Always a pleasure working with Southern Chimneys. Easy to schedule and I had an excellent customer experience. They're always very friendly and professional.
On one interaction, I was struggling to close the flue and they walked me through how to do it. Also, one corner of the curtain in front of the fireplace was starting to come off and I asked if they replace those. He was kind enough to help us secure it in place while he was on site inspecting and cleaning the chimney. No pressure or sales tactics, just incredible customer service and they seem to really care about positive customer experience. I wish more companies had this level of service.

After a bad experience with a different chimney company I called Southern Chimneys for a second opinion. Ashley took my phone call and was extremely helpful, nice, and patient. After an initial inspection it was determined that our chimney needed to be taken down completely. Mitchell and Justin did the work and they had their roofer Joel over the same day. I’m extremely pleased with the work they did and would definitely recommend them! Chimney removal is not an easy job but I felt that they were careful and thorough. Having the roofer out the same day was also huge, so we weren’t living with a tarp over a hole for an extended period of time. Overall very happy with our chimney-less fireplace!

After a house fire in my neighborhood it was a reminder for me to have my fireplace and chimney inspected. Southern Chimneys did a fantastic job. They were very professional and on time. I was very impressed with their knowledge and explained everything in detail. Turned out my fireplace was safe and after they left it was spotless. I passed their number along to my neighbor and they did a great job replacing the cap for him. Very reasonable and highly recommended

I highly recommend Southern Chimneys and specifically our sweep, Ty. He was friendly, efficient, and very professional. He did a great job explaining exactly what he did, thorough with the pictures he took and information he provided. We will definitely use them again & request him.

Southern Chimneys was fantastic to work with. As new homeowners, we had them handle our chimney sweep and inspection, install a new chimney cap, and bring everything up to code. When we used the fireplace for the first time and had some questions, they came back out right away to take another look. It turned out to be an education piece for us, and they walked us through everything with patience and professionalism. Overall, they were kind, responsive, and great to work with. Highly recommend.

Great experience with Southern Chimney. Mitchell communicated well about his arrival time and worked with me since I couldn’t meet him right away. He was very polite and friendly and knowledgable. He answered all my questions, cleaned and inspected the chimney and gas logs and discussed all the options for switching to vented logs. Thanks to Mitchell for great service! He left my den spotless and my old ventless gas logs working better than ever. I highly recommend Southern Chimney.

Fantastic company to work with they made everything simple and easy! Showed up on time documented and shared what they found during the inspection process, and installed and tested the gas logs to make sure everything worked perfectly before they left. In and out in a timely manner and left the area cleaner than when they found it. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

Southern chimneys did a fantastic job of assisting us with a gas fireplace issue. They weren’t even able to work us in on short notice due to a cancellation.Ben and Mitchell were amazing quickly diagnosing the problem and solving it. In a dish they gave us great suggestions for fireplace maintenance. If you have any needs for gas fireplaces maintenance. They are highly recommend. Their pricing is very reasonable

I couldn't possibly be happier with or more impressed by the professionalism, customer service, and expertise of Ben and his team at Southern Chimneys. When the installation of a new fireplace got more complicated when they were almost completely finished, instead of taking a shortcut that I would've never known about, they let me know the additional work that was needed, called in two more team members to do the additional masonry and other work, and stayed nearly four more hours to get it done right. And they work was flawless. And having spent the entire day with Ben, Ty, and Alex, I can say that not only were they all super friendly and incredibly professional, I got to hear first-hand the care and attention they gave to getting every little detail of this complicated install just right. Those three guys were amazing and I would recommend Southern Chimneys to anyone!

Thorough and friendly service! We got a clean to prep for the winter and an inspection with a detailed report. Explained everything in detail from the inspection. They also fixed our gas valve so it would evenly distribute the flames. Highly recommend this locally owned and operated business.

Ty and David from Southern Chimneys were fantastic. They showed up right on time, were professional, friendly, and super easy to talk to.

I’m a complete novice when it comes to fireplaces, and they did an amazing job explaining everything in a way that actually made sense. They walked me through how the fireplace works, how to use it safely, and what to look out for. They even showed me what the chimney looked like both inside and out, which was really helpful.

Overall, amazing service and a great experience. I’d absolutely recommend Southern Chimneys especially if you want people who take the time to educate you instead of rushing through the job.

Southern Chimney did an excellent job thoroughly inspecting and sweeping my chimney and recommending repairs as a pre-requisite to installing gas logs. They have swept my chimney in the past as well and have always been very professional and honest.

Contacted peachtree cleaning for a chimney inspection. Laszlo came out and did a thorough inspection and took photos of the areas of concern. I’m a first time home buyer so a lot of this is new to me! He took the time to walk me through and explain everything in detail. He gave me some great advice and helped me come up with a plan to tackle repairs based on his findings and my budget. I’m super appreciative of the time he took to explain everything and get me on the right track moving forward.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. A picture is worth a 1000 words and i can write a novel on why not to use this service. Not only did one of their representatives try to scam us by going under the table and was most-likely UNINSURED ON MY ROOF (he wasn't covered under the company because he closed out our account after the consolation and DIDN'T TELL US! he wrote the quote on the company letter head and everything and we only caught him because i called to complain about the quality of work). But when a different person came out to finish the job after months (note we were still contacted by the first angry employee who tried to scam us and is still employed by them last i was told), This is how they left it! GLUE EVERYWHERE!! When we confronted them about how it looked they responded with “well that’s expensive glue! You should be happy that we use those high quality materials” it took me 2 hours and my own materials and labor to make it not look like hot trash.I would never do business with them ever again and you shouldn't either. This is my only google review and that should say something because the service was that bad.

Great service and Mark is the best! We highly recommend Peachtree Cleaning , they are prompt on arrival and very efficient at getting the job done. Mark is very professional and courteous. He always gets right to the task of cleaning our chimney and making sure it's safe to use. He always cleans up well, there's never a mess when he leaves.

Sean did an amazing job cleaning my chimney and repairing the cracks. He also gave me great information on how to properly burn a fireplace and what type of wood to use. He was very knowledgeable and I appreciate him going above and beyond. I will definitely use this company in the future.
