These folks are awesome! Very friendly crew, did a great job of selling the value of their work, and gave new life to my AC unit that needed some TLC. I’d heard great things about them from other friends, and they lived up to the hype. I signed up for the bi-annual maintenance program just so I can keep my HVAC hardware in the best shape possible, and I look forward to having the team back in the future.

Fast appointment! They showed up ontime, performed tune up on both HVAC units (which were on a two story roof) added coolant to one unit and explained my options for possible replacement of a 12-13 year old unit. Excellent experience, I will use them again.

I want to take the time to do an in depth review of my experience with Evans A/C. Approximately 3 weeks ago my aging unit was on the way out. The last company to install it was awful. Incomplete install, too large of a unit etc…I called the company that serviced it and they just threw a number at me not giving me much information. I called a close friend and they told me to call Evans immediately that Chris (the owner) would take good care of me. I am so grateful for the referal.
Chris came out promptly. Went through my whole home. Told me I didn’t need such a big unit and to go with a 2 ton. Explained the difference in 3 units and suggested the one in the middle Amana. It’s super energy efficient, very quiet and was the same he had in his home.
Within a week it was installed. I was very happy. A few days later the new thermostat didn’t work. I texted Chris fairly late on a Saturday night and he was at my home Sunday morning. He thought the wiring might be old from my other unit. He replaced it quickly and she’s been running strong. It was nice to have him come so quickly. As part of the install a separate team comes out to review the install to make sure it’s done correctly. That was scheduled for that Monday. But Chris took the time that Sunday to go over the unit. They write your serial numbers for the warranty and have their office register the unit. Also a nice touch Chris’s team installed a very high end thermostat from Dainkin that is a dream to manage from your phone. The entire process was seamless. The young men that performed the work were so sweet. Also his quote was much less than the big name brand company that gave me my first quote. It feels really good to have such a great company that is reliable and thorough. Evans will be maintaining my unit moving forward.

I do not like to do recommendations for companies, but I would not hesitate to recommend Evans. Heating and air to anyone needing work on there. HVAC. The technicians are very knowledgeable, personal and efficient. Chris, the owner.

Evans HVAC recently installed a brand new system with new duct work in our home. They have provided regular service over the last couple of years & while my previous system was ancient, they kept it running nicely and were never pushy about replacing it. Once I decided it was time to replace the system, they provided a detailed estimate with different options, helped me find the best financing options and scheduled the installation promptly. Their communication was great with text updates that share when they will arrive and what technician will be doing the work. They also went above and beyond by cleaning out some old debris, from the crawlspace, including an old water heater that was there for who knows how long. They also installed a new access point into the crawlspace to make servicing, and changing the filter, much easier. I'm very happy with the new system and the service provided by Chris Evans and his team! Will continue to highly recommend to my clients and friends.

By far one of the best a/c services I’ve ever had. My tech Dalton was on time, and came same day as requested. I thought my motor went out, but the tech was honest enough to tell me that it was in fact the compressor. I will definitely be using this company again in the future.

This company has been fantastic evey single time we've called them. We've used them for total AC replacement they came out same day to look at ours and give us a quote. They came back to install it very quickly... we've since called them years later with an issue they came out promptly to fix and we now have a service where they come out twice a year. They are top notch on every aspect. Would 100% percent recommend in every way.

Didn't explain that they charge extra to actually tell you what is wrong. It was $370.00 bucks for a 5 minute diagnostic and house call. They need to explain up front especially when someone asked specifically about all the fees associated with it before labor is added. If course I paid because he was already hear and wouldn't move on unless I did. Total deception! Then they quoted 2,100 MORE labor. Requested a call from Chris Evans himself only to hear repeatedly that what they charge is pretty standard and nobody is going to do it for anything cheaper. To be clear they need to understand that it's not so much of the price but the communication. They KNOW WHAT THEY'RE SAYING AND NOT SAYING. EXPLAINING the standard should be THE standard! WASTED MY MONEY!!!

As someone new to Georgia and have not had the best customer service experience with service vendors, it is very encouraging to have Matthew as my hvac technician. Besides the great work he does, he’s always willing to help me trouble shoot and offer tips on how to manage systems. I look forward to seeing Matthew as we often branch off into other interest, compounding on his over the top customer service. I, nor my family do not feel like another service number, rather, we are a valued customer. His customer service value is apparent, when often times we say hello passing each other on the road. If you and yours value great customer service and quality work, then you’re in good hands with Evans Air Conditioner. I chose Evans because they seemed to offer the fairest price and a solid deal. From the start, they were honest, straightforward, and accommodating. I took the day off work, expecting the installation to take all day, but Michael, Manuel, and Dalton worked so efficiently that I could've taken a late shift if I wanted to! Their professionalism and speed honestly left me amazed.

What really stood out was their integrity. They got my air conditioner working again, and they didn’t know this, but my family had just lost my grandmother. We were struggling to cover funeral expenses after being unable to locate her life insurance policies. Funds were tight, and their fairness and service meant more than they could imagine.

I can't thank them enough. I would absolutely hire them again. 10/10—highly recommend.

Better than expected. Basically, my AC unit motor stopped working. A coworker highly recommend Evans AC after I mentioned my AC problems.. I went to the Evans AC website and scheduled an appointment. My service tech, Matthew replaced the motor and had my AC working again in less than an hour. He was professional, knowledgeable, polite. Best of all, no dreaded up sale.
So, I would absolutely recommend Evans AC.

I had an amazing experience with Evans air conditioning for my HVAC service! From start to finish, Matthew was professional yet personable, knowledgeable, and courteous. Scheduling was easy, and they arrived right on time. Matthew took the time to explain the issue clearly and walked me through the repair process. Also repeated when I didn’t understand everything. They worked efficiently and made sure everything was trouble shooted perfectly before they left.

On top of great service, He was transparent when let eating the bad news of needing a new system— no surprises. My HVAC system is currently still down but I feel comfortable making the next decision concerning new systems. My heat stopped working one cold night it was about 20° outside and it felt like 30° inside my house. That following morning I called Evan‘s air conditioning bright and early in the morning when they opened. The receptionist scheduled me within a few hours to be serviced. They serviced my system and had me up and running. Within 20 mins. I appreciated their service and my house back to warmth. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

My a/c unit upstairs stopped working. I called over the weekend and was scheduled first thing Monday. Michael was the tech that came to repair my unit. He explained what the problem was and how much it would cost. He repaired it in no time. He was very professional. They definitely have gained a new customer.

Chris was great setting up my appointment and sent Jon out for the fix. Jon was very knowledgeable, friendly and even had the part we needed on his truck, had us warming up in practically no time. Reasonable rates considering it being Saturday with ice and snow on the ground

Chris and the team at Chris Evans Heating and Air truly bailed us out of a jam this weekend. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was restored and operating properly with our systems.

From the moment they arrived, the level of customer service, attention to detail, and communication throughout the entire process was exceptional. It’s not easy to find a company willing to step in on such short notice and still deliver such high-quality work, but they absolutely did.

Dalton came out, did inspection, and performed every test he could think of. Afterwards, he made recommendations to fix the problem.

My AC went out on 7/1/2025. I called Chris around 7:30 pm and he quickly answered. He tried to troubleshoot over the phone before anything else. We ended up needed a technician and he had someone here by 3 pm the next day. 2 hours later we have a working AC again! Top knowledge and top level service.

The two technicians that came out were helpful, professional, and very knowledgeable. They spent extra time to answer all of my questions, and wore shoe covers to keep my house clean. Great business and very trustworthy for all things HVAC
