Excellent service! Delivered on time. The past owners of the house have been chasing a leak from the stone fireplace for 20+ years. I was determined to solve the issue and Southern Chimney did! It has rained a lot since they installed the new chimney pan, cap and waterproof the exterior stone and not a drop of water inside. Thank you so much!!! Here is a picture of the culprit.

Southern Chimney relined a two flues, replaced a leaking gas line, rebuilt a firebox as well as installed a chimney cap. They were kind, professional and did an excellent job. Before we always had a little smoke enter the home on firing up the fireplaces but no more. I collected quotes from a known franchise who ended up not being certified by the chimney sweep guild, a national company, and southern chimneys. They were more reasonably priced and locally owned and had excellent reviews. I felt going with this locally owned company was a way to avoid all the middlemen markups and support our local community businesses and I was right. Great choice. When the HOA needed chimney inspections from all units with short notice, I found Southern Chimneys LLC! With lots of 5 star reviews and an A+ rating on BBB, they were definitely the right choice for me. From the first call to scheduling, to when Ty and Alex called ahead to let me know they were on the way, and throughout the inspection process, they let me know what they were doing and why. They did a fantastic job, and I’m very pleased with them and their excellent work!

These folk have always been so on point for me. Upon buying a home I found receipt that they were the ones who refurbished my fireplace and chimney. Called them for info & background and they couldn't have been nicer.
Thought I was missing an adapter for the gas and they kindly offered me a new one- free of charge. When I went to pick up- I realized I had all the right parts after all.
Ive had them clean my chimney 1x so far and all was wonderful.
Always friendly and always answer the phone. Ill continue using them.

Ty, Mitchell, Alex, and Ben were all fantastic. They got my very old fireplace relined and working again — something I honestly wasn’t sure was possible. The team was professional, skilled, and went the extra mile by having some custom parts made specifically for my setup.

There was a bit of a wait to get scheduled, but that’s only because they’re in high demand — and for good reason. I hadn’t used the fireplace in over 20 years, so I was happy to wait for quality work, and it was absolutely worth it.

If you need chimney or fireplace work done right, Southern Chimneys is who you want.

We’re so glad we had Southern Chimneys come out for a second opinion on our new house! We were told by another company we had to replace the entire firebox system for about $7,500 due to a gap in our flue. Southern Chimneys saw the same gap and suggested seeing if they could snap it into place. Sure enough - they did and it’s good to go! They saved us a lot of money and stress.

If you’re looking for a company you can trust to fix your fireplace or chimney I couldn’t recommend Southern Chimneys more highly. They are professional and honest. The work they did for me was outstanding and I would hire them again.

As new homeowners, we have had a lot of contractors in and out of our house. Southern Chimneys has by far been the greatest. The ladies on the phone are delightful and easy to communicate with, Ben is thoughtful with his recommendations, and Mitchell and Ty were AMAZING with my install from set up, to teaching me how to use my new logs, to clean up. Cannot recommend Southern Chimneys enough- bonus points because my cats also loved the whole crew!

We've had our gas fireplace for about five years now-- the original installation went in during the pandemic, so there were some supply issues with some of the surround pieces--but the company was always in touch and upfront with deadlines and provided clear expectations. The fireplace insert has been one of the best upgrades we've made to our house since moving in--we use it constantly in cold weather and it's so nice to not fuss with cleaning up after a wood fire or heat the whole house with the furnace. And, when ice storms knocked out the power, we've had some good family slumber parties around the still functioning fireplace. Even the cat loves it-- and stares longingly at it when it's not turned on.

Recently, we called for service after the pilot light wouldn't light and Mitchell was the tech on site. He identified the issue, fixed it expeditiously, and cleaned up any dust or soot knocked up in the process. He also noticed the logs in our unit were looking more worn than expected for their age and a few weeks later, he was back to install a new set covered under the warranty. We've been thrilled with our fireplace and the service rendered.
