Daniel showed up right on time. He fixed our issue quickly. He also did a great job of explaining the details of what happened and marking some of our pool controls so we can better diagnose any issues in the future.

For years Sweetwater has been handling all my pool needs from maintenance to renovation. I trust them completely. I appreciate how quickly they respond to my needs. Truly, I do not know what I would do without them!

First visit out we were told we had some wiring issues. Our pool was super green and I needed this co to get started on getting it clean. Was told the wiring issues would need to get resolved but did put some kind of super shock in the pool. No instructions as to run or not to run the pump. Next thing I know we have received a $2,000.00 estimate to make repairs to our pool. One of which was a new pool pump of which we just had a new pump installed last fall. Nothings is wrong with our pool except maybe some wiring that needed attention and to get the pool cleaned up. Feels kind of like a bate and switch. Service Cancelled

We needed a pool service company this year and Sweetwater was very responsive and could schedule us quickly at a better price than we were quoted elsewhere. They opened the pool yesterday and it already looks good. We are very happy.

Daniel and his team at Sweetwater have always done a phenomenal job for my clients. Responsive, professional, and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done and the job done right. Not only do they do a great job, they are patient and willing to explain and educate about the process as well - perfect for those that want to know something about everything like myself!

Unpredictable quality of service visits. Sometimes good, sometimes useless. Unusable green pool half the time lately, with all sorts of excuses. I will update when service becomes reliably good.
UPDATE: Issues are being addressed this week. Will update again next week.
Update: I guess I was too picky. They cancelled me. I would have expected a heads up. Changing review to ONE star.

I use Sweetwater Pools for regular pool maintenance and they have been extremely reliable, providing good communication about price increases and service changes. When I needed the salt cell checked for a possible defect, they were able to schedule a service visit quickly and the technician took the time to explain to me what was wrong. Great all-round service.

I had such a good experience with Sweetwater back in May 2021, that I used them again in August to replace/upgrade my dead single speed pool motor and pump. Daniel was super helpful on the phone explaining the benefits of the VSP. Their guys installed it yesterday and it's super quiet (the neighbors are thrilled!) and I am looking forward to shaving a few dollars off my electric bill.

I reached out to Sweetwater about my noisy motor because I had used them previously for repairs and they did fine. This time was different. The repair guy told me that I would need to replace the motor, but that since the waterfall motor worked fine they could attach that one to the main part of the pool instead until the repair gets done. Within 24 hours my pool water level dropped and I recorded the water coming out of the motor which had not previously been happening. When I reached out, it took over a week to find out that they would only come back if they were replacing the motor. They refused to put the motor back to how it was before. Ultimately, I paid $150 for them to diagnose the problem and create a bigger one. As my pool water has been stagnant all this time, it’s going to cost me even more to get it chemically balanced.

Just starting using Sweetwater Pool Service after they were hired to complete the inspection of our pool during our home buying process. Thus far, they've been great and I appreciated the Pool School they offered to teach me about my system.

Patrick did a great job in getting the pool cleaned after the recent storms. He is always willing to answer any questions I might have. John followed up to check & clean the filter. As usual, he explained what he was doing & how long it would take. I truly appreciate all of a Sweetwater Pools employees. They are all friendly & efficient. My pool has never looked so good! Thank you everyone for helping to take this task off my shoulders.

We have been Sweetwater clients for over 2 years. They helped us with the selection and installation of new pool equipment when we renovated our pool, and took on weekly pool service from there. Despite staff changes, the quality of our pool service has been consistent, with very few questions or concerns on our side. We also had a great experience where they went over the top to help us with an equipment malfunction that happened in the first couple of months of use. We especially enjoy receiving texts and email reports so that we have a record of everything that has happened. Highly recommend Sweetwater and have suggested to all neighbors with pools.

    Update:
After my review, Sweetwater contacted me immediately and apologized for the lack of communication. To make up for it, they sent a tech out the following day. He looked at my equipment and got me up and running the same day. I've always liked working with them and plan to continue to use their services for my pool.

My experience with Sweetwater over a year ago was great. They cleaned my pool, replaced equipment, and provided a thorough report on all of it with photos of the work they did.
This year has been a completely different experience. I had them replace my sand filter in April this year and check my booster pump (which they installed in April 2021) and everything was working fine. A week or so later, I was cleaning the pool and the booster wasn't working. I called Sweetwater and asked to have a technician come out. They couldn't get anyone out until June 3rd. I was out of the country and assumed they'd email me with results of the tech visit. I never heard anything. I called several times and asked when I'd get a quote and never received anything. The communication, response times, and everything was so bad, I went with another pool company. I spent a lot of money with them to be treated so poorly - finding good service for a fair price is like a unicorn these days. So, so rare!

We have just switched pool service providers to Sweetwater Pools. Our pool is the best shape it has ever been and only wish we had made the switch sooner!

The Sweetwater team is always punctual, professional, and courteous. We really appreciate the emails they send reminding us of service appointments, the clear invoicing and estimates for the additional repairs needed. We are very happy with their service and looking forward to working with them for years to come.

Very efficient process. Brett did a fantastic job on the install. Everyone was quite professional from beginning to end.

While I appreciate that the pool is clean and well-maintained, I was very disappointed by the behavior of the employee named Genesis. After finishing up at the pool, she sped through our neighborhood — which has a clearly posted 25mph speed limit. I flagged her down out of concern for the safety of residents (including kids and pets), and her response was, “I was only going 40.” That kind of attitude toward speeding in a residential area is unacceptable, especially from someone representing a company or service. Clean pool or not, safety should come firs

Sweetwater is doing a good job of keeping my water good through the winter, opening my pool and then keep chemicals balanced during the year.

Nothing sweet about it. Non performance was so bad that they terminated their own contract. Despite our repeated calls and emails, they left sand in our pool for 6 WEEKS after we had just replaced the filter. Daniel Collins promised the sand from the old filter would be vacuumed out of the pool immediately after our new filter was installed. Instead, it took SIX WEEKS of emails to John Rayment for that to happen. Every time the tech came out, their vacuum equipment failed and they would give up without finishing. They even desperately tried to blame our electrical outlet which was ridiculous lol. When they returned with working equipment the pool finally got cleaned. It took constant emails to the regional sales to make it finally happen. And even on that day the tech had to leave and come back again with better equipment. She was furious about having to spend so much time on our pool, though an hour of her time was leaving and returning with working equipment. Her name is Summer. Their techs also threw chlorine tabs in our SKIMMER instead of the chlorinator which could’ve ruined our new filter. Absolutely pathetic performance. Sweetwater’s non-performance was so bad and so well documented that they terminated their own contract. Good riddance!

First, I want to make sure this Review gets to the proper Division as I was verbally instructed (I was told to post under Seeetwater Pools, “Commercial Division”).
If this isn’t the correct division, please give me direction to the right one.
With all that, Let Me start by saying that if there were an option for 10 Stars to be given, I would give Kirston and Her Staff All of them. She provides not only Outstanding service, but She exemplifies the term Relentless Follow Up and Prompt Communication as Well.. Way to Go Kirston! (I hope I spelled her name correctly)…. 2 Thumbs Up!
