We had a really good experience with Sean from Stars and Pipes Plumbing, ATL. Our water heater needed fixing. He was super friendly and showed up right on time. He gave us three options. What we really appreciated was how patient he was. He took the time to explain everything and made sure the repair was done the way we wanted, not just the quickest fix. He didn’t rush, and you could tell he cared about doing it right. Pricing was very reasonable. The repair was done quickly and without any mess, The whole process was smooth and stress-free. I would definitely call him again and recommend him to our family and friends! Thank you, Sean!!!

Sean is quick, responsive, and put his heart to the work! He made everything look so easy! We did try other place but they took hour and could not figure out the reason! Sean took 30mins to find out and solve the problem.

Highly recommend! We called Stars and Pipes to look at several plumbing issues at our home. Sean was very responsive and provided reliable work. Supporting a veteran owned business is also a plus!

I would highly recommend Sean at Stars and Pipes Plumbing! I was building out a new bathroom in my basement and he helped with so many things. He’s super knowledgeable and patient and was available over the phone when I was tinkering with some things on my own. He’s a true professional and someone I will continue to use in the future!

I found Stars and Pipes Plumbing through Angi, and it was the best experience. Sean was very detailed and meticulous in describing the scope of the work and was very understanding and knowledgeable in answering all of our questions and concerns. He delivered quality service expeditiously in replacing our defunct water heater.
I hope I don’t need a plumber anytime soon, but if I do, I know just who to call.
If you want quality work that’s also budget friendly, Sean (Stars and Pipes Plumbing) is the way to go! -
10/10 would recommend. Sean was able to assist me on short notice. He communicated his plan, pricing, and intentions clearly.

Sean replaced my water heater and answered all my questions about random "just in case" things that could happen and showed how to address them.
I knew what I wanted before I called the company and Sean confirmed I was making a good choice. He was very transparent with pricing and did not try to oversell things. He sold exactly what was needed, with clear suggestions on how to proceed in the future.
I feel like Sean was thorough as well as efficient, giving me peace of mind. I will definitely use Stars and Pipes for my plumbing needs in the future! -
Sean is fantastic, and it's clear he's passionate about his work. We received several bids while planning to relocate our washer and water heater from a room we intend to convert into an additional bathroom. Although his bid wasn't the lowest, we felt most confident in his plan to reroute the water heater to our basement and move the washer connections to a side room. That peace of mind was well worth the extra expense.
I was incredibly impressed by the level of detail he provided when outlining his plan of action. He even returned after his initial visit to walk us through the proposal and explain what the final result would look like. On installation day, he dedicated significant time to the project, which we truly appreciated. The plumbing lines leading to the water heater and washer look exceptionally clean. His work features the best-looking plumbing in any area of our home.
Thank you, Sean! -
I was very happy with the professional and knowledgeable work provided by Sean at Stars and Pipes.
Sean was terrific and in my opinion makes the big box plumbing companies look like amateurs.
Sean repaired a problem which another big name plumbing company had worked on 2 times. Literally he fixed what the other company had tried twice.
I want to pay a fair price to a company that I trust to do the work correctly the first time. Finally, I got it! -
Sean is very professional. He came in to fix a job that was poorly done by another plumbing company. He came out when we needed him and his price was reasonable. He was very clean, professional and respectful. I would recommend Stars and Pipes plumbing to anyone who ask!

I had a great experience with Stars and Pipes Plumbing. Sean Nelson came to my house and spent a lot of time trying to find the cause of my water leak. It turned out to be a septic tank issue, not a plumbing problem, but Sean was still extremely kind, patient, and helpful. He even helped me contact a septic pumper.
Even though he didn’t make any money from the visit, he never rushed, complained, or left early. His honesty, professionalism, and positive attitude really stood out. I truly appreciate his time and effort and highly recommend Stars and Pipes Plumbing to anyone looking for trustworthy service. -
Extremely good service. Sean not only helped us out on a weekend via phone call, but was nice enough to let us know what to expect before they came out, during the maintenance window, and after with all the fine details so we knew everything during the whole process. We couldn't have been more grateful for restoring service in our home.

Sean was awesome. Assessed our issue we had after another plumbing company failed to fix it. He gave us a fair price. Was communicative, easy and transparent invoice sent to our email.
He thoroughly tested his work. Even did some extra caulking around our shower. Cleaned and vacuumed after his work. Top notch service. I have now found a reliable and trustworthy local plumber. Thank you! -
Absolutely the best plumbing company we’ve ever worked with!
My dad was dealing with a serious sewage issue at his home, and Sean went above and beyond from the very start. He quickly identified the root of the problem and was extremely thorough in his assessment. He didn’t just explain the issue—he provided clear photos and even physically marked where the problem was located. After his inspection, Sean explained that the blockage was actually on the county’s side, not the homeowner’s, and that we would need to get in touch with the county for repairs.
What really stood out to me was that Sean didn’t just leave it there—he personally helped me speak with the county’s customer service when they initially tried to claim the problem was our responsibility when they sent someone out to inspect. Sean even coordinated directly with the county to schedule a follow-up visit—without me needing to get involved—and personally returned to meet with their team to review the findings in detail. Thanks to his professionalism and persistence, the county acknowledged the issue was on their end and agreed to handle the repairs—something we were worried would turn into a drawn-out battle!
Throughout the entire process, Sean was incredibly communicative and supportive. He followed up regularly, kept us informed every step of the way, and truly made a stressful situation so much easier to deal with.
It’s rare to find a business that operates with such honesty, integrity, and commitment to customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Sean again for any future plumbing needs and will be recommending him to everyone I know. Truly top-tier service!! -
Sean at Stars and Pipes just did a water heater replacement today. Great service. Really easy to understand what was being done and pros & cons of different sizes/gas vs electric and some other issues. Worked with my senior citizen budget and my schedule. I did my homework and got 3 quotes for this as I’m on a fixed income. Would definitely recommend⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Due to the extreme cold weather I had my pipes freeze and burst. I called around and when I called here I was actually able to talk directly to Sean who was the plumber. Seeing he was a Veteran stood out to me. It was late at night and Sean was able to come out and stayed to repair it into the early hours of the morning. He was quick to arrive with constant communication. He was friendly and explained everything to me. He was respectful and I felt comfortable with him being around especially being a woman late at night. Turned out there were a good bit of leaks. Sean ended up having to repipe my lines and replaced the main valve cut off where the burst occurred. He did a great job as everything looks great and is working perfectly. I highly recommend him for any plumbing needs. I will definitely use him in the future.

I’m going to be completely honest here and say that I’m usually very skeptical of any company that has a perfect 5-star rating on google reviews, but after giving Sean a call, I fully understand how he has earned that perfect rating for his company.
No one really wants to call a plumber, but given my situation, the time came where I had to. After a questionable water bill and some deductive exploration around our home, I figured out we had a leak under our slab in one of the in-ground pipes, something I did not want to even remotely tackle.
Not having a local plumber that I could rely on (the last couple of folks I used left a lot to be desired), I searched on google and came across Stars and Pipes Plumbing. Gave Sean a call in the afternoon, explained the situation, and he swung by our house later that evening after he finished up the job he was working on. Sean was super informative and agreed that we had a leak under the slab. He answered every question I threw at him with knowledge and confidence and explained the whole process and what to expect on the day the repair was to be done.
While he was there, I had him look at some upgrades we’ve been wanting to make around the house to get some pricing ideas and he presented me again with all the information with reasonable prices (he was never pushy on trying to sell me anything or push for the job, which is huge in my book). Honestly, I felt so comfortable with Sean that I didn’t bother reaching out to anyone else. We agreed to have him repair our slab leak as well as come in and upgrade our 15-year-old water heater (preventative upgrade). The day of the job came, and Sean arrived on time, prepared and got everything done. The energy at the house was always positive (none of that disgruntled/frustrated plumber vibe) and Sean was a great guy to have around. He’s super chill, and once again, answered every question I had for him about what was going on. He had no issues explaining why certain things were done the way they were, as well as taking the time to show me how the new water heater works. I think what really sets Sean apart from others is that he genuinely cares for his work and treats his workspace as if it were his own home. He cleaned everything up after himself and honestly, short of mopping, you would have never known work was done in the house. He’s honestly one of the only contractors I have encountered that I would gladly leave the keys to my house with and let him work without us being around if needed. -
The installer replaced an aging water heater with professionalism, efficiency, and care. I am happy with the work, and the price, given the unavoidable current effects of inflation.

This is who my local Home Depot used as the subcontractor to disconnect plumbing for a countertop job. We have a garbage disposal. My wife left the dishwasher running and the tech disconnected the sink plumbing without turning it off. Water everywhere. I had to provide a few towels and also had to do more cleanup after he left. I also paid the additional charge to have my gas cooktop disconnected. The tech was attempting to disconnect the gas line without first turning off the gas shutoff valve before I reminded him that it was still live. After he left I smelled gas (more than what I'd consider residual) and had to put another quarter turn on the shutoff valve with some channel locks. I will be contacting Home Depot and letting them know that I will not allow Bynum to do my reconnections after the countertops are finished next week.

The plumber was very nice and professional, cleaned up after himself well and did a good job. When he was leaving he said the toilet he had just replaced was actually fine and the leak was coming from the cutoff valve. He tightened it up and showed my husband how to tighten it up if it were to come loose again. That was really nice but he could have told me that before he replaced my perfectly good toilet. It would have saved me several 100's of dollars.

They replaced a 24 year old water heater and got us going in one afternoon. They were professional, courteous and cleaned up afterwards. I will definitely use them for any future plumbing repairs.
