and escalating to the General Mgr, Brandon, the company recovered from their lapse in judgement and sent Jason, an awesome technician, to take care of the service. Jason did a fantastic job, very detail oriented, explained the issue and approach in detail/simple manner, and most importantly kept me in the loop on his arrival time. I give Jason 5/5 stars for his performance and the outcome of the service - he knows what he is doing.

I also would like to give a much appreciated shoutout to Brandon on his customer service. Being the head honcho of the area, he took the time to make calls and ensure that the Overhead Door Company of Charlotte recovered beautifully from their error and got me back on track with my garage door. It is not often that the leader of the area would spend time to correct an issue and directly deal with the customer. I give Brandon a 10 stars on a 5 star rating scale on the way he handled the matter with empathy, patience, and direct action to rectify the issue created by a an over zealous dispatcher on the field service team.

Well done Brandon and Jason. I will continue to be a loyal customer of this company and recommend them to others in the Charlotte area.

Awesome service! My friend backup with trunk open in his SUV, and damaged my overhead door and spring. It costs $202.00 to repair and the repairman is very nice and pretty quick to fix everything in 40 - 45 mins. I am so happy that he can be able to save my 50 years old garage overhead door. Amazing job!!! Thank you!

Our experience with Overhead Door Company of Charlotte was excellent from start to finish. The scheduler was helpful and courteous, and Robb, our technician, was outstanding. He provided the information we needed to choose the best option for our garage door opener. Installation date was immediate, and the installing didn't take long at all. Robb was professional, and communicated well with us on installation day. We highly recommend Overhead Door, and will not hesitate to use them again.

Before sending a tech out you need to communicate "clearly" that you charge for estimates ($68.64). How pathetic. We went with another company for our install.

I thank God for wonderful and reasonable businesses like Overhead. Unfortunately for me, my spring broke a few days before closing. I went into panic mode. Called a company to get an estimate for repair and they were over 50% higher!!! Even though I was in a bind, I told them I would not move forward with the repair. From my point of view, I felt they were taking advantage of my situation with closing only days away.
Called Overhead and asked for a quote for repair. At first, I thought maybe they didn’t hear me correctly but they did. I couldn’t believe they were that much lower. The only drawback was availability but I saved hundreds waiting for them. Plus, they gave me a veteran discount!!!

Overhead door was a great company to deal with. I was able to book them online for the Tuesday after Labor Day, during the weekend! They were on time and took care of our problem!

Tyrell came to our home and did an amazing job. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and the new door installation worked beautifully. They should count themselves fortunate to have this guy working for them. Great job and highly recommend

Robb is the best. We had the same issues about a year ago. He came in and sorted out issues out as a professional. We could t be happier than we are! Would recommend!

Luke came to fix my door that wouldn’t shut. He fixed it in a timely manner then proceeded to adjust hinges tighten chain and lubricate door. It’s so much quieter now.

I called about a part for an older door. Taylor Frye helped me over the phone and reviewed pictures . Unfortunately the parts aren’t available anymore as door was discontinued but Taylor made helpful suggestions for a simple short term fix. I will definitely call if /when I need a service. That’s customer service!

The experience didn’t start out well because of issues with scheduling but Chad, the garage technician, was great!! He was helpful, polite and the only reason I’m taking time to leave a review. He’s the perfect example of customer service and I hope they appreciate who he is for their company. My five stars are for Chad!!!

Luis did an exceptional job making sure my door was working properly. I had a previous company do some work less than a month before calling OHD but they couldn’t figure out the issue. Will definitely be using them from now on!

We discovered a problem with our garage door installation from a few years ago. The new company agreed to fix the problem at no cost to me that was the old company’s mistake. I am very happy and highly recommend them for your garage door needs!

The young man Owen was extremely polite, patient, and kind as I talked his head off while installing my door. Their need to be more people like him when it comes to working with the public and seniors like myself. Job well done youngman and my door is magnificent.

Overhead Door, Mr Romero came to service our single and double garage doors.
Discovered the double door needed cables and springs replaced. Mr. Romero was very efficient, knowledgeable and was quick with the replacement.

I was given an estimate of between 10-2 for the technician and he showed up right at 10am, that is amazing because no one wants to wait around all day. Chad did a great job, repaired the electrical wiring and the chain while ensuring the same issue would not happen again. Chad communicated with me why the garage wasn’t working and told me exactly what he was going to do to repair it. He was done in under an hour! Chad also went over and beyond and helped with oiling up the hinges to make the garage door a lot less noisy. Definite would recommend these guys. Thank you again Chad!

Excellent service. My garage door cable snapped and they came out and had it fixed in an hour for a reasonable price. I recommend Overhead Door based on this experience.
